My exact point! They gave such a build up in crown prince's name, so they now show him, or at least say something that negates my theory!

This is not that kind of amnesia. This is different. FL's family was assassinated when she was 7-8 years old! Everything happened in front of her, but she was a child, she got scared, and was taken away. Due to trauma, she could not remember that particular night! Like her memories of that day of assassination was erased. She grew up tries to remembers that night, but isn't able to before ep 21.

Trust me I wouldn't have distrusted her. But right chancellor is her brother, the one who they show in the latest episodes, trying to kill FL.

The synopsis though now changed, clearly mentioned a consort and right prime minister behind the incident. I think the synopsis was changed 2 days back, because I clearly read it. Now maybe it was written wrong, its possible hence they changed. That's why I wrote that Consort Shu seems too nice, hence they should bring up a big justification if they tell us in the last episodes that she was responsible!
I will be glad if she isn't though, I like her, and poor FL would be devastated if what I think is true!

Also if I ignore the synopsis, in most detective dramas, the person whose the most nicest innocent is often the main villain! And the one they try to portray as bad, is seemingly the nice one later. Just the thing they did with ML's father, showed him suspicious, ML distrusted him, but he later becomes the good man. Like I have just read and seen thousands of plots like this, so maybe I am being a little bias as well!

They never mentioned this, there are doubts regarding this. But I don't think 15 years before crown prince is the current majesty- My reasons:

In the first episode, when ML introduced himself, FL asked him if his father was crown prince's grand tutor? FL should have asked if his father was emperor's grand tutor.
When they showed ML's father speaking to FL about what happened 15 years back, ML's father said, he came with crown prince's guards. If the crown prince 15 years ago had become the majesty now, ML's father would have mentioned that he came with the current Majesty's guards. Unless if ML's father is the grand tutor of both Emperor and his son, the current crown prince.
This is again contradictory because ML's father seems younger than the Emperor by looks or at least be of same age, he cannot be Emperor's tutor.
In today's episode, Emperor told the head eunuch that FL's father submitted the command tally or something like that to him, which the eunuch found out and kept, because FL's father wanted to retire. Why would FL's father submit it to the crown prince and not majesty. Plus ML's father had also mentioned that FL's dad submitted the command tally to the majesty!

Okay now, I maybe wrong! But the drama did not clear it! So maybe we have to wait. But I feel they are different people!

They like have mentioned the crown prince 3000 times, ML's father is crown prince's grand tutor, crown prince's right hand man was FL's uncle, crown prince's guards were coming to save FL's family with ML's father, crown prince this that.....? How long? Like why have they hidden him so much? Show us the guy!

Am I crying? It took 3 dramas, and a lot of manifestations for him to play the boyfriend character of Bai Lu in a drama! Though it didn't seem they started dating from ep 28, because they have been flirting since what ep 9? Lol!
Also such a pretty kiss!!
At least FL will have a good in-laws home who love her, because the emperor is such a douchebag! And I distrust Consort Shu due to obvious reasons, but if she is pretending to be this nice, I really hope they give a big reason for her behaviour throughout!

There is a deleted scene where Leads son's who is now the next emperor, is telling his parents story to his daughter (leads granddaughter).

From his perspective, he might believe in superstitions, hence believed FL could see future! You made a valid point though! Nothing of that was mentioned in the novel! So maybe has left to viewer's imagination!

In the novel after the first incident of poison powder throwing, FL had him in house arrest. When FL and ML came back after defeating Duan, crown prince became a nice person, acted good, even called FL mother empress. But later it was shown that he was in cahoots with Duan's men and had taken a very toxic poison from empress dowager's chambers and told mute girl to poison FL. Mute girl did not do that because she was attached to FL as shown in the drama. But yes the entire scenario was planned by the crown prince. So later ML deposed him. He would live like a commoner but did not kill him because he was his son.

Crown prince later was in cahoots with Duan's men. He gave a strong poison to that mute girl to poison FL to death. Mute girl did not use his poison because she got attached to FL. But what weird was FL was kind to Crown prince at that point, and he started calling her mother empress and acted as if he accepted and then tried to poison her. So he was deposed. Maybe the drama did not want to show a child like this so they did not do the scene or may have time constraints. But yes that's what happened in the novel.
