I only realized that there were 2 specials...I only watched 1 of the specials but not sure which one as the synopsis sounded almost the same...๐๐
My favorite from the list is Oguri Shun...because he is the kind of actor that's willing to pick up any roles and doesn't stuck with 1 type of image...
Other than that, Fukushi Sota and Sato Takeru are both having greater potential but they are not my favorite because they always portray the same image (even with different roles)
Not listed but worth to be checked out by anyone who's new to Jdrama: Suda Masaki, Kamiki Ryunosuke, Takeuchi Ryoma
I gave it 8.5 for entertainment value. It is kind of movie that makes you feel worth the money after leaving the cinema even though the story was straightforward and a bit predictable. The amount of action and emotion it offered was enough for anyone to enjoy it.
**Side Note** Might not suitable for those who don't like romanticism of bad guy....although I personally think it was done in a fair manner without overly boasting on the crime they did...it's simply the POV of a yakuza and the people alike
Highly recommended drama! I also made a compilation of the hidden ใใฎใใฉใใฏใใฃใฏใทใงใณใงใ if anyone interested. Please do not open the link if you haven't watched this drama yet. https://kisskh.at/profile/TimiZero/feeds/jwA8osj
Kinda weird there was romance. I mean if there isn't any there is not much difference in the plot . There was…
My take on the kiss scene
Before the kiss (when Ryuji was still not in the room)...Kurumi saw the career path form where Ryuji wrote Surgeon as his choice...then we have that flashback of Kurumi parodying DoctorX...which means she too wants to become surgeon....
Having one sided feeling (or even if they got into relationship) will interfere with her considering Ryuji will also be in the same department...so she decided to move on thus the goodbye kiss
Overall a nice career-centered drama. It's a mix of comedy, life and character growth. The vibe of the drama was mostly easy-going it could be easily mistaken as a lame comedy show especially during the first few episodes....but at times it really tackled the life-related matter masterfully. There were also some good quotes throughput the drama that could give inspiration to those who just started their career (not only in medical field).
On the downside, the drama didn't focus that much on other interns except the main character (Alan). Some of the plots also need to be interpreted by viewers themself as the writer left it hanging without more explanation.
Disappointed with the fact that the drama didn't explore the 5 Meter Radius concept it's been selling...at the end of the day I was left clueless by the metaphor...they could've simply gave a more bland title like "Fumin the Reporter with her Colleagues and Boyfriend" since that is what the drama is all about in a nutshell
Pity Yua....her character was left out unresolved at the end...I wonder how long she will serve her time in prison...lucky she's in Japan so killing someone for the first time won't be given death sentence...or maybe I am wrong?
This drama is a worth watch! Besides hikikomori, it also focus on truancy problem around middle school students which often been neglected by adults. Too bad it only has 5 episodes. 8.5/10
Wow what a surprise...I wasn't sure whether to watch this or not worrying it would be repetitive but I was totally wrong!! I'm glad i did watch this! This season is refreshing despite being a school drama...maybe because of that TBS business drama style? IDK....but I must say it's so addictive you couldn't resist to watch all episodes in one go And I think it is also watchable even if you have not seen the first season 8.5/10 for me
Great finale for an amazing sequel. I know it's easy to say the OG cast/drama was great and all because of nostalgia…
Yeah me too...I like this season better than the first. 1. We could see more of the "bike gang" side of Sakuragi Sensei 2. The story feels less formulaic/episodic thanks to the TBS Ikeido Jun's business drama style of production 3. Some kickass action during the first episode 4. Very addictive where you would feel like want to watch next episode immediately
I can't believe I liked this season more than the first. It has more dramas and the actresses were more daring in this one....Portrayal of Muranishi's character was also interesting...he surely has some sort of personality disorder apart from being an hypersexual....other characters were also interesting especially Toshi which is the MVP of this season I just wish the OST have more Japanese language songs though...I hate it when netflix series tried to westernized Japan so much 9/10
I will be honest here, this drama didn't work for me... If there's textbook of writing jdrama, this is religiously following it...nothing new or exceptional other than it focused on judges working environment...the rest are the good old cliches....even the BGM sounds generic...LoL
I don't want to comment about legal system especially Japan's legal system, but I think this could've worked if written in the POV of police, prosecutor or defense lawyer instead...or maybe it needs more "X factors" other than the usual eccentric guy cliche
However, the acting was not so bad...i think all actors did their best and some guest actors did change the vibe especially Bakarhythm and that V-cinema Ossan (ep10)....so in all fairness I think it deserved 7/10
PS: To avoid misunderstanding, I must say that I do appreciate the person who translated this drama...your work is great especially when dealing with many legal terms....so thanks again for the hard work!!
The movie is missing a lot..It felt like it was made for a tribute instead of a new adaptation....all characters were underdeveloped thanks to short 2 hours movie duration and viewers who did not watch anime will have no clue on the characters individualistic....I imagine it would feel like watching a group of school boy join bicycle club and participate in tournament...LoL
And yet even if you have watched the anime you would still feel disappointed with the movie, because it has lost the original spirit...and in my opinion Nagase Ren did nothing great in this to earned him the award...what he did was basically imitate Onoda's voice and some facial expression...he was a tone deaf too (not sure if that was intentional, although the anime's Onoda was not)
I still like the old Rika better no matter how good Ishibashi's acting is...I think her portrayal of Rika was…
Don't worry about it, that was just me...more of like personality of old Rika is what would attract me in real life...haha...I guess IRL many men (with exception of course) wouldn't dare to get close to the new Rika...she's not the type men would sexually harass/assault...if you know what I mean...this is totally opposite to the Suzuki Honami's Rika character...which was easily attract men but at the same time dangerous on the inside once men got to know her
Other than that, Fukushi Sota and Sato Takeru are both having greater potential but they are not my favorite because they always portray the same image (even with different roles)
