Prince Duan and ML's mothers were killed in palace politics, might have been orchestrated by Empress Dowager. In the novel it was written that Prince Duan believes ML's mother was responsible for the death of Duan's mother. Again no proof found nothing!
I think she tried manipulating ML and Prince Duan but failed because they understood her intentions, had mothers previously so! That is why she forced ML to have a child, whose mother she killed, so that the child since day 1 can be in her control! Hence she retains powers!

I did not watch that! I just read the novel! So for one second I was confused, but then I tried to remembered, but had no such memory that the crown prince was transmigrated too! Hehe! Brilliant move!

So our theory of the cases being interlinked is true. Because the second case closed with the death of the guy who ran away, and FL mistakenly killed him; but there were people who orchestrated that. Next case also is related to the palace! So there are a group of people responsible for all of these and even FL's parents! I highly doubt the imperial consort though!
In such dramas, the climax has to be really important, hopefully not rushed, because they have to close the loose ends of all the cases, and incorporate it together! I hope they are able to do that!

There is a plot twist to the killing of the minister thing! Secondly ML and FL want to survive. They have no intention of killing SFL and SML. Also if you have watched latest episodes, SML is a very bad person! FL and ML know that if they don't do anything they will get killed, hence they are trying to change the script, while helping others, like the scholars are saved who are good people, they will eventually stop the drought as well!

But I don't know if you remember there was a scene where Empress Dowager asked her servant if FL and ML spent the night together, and her servant said that because no one is allowed near the chamber by Mr.Bei, so they don't know about sharing bed, but they both were together in the room, and empress was really concerned!
Her main agenda was to kill the ML, and have his son who is manipulated controlled by her since his childhood sit in the throne, so that she can enjoy power throughout! So yeah, she is very disgusting, but don't worry she will soon meet her end, I think by episode 20, because even in the novel it was in the middle!

He was just there, as he said to FL, he was just looking at the flowers. FL gave him so many hints about the modern world, he could not catch any! I think they deliberately did it to make people be in doubt! Hence even made the same actor play father-son!
But no, he is a 2D character. Just have a rewatch in those scenes, ML always wears black, his son wears white!

No its just a plot twist! They have deliberately done that to confuse people! Dan wears black clothes, the transmigration scene was of 15 years back when he looked towards the mirror, planted SOS flowers, spoke to the servant. That's ML 15 years back.

When did they show ML's son transmigrated? Its just the same actor, its to confuse people! If I remember correctly, ML is the one who transmigrated 15 years back. The scenes you were shown him talking to a servant, seeing him in the mirror, planting SOS, are scenes 15 years back. He wears black clothes. Because its his son, its being played by the same actor, but he is just a 2D character, he wears white clothes!

ML's son/crown prince did not transmigrate right? Its just I think the actor who played ML's childhood is also playing his son, hence the confusion. It was ML who put up SOS in his childhood, crown prince is just a character of the novel right?

ML was hardly 13-14 when he was raped by a maid to have that child! The entire thing was orchestrated by his step mother. ML was poisoned, drugged, manipulated his entire life. He was even raped. His step mother killed the maid to control the crown prince.
ML is seriously ill, has bad headaches due to the poison he was fed. He doesn't trust anyone, hence became a tyrant.
He has done nothing to his son, he is not a terrible father, they just don't have a bond. The son is fully controlled by Empress Dowager, and he would later even try to kill ML and FL.
Its very complicated.

It was a maid, Empress Dowager forced the maid and the ML to have a child, ML was young, it was a rape! After the birth of the crown prince, the maid was killed so that Empress Dowager could control the crown prince.

My God this is so good! Like they do such a good portrayal of the novel! Perfect balance of comedy and seriousness!
Also my melodramatic couple putting up shows in front of others, and manipulating things in their favour, brilliant!!
