I don't like this show more than a lot of the series you just named, but I did like the show. The reason is because I have loved MingKit for a long time, and I do not mind dysfunctional mess as I enjoyed Nitiman as well.
But if you don't love Mingkit, and you don't like dysfunctional mess, I don't recommend this to anyone. Lol. But I will be watching season 2! Hah.
Episode 0 was awesome. I hate to start pessimistic and say I really don't know if the 12 episodes can beat this one. The vibe was relaxing, subtle, and almost like that of an indie movie. I'd love it if the series kept that same energy as this special episode. I don't know how many BL series I've watched that have this vibe. Maybe Love Sick comes the closest.
Best has been in everything. Nice to see him, and Chahub is just as handsome/charismatic as Joss, Bright, Earth, Luke, and the likes. If not to tune in for the story, he is about as handsome as they get.
Newyear and Both's couple in this show is just them copy and pasted from real life, and it is so funny. Every turn of the show, I am just like, yeah.. Newyear definitely wrote this. Don't get me started on that kiss either. Y'all did not hold back AT ALL!!!
Loved it at the beginning then it disappointed me. For me this series is worse than a series that is just kind of okay all the way through. How can it go from my favorite show to absolutely sucking? I think either they should have sped up some of the events in the middle or added an extra episode or 2 to slow down the ending. Last episode was a disaster.
I like your review a lot! For me, I actually loved episode 3, but you're right that it makes no sense in overall plot and where their feelings are. On their acting, I am not that critical on acting and probably am not good at judging, so I don't agree with you all the way. I think Tenon had very good acting in particular.
Anyways, I rated this series a 4, similar to yours. The worst part of this series was the plot pacing!! You are 100% right. When did they fall for each other? Also the fighting between them was unbearable. I found they tried to drag out their kiss scene and falling in love. I found this the most boring because 1 or 2 episodes in the middle kind of felt pointless. Without Tenon and Sugus couple, those episodes would have been unwatchable.
Who ever did the script needs to get better. I blame the script the most.

The reason I say that, is I personally really liked "His" that went into the legality of the case. That is to date one of the best movies I ever saw, and this reminded of it. So I guess I expected at least a little legal explanation, but there was none.
You're right there's a lot to think about. But nothing that interested me. My view.
I have easily watched this series 10+ times... Mainly because when my anxiety gets bad, Bohn & Ben make me laugh…
Duen definitely has his faults. What I always like to say though is if Bohn wasn't into it, why did he keep pursuing Duen? Duen making Bohn jump through hoops and etc. I think this is Duen's personal choice, and Bohn could have chose to leave at any time. Obviously Bohn likes the dynamic and so does Duen, so I just call them both psychopaths.
I have searched for them extensively. Fans tried to translate them, but the author didn't like that and threatened to sue. So why doesn't she release an English trans so we can buy it?! Your guess is as good as mine....
I'm missing this show already! Can't wait for season 2.
On an off note, I find it odd on many shows that people prefer the side couples over than main couple. Sometimes the side couple is better, but for me that's like 1/10 times.

This is a good show. I don't agree with the other two comments. Is it the best? No. But there's absoluetely nothing wrong with it, and you'll probably enjoy it! There's nice chemistry.
I really liked the show, but I do not like the progression of the story. So much drama and feelings for one intense break-through scene in the last episode where they just get together. When it happens like that, it just feels like all the drama before was overexggerated/overdone if it was that easy.. Besides that, it's still a great show. I just wish they did the ending different. Make a show with that Stone guy.
