I think the romance is very underneath, it makes sense here. As the FL is very self aware, she knows she will…
Yes. She would fall for him too, but it would be too late by then. So we would be kept away from nice moments between the two leads. That's sad, I think a little more emphasis on romance and a little less emphasis on food would have worked better.
Or they should not have included romance and the king’s story and made it solely about the food and a little…
The romance is important. But it has been sidelined. I ain't against the cooking or romance. The makers and editors should have done a better job in having a perfect balance, that's what I think. The cooking parts are really nice, the comedy is great. I like it. But the romance has not been shown that much. In today's episode it was hardly 10-12 minutes. In the last episode there was nothing. This should have been a 16 episodes show, or otherwise it should have made only one thing its focus. All the remaining things can end up in chaos at the end, which I really don't want for this amazing show!
Honestly, they stretched the competition for many episodes. It would have been okay if it was a 16 episodes show. The FL has not even realized she likes the king. With 3 episodes remaining, realizing the love, heartfelt moments, attacks angst and then a good climax and ending are all a lot. Instead of making it a cooking based show they should have made a perfect balance or have 16 episodes. The ending would seem rushed at this rate.
Question- If he had a child with a mistress, why did he change his will few weeks before his death, and give everything to his wife, with whom he was so miserable according to the mistress?
Kang Hanna really suits joseon and the prettiest in hanbok,
So true. Honestly, I really feel that most of the actresses look way better while playing modern roles, than in Hanbok. But this woman, oh my god, she looks so beautiful.
I really hope the makers have something worse in store for the treacherous consort. I mean, sometimes I do get swayed by her beauty, but all the other times, she makes my blood boil. I mean what exceptionally good acting skills.
The scene was really nice when all the four leads were hanging out in the flower shop. Generally most of the stories are such where its two friends dating two friends. But here its nice as all the four of them have a connection with each other. But I really have a question, I mean, they kissed already, and if they start dating from the next week, is it not too soon. I mean I would be glad for romantic moments, but dating soon always means there would be problems later on. I hope they don't drag on that though. It should be a sweet melodrama.
I am in episode 10 currently, and I literally want to know what made people being confused by who her husband would be? I mean after the China trip and the beach scenes, even in episode 10, wasn't it pretty obvious. If anyone watches and observes every minute detail, clearly her husband was her first choice, someone she always took care of, held hands with even when they were just friends. Also when she chose his pink gloves over the other one.
Yes, the other guy was really appealing, and I felt bad for him though.
I am glad FL lost the case. She should have lost one case in the whole series. It was weird she kept winning all, made her ex-bf looked stupid. I never imagined they would make her loose the last one. But that's what this was all about, it did things I never imagined. The second ML and FL's dating to wedding seems rushed. Yes, but there are many couples who do that. Many couples date for many years, marry, then end up divorced. I hope these two can be happy together for a very long time. With that proposal it gave a good end with a smile to our face. The reunion of the mother with her second daughter was needed. But it would have been better if FL was there too. Also loved how all the cases/victims were shown about how they are going on with their lives.
The ending of our leads- well I kind of expected an open ending. The ending varied. Either they could be together after sometime, or they could never be together. But does that matter? I think NO. They are compatible, they have similar views and goals, so they might be suited for each other. But even if not, both of them have actually build a beautiful friendship alongside their mentor-mentee relationship. A second season or not, I really hope the ML finds solace and companionship maybe in the FL or not.
Beyond the Bar was truly beyond the bar/court. Its the best legal drama I ever saw. I will miss this so much.
I'm glad he's aware. he's a good emperor, even the ways he get rid off his fam a little bit cruel but in the end,…
Exactly he was too cruel. But now I think that maybe if he didn't have a cruel father and brother, that wife, father-inlaw, and didn't always had to think about survival, maybe he would be gentle as well.
From the beginning. This drama had more romance than LOTFG. Here, revenge and fantasy were just side plots.
I don't know when they were not dating. They are always together lol! I think they kiss in ep 15, and start to date then. But even before that they were flirting and everything. There is no breakup but in ep 31, he forgets her and there is a slight misunderstanding so they go to their own paths. But in ep 32 she became his prisoner, and from ep 33 they flirt again, and by ep 34 he also regains his memory. Even during those 3 episodes, they were really sweet. So, it didn't even feel that there is a breakup.
