I love this show. I find this show the hardest to wait for new episodes out of all the shows I'm watching! To me it's super weird people are constantly changing their thoughts on the two step-brothers. I have had no problem with their story at any point in time. Although, I do believe the beginning scene is rape. I just have seen so much and read so many weird Chinese novels that I can give it a pass because this is a story. Who is to say what can and can't be written?
What I can say is though, that Licheng and Muren are definitely my favorite. They have me busting out laughing and I'm a sucker for the cliches. The shortest 50 minutes OF MY LIFE!!

Honestly, all the other main actors in Second Chance are in Tharntype so he probably just plays a minor character in TT and didn't get credit (on MDL) like one of the ballers or something.
Also love to see Poppy from YYY this episode! I hope he appears more, and I hope he gets his own series. There are so many great BL actors! Why is there an un-ending plethora of greatness?! It's making it really hard on me. Lol. Unlike with new Kpop groups, I do not seem to get tired of new BL actors... hahahahhahah.
I LOVE this show. Oh My God. I always am hoping I will find my next Sotus i.e. series I can watch over and over because I genuinely adore and love the characters as well as their relationship. Something about the chemistry between Kao and Up is legendary to me. I love the writing and the direction and everything! The episodes are perfect for me!! I enjoy every one.
I also love Tum and Tiffy with all my heart. I secretly find Tum much more attractive than Nubsib. Broad shoulders, snatched waist, not afraid to be feminine, OKAY TUM. I SEE YOU. Tiffy is jaw-droppingly gorgeous as well.

I never took what you said as condescending! You are right that this show is too fluff for an overly serious storyline. I feel like they definitely would have to discredit this issue at least a little to make it "all better." It's just a show though.

Thanks for your concerns. I am fine though. Here comes a bit of a speech, but really it's just explaining more in detail of my personal outlook and Chol's situation as well. I do not tell a personal story. Don't worry.
Maybe I have a toxic mindset, but so many people's parents are divorced. Many people have been through much worse. I think marriage can be a beautiful thing, but it surely isn't the huge majority of the time. In the U.S. 40-50% of first time marriages fail. 2nd and 3rd time marriages fail 65-75% of the time!! Marriage is an institution made to fail. Who knows why it's that way?! Probably because people marry because they get pregnant or do it hastily without thinking. People want a family but don't have the patience to search for the right person to start it with.. or maybe the majority of humans suck at relationships? Who knows.
In Chol's situation though, the betrayal is more serious. Really no matter how much I like to downplay the world's current situation because failed marriages are so prevalent, words hurts and actions hurt. We can try to pretend certain things don't hurt us, but they do. It will not stop hurting you just because you change your mindset. So really, I am just trying to say that don't feel bad for me. Chol will have to go through things like we all do.. but really, if I was him, I'd hate all of them.
Hate fades and forgiveness comes later, but his dad so clearly betrayed the family. And at that, he is still currently betraying them. Chol's mom's death was probably a positive thing to him. When she died, Chol's dad didn't think.. "Wow. Now that this woman is gone, I really took her for granted." Instead he said "F*ck You" even in her death and took full advantage of her death to start a new family with this mistress.. Honestly, I heard that in Thailand, husbands having mistresses and sexual affairs with other women is really a common occurrence. It is seen as much more normal in Thai culture than my country the U.S. at least, and I think that that SUCKS.
Well, I will watch ep 4 once I can get my hands on the subbed 4th ep.
But up to the the 3rd ep, this is weird man. Why did they kill the guy like that? We don't even know how he died. I think the show is really good and I really enjoyed it so far. I like the mellow vibe.
I think the vampire story is interesting too, and especially the relationship between the two characters is really weird. The plot says this details marriage, there's a scene of one putting a ring on the other's ring finger and that guy has a matching ring also.. looking a lot like wedding rings, so are we supposed to believe they're married? It's just it makes no sense if they're married.
The timeline they showed in ep 3 made it seem like the two just started working together before they came to this big house and that they exchanged rings at this big beach house. Unless lots of time passed between the invitation to the house and them actually going as well as they have been at the house a long time so they just didn't show this engagement (!) scene, the order of events don't make sense to me. These two certainly don't act like a married couple. They act like two friends that have secret crushes on one another, and now one's dead so it makes less sense.

I honestly think if people overly complain about this, their expectations are way too high. Some of the plot was off and a little jumpy but nothing that ruined the show. I'm just going with it. It's easier to sit through than Cupid Coach.

On a more serious note, it seems this series is giving two (?) episodes to each couple and maybe the 15th episode will be a episode where they review all the couples like a "where are they now." OR give Yoon, Perth, and Talay 3 episodes. I'm fine with that as well.
My only concern is I really enjoyed episode 1, but if this story gets a whole 'nother hour, like, is there even an hour left of story to tell?! It'll probably be a bunch of unecessary drama.
Also, when Tue and Ake were mad at each other, their faces were the closest I have ever seen two mad people's faces before. I can just imagine the director saying, "We're gonna retake the scene, and this time I want your faces even closer! In fact, stare at his lips half the time, but still manage to make yourself seem mad.. in a very sexy way." I'm sure that's exactly what happened.
I love to see Talay. I also like that there's Japan, Chap as Tue from this ep as he is in Lovely Writer, and nice to see Nat from WHY R U as well. Lots of these actors are from WHY R U.
