Yes I don't mind! Thanks! But this list is only based on what I like...there's another voting list for Taiga drama…
Maybe you can choose either 1 without making a separate section? This list only contain dramas I watched, but voting list contain more dramas..here is the link https://kisskh.at/list/VLQmXOqL
Since you like historical maybe you want to check out Japanese Taiga drama? What I like about it is even though it's not 100% accurate as @BrightestStar has commented, the production really did cross check with historical facts, hearsay, legends, local people, whatever info they can get before presenting something about historical characters and events. At the end of each episode there will be a Travelogue to show the actual historical remains, artifacts, as well as additional info about characters that's not covered in drama. It's the only Asian drama that in my opinion falls under historical genre according to your definition above.
HI there Chiha pointed me to your "beautiful list where [...]" you "rank taiga drama" - she did so because I could…

Oh no!!! I'm sorry about that! Yeah I saw the tag there (cos I put the 'taiga' in the tag/theme search filter).…
LoL no problem it's just a small matter!! :)
PS: I don't consider myself real dorama lover but more of selective dorama lover...lol Because I don't watch all dramas but I know what I want and most of them just coincidentally happened to be Japanese...haha
Thanks for compiling and writing this article! Just a note though that Sanada Taiheiki is not a Taiga Drama, but somebody has mistakenly tagged it as that.
What is the focus of the drama? The kids learning? The teacher methods? Or is it something else? You haven't seen…
As of episode2, the focus is more on Inoue Mao and Yagira Yuya characters...less on study method but more on how to be good/profitable Juku teacher...so far it looks like the typical episodic Jdrama
..just watch the episode 2 or rather the 2nd part from the start is says a "special drama" so I thought it's a…
Unfortunately it only has 2 episodes/parts... I guess the preview after the ending credit is the special for HULU only...it looks like the spin-off or side story of Goto-kun plus interviews and NG scene...
Not bad drama... I guess you can consider this as family fluffy? Nothing too deep but you will enjoy this show because of them becoming family and trying to support each other.
For non baseball fan, this is no more than your typical episodic Jdrama mixed up with some magics and life solutions. Few of the problems felt too trivial to be solved using such exaggeration. However some of the problems were really good especially the final one. Not the best episodic-life-lesson drama, but the production is good and it has OP and ED songs by CreepHyp...furthermore it's short 24minutes per episode. It will worth your watching time.
