The ending of the drama will not be able to satisfy all the people here today. Either those who want romance or those who don't will think it has a bad ending.
Regardless of the romance factor, this drama has been the best Korean drama for me with all those cases, ethics, morals clashing. The dialogues, the solutions, and the friendships, everything left a mark for me. I will miss this so much from next week.
One last time, lets do it!

From the beginning. This drama had more romance than LOTFG. Here, revenge and fantasy were just side plots.

This had a satisfying end. After moonlit reunion's ending, I am so glad to have watched Shadow Love. Honestly, I really thought I wouldn't be able to picture Cheng Lei with any other woman after LOFTG. But the chemistry was good as well. I have watched Song Yi before and she aced it here as well.

Also Cheng Lei, the acting range you delivered here was insane. Maybe this is his finest work till he does something even better than this. This drama would be in my memory for a really long time.

Also Jin An, where do I find a man like you! I am so glad the drama ended with him being Jin An and not Prince Annan.

Did I hate CP? Yes. Was I against his redemption? Yes. Did I want him to die? Yes. Did I forgive him after today's episode. Yes.
To let go of someone you loved your whole life is difficult. But I am happy he did come around with it though at the very end, but it was not too late.

No no, in real world, they might do. But this is the drama world, and they are leads who had been kissing and clinging to each since the last 15 episodes. Also the FL even after being tortured was smiling and thinking about her husband for the entire day. So we cannot call this a forced kiss. Hehe

On a side note- What would be the meaning of such scenes, if they don't make them end up together? I mean if the directors don't want romance, why take the brutal route and break our hearts into pieces? They better end up together after all of this!!

Some excellent points about Ep 32 were that they don't stretch misunderstandings. I mean we are at the angst period, but Prince Annan clarifies himself to FL that he didn't order her torture. Most of the times, dramas depict misunderstandings over misunderstandings, I am glad they did not take this route.
Also when was Prince Annan ruthless, except that he tortured her a little, which is normal because they are all commanders. He actually agreed to serve her 30 dishes, even gave her candies, gave her medicine.
Also 100% she wouldn't poison him, that's when the entire- Am I Jin An and the forced kiss part comes. Not a fan of forced kisses, but I don't think FL would mind it.

Its weird a comment section having so much difference of opinion. Its actually like lawyers against each other in a courtroom. Lol!

Haha! I really hope even if they don't end up together, the drama should be wrapped up properly with a good closure. But yes I am excited for the case.

100%. The ML did not show any single moment of love towards the FL. But it still something more than just a mentor-mentee. Considering how they had tea/coffee breaks almost after every episode. They also shared personal stuff, the ML too. I felt a little something between them mainly due to the stares, especially in the room when the twins slept, and even in today's episode. But yes to each their own.

I felt it was romantic, because she wanted to help the ML on the issue of Hash, because she liked him. That's why even when the second ML told her that this case wouldn't be counted in her performance, because its like something they are just doing for the ML, she still agreed, because she sees him more than a mentor. I also think she did that not only for that case, but also she knew he liked the twins and that's a way for her to spend time with him, outside office.
I believe ep 11 wasn't great, especially for someone who would just expect legal cases. But yes as someone who wants to see a blend of both personal as well as legal, I liked it. Also depends on perspective, because I really believe they should end up together, so the scenes really seem meaningful to me. But I get your perspective too.

The best part of behind the scenes, in all Cheng Lei dramas are him being a photographer for his costars, be it LOTFG, Shadow Love and now Footprints of change. I mean that's so cute, him taking pictures of all of them from different angles.

The Fl's issues with her mother definitely needed a closure, because they bought that up themselves in earlier episodes, so they need to wrap that up as well. I am glad they did it now, and not wait for the final episode. But the ex wife, I thought that was done and dusted, but they still brought that up.
Ep 11 would only make sense if the leads are together by ep 12, otherwise I don't really understand why they would show all the twins, hash, leads happy scenes, and how FL consoles and supports him.
Office politics is a let down though.

That's heartbreaking, considering how good the drama is.

16? I wouldn't mind 20 also. I really don't get why they had to reduce from 16 to 12 for all the dramas these days. I mean if they really start to date from ep 12, we should at least be getting office romance, and post- work/office dates.

I did not watch today's episode, because of the angst. Can't wait to catch up tomorrow with all the 8 episodes together. Hoping they don't betray us and release all of them together.
Also hoping for a little angst, a beautiful reunion, fighting against all odds together, and definitely not a rushed ending, but an ending full of sweet & happy moments for our leads.

I get it, but maybe you could just watch one episode and decide. Its extremely well written. It also depends on perspective though, so I get it.
