I love his characters in both Nitiman and Oxygen, but for some reason I didn't put two and two together that they're both him. Looking forward to more in the future! Him and his brother Turbo can show up in every BL for all I care.
This series is a triumph of quiet competence. Nothing flashy, just populated with cute and interesting characters.…
Right. It is amazing how likeable the characters are. They are quite the eye candy as well. For me, my favorites are Bbomb, Keam, and then Jack and Som Som. Also an honorable mention to brothers Turbo and Fourwheels.
Keam is the most loyal boyfriend ever. Every time he sees Ball, he just walks away. Lmao. He knows that Ball is way too cute for him to handle. I can't wait until something happens between them.
For Bbomb and Jin, I am pleasantly surprised they are already dating. I like this plot a lot because they still have issues to work out even though they are together, so it should be interesting. Before Bbomb, it seemed like Jin was only interested in girls, so it is interesting that they are throwing in Mark who is played by actor Boss. He played Kao in Oxygen, so whenever I see him, I am always calling him Kao. Lol.
Mark/Boss is really hot in that uniform, but that creepy horror music they had playing while he was on screen makes me feel like he is gonna be a bad character. I think he can tell that Bbomb and Jin are in a relationship, but he doesn't care because he's only concerned about himself. That makes him a pretty bad person, so I think the horror music is warranted.
Also I am rooting for Jack and Som Som. I adore Som Som, and I love how Jack is whipped for her. I would love to see her have someone that cares about her so much. Their relationship would be absolutely lovely. I cannot wait to see it!
Another thing. Bbomb is so gorgeous when he smiles!
I have enjoyed every episode. Many shows have main characters with low self-esteem, but I feel like they often belittle the main character's feelings and make them out into a loser. Maybe Pi by definition is a loser. He often blames others, runs away from things (cowardly), and people think he is lame. As the show goes on, though, Pi slowly comes to terms with himself and is actually taking responsibility. He even says in episode 11 that it is him, not others. Man, has the phrase you have to love yourself to love others ever been displayed more clearly.
I think most people do not blame Pi. Mork being the super popular and hot bachelor he is, he would never understand Pi. With that being said, he is super patient and respects Pi to a level that most relationships will never have. So even though Mork has everything, he is not arrogant. That is super impressive, but if he was going to be the right one for Pi, he needed to be that way.. or it just wouldn't work.
I like both characters and understand both. This show has kept me entertained until the end.
Update: GMMTV has uploaded it on Dailymotion! It is an official channel and everything. There is barely any views, and it has been uploaded for 2 years.
Spoilers hahaha!!! Half the interest is not knowing who he's into.
I changed it to spoiler, but I do not consider it a spoiler since they openly said it in interviews filmed before the show even started airing. But I guess most people haven't watched them.
At first I thought this pairing is so weird, but after I've seen them interact in Nitiman, I think the couple is good. About them being able to suit the roles, Kaownah has proven that he can act very well in diverse roles. He will have no problem being the over the top Ryoma. Turbo is also a very good actor. He is cute and Izumi is cute. I think this means they suit the roles.
I have watched the anime and Japanese live-action. I liked both. I will watch it again.
Bomb and Jin are obvious but can someone explain to me about the rest? I’m so confused, especially Keam. I really…
Keam ends up with Ball in the end. They have said this in interviews. It also seems there is definitely supposed to be a second season of this show, but about who he likes now.. I assume he likes Jin, but it is kind of confusing. I am not sure.
I think SomSom is such a lovely girl. Her and Jack make my heart ache. Lol. I also wonder are the only pairs Keam and Ball then Bbomb and Jin? Are none of the other guys together.. I can't decide if I would even like the other characters as pairs though. I do like friendship as well. Too many couples is messy. I will say that I love Turbo's character. How can he be so sophisticated? He gives off an excellent aura. It makes me want him to be paired with someone.
***TRIGGER WARNING***I hope viewers of this show are aware of this clip -https://twitter.com/dearbillkin/status/1399587755764502528?s=20.…
Ever since I watched this clip, I have seen the full BTS video, and I dunno. I kind of have a different perspective. I think him pushing their faces together is forceful, but he was trying to show a kissing technique where they twist their heads every few seconds. He was twisting their heads for them. He could have done it with words and not his hands. It's just the environment seemed very professional. I felt very impressed with how the director got the emotion out of the two for this scene.
I am not an actor, so I cannot say if his actions are normal or not. However, it is VERY clear to me when I watch the full clip with eng subs that the director was trying his best to teach the actors a technique. Being an actor requires putting your entire self into being another person, and I felt the director pulled it out of them so well. Saying the actors were uncomfortable.. There is no evidence of that.
He is half Lao -Vietnamese. I think his nationality is lao
Oh cool. Thanks for sharing. So his nationality is Lao, but half of his ethnicity is Vietnamese.. And the other half of his ethnicity is Thai? Is that right?
To me this one is better than other Korean BLs. I find it realistic. Other Korean BLs I have watched boggled my mind. The fact they managed to make a realistic love story in this time period without it being a tragedy is a big feat in my eyes. If somebody wants to make a big budget full-out fantasy world where guys being together in this time period is completely normal, be my guest, but that is clearly not what this show was trying to accomplish.

I don't think it's as serious as you all make it.
