There was no such one moment. They fall for each other gradually staying together, getting attracted since ep 3-4. They had a small peck in ep 9 if you consider that a kiss. That's the first physical intimacy they had. iQiyi has the best subs.

Totally possible. Your theories might be correct, I have my own also, I also know the novel reason. I just feel they should have edited it in a way that, that conversation happens first, then sending of the marriage decree, this is a break in consistency of scenes as we don't know what lead to this scenario, what happened in the palace. Yeah they might show us in flashback, but I find that sloppy honestly.
Okay about this royal princess and ML's betrothment, we were told it was officially cancelled, after ML rejected her, and Qi Shu claiming that she sees Marquis only as her brother. This had nothing to do with the fact that ML suddenly went missing or presumed dead, because cancellation happened before it. So why did the Emperor and Qi Shu's mother send a royal marriage decree when Qi Shu's engagement is already fixed with Wenkan. Yeah considering the director, we might be told or shown that later( I hope), but I still think that should have been shown before sending the marriage decree. Plus Li faction's reaction to that, or did they not know that their would be daughter in law is getting married to their enemy. Yup, I understand why he did, I have theories but that should have been shown to us.

Exactly. Their breakup made so much sense in the novel. It was evident how he wanted justice, here it was as if he was just going with the flow. I don't remember a scene where he really is in rage getting mad wanting to know the truth. So when he actually did not breakup with FL in the drama, I was okay because firstly I fear we do not have enough time at this point, secondly his father's case seems secondary to him. In the novel, it made sense because they told us how he behaved continuously for 100 chapters suffering in pain wanting revenge. Even their make up made sense, when he thought that it doesn't matter, after failing to move on, getting the punishment in love. That was the best scene, he took 108 lashes for HER. The changes do not add up honestly. Its weird why would ML trust Wei Qilin all of a sudden just because FL is his daughter. I am pretty sad about it.

Yes, that's why I think it has to come from FL. Like they can clearly see things aren't good between the two of them, and now they hear he is going to be the prince consort, so I guess they think its true when it isn't. So once they know, it might be fine.

That's a teasing come from a point when they thought he is getting married. I am glad they would support her and not hold themselves back just because he is the Marquis. But they always respect FL's choices, when FL told them to leave, they leave. So when they see things are okay between FL and ML, they would come around as well, I hope they would.
The emperor doesn't deserve to be on the throne as such. Like the drama has not explored his character so much as of yet, but with whatever shown of him we can understand that he is a puppet, with no skills or ability. The court and country is in chaos due to his inability. He is always trying to please wei and li factions.
Most of the characters here are fighting for power, greed, Huai An and ML are probably the only ones who are doing for a right cause, considering Huai An doesn't do anything stupid.
