Exactly, that part in the flashback when he said if not for the HPS, he wouldnt need her at all, he low key looked…
I knew it. HMH acted that scene very well even in EP 3 I was convinced he was playing her and that her compassion didn't reall put a dent in his armor. I always found it strange how he said he survived to meet her right to her ear like he was trying to seduce her so quickly. It seemed very calculated. But I have to confess I was surprised that he tried to take the scale again because that would have killed her. So he was really lying when he said he didn't intend to take the HPS away from her or that he never intended to kill her. He fully intended to kill her and never wanted to give her the time to find a way to live without the HPS as he promised. And also in the cave I really think it didn't matter to him if she had died from the stabbing. It's pretty chilling. So he really was blinded by hatred and she was just a hateful Taoist to him that disgusted him although she was pretty fair to him from the start. I think she was so understanding of his situation that he really thought she would easily forgive him the 3rd time he did it. He was still disregarding her at that point even though he gave the stars. I hope we find out when exactly he started to love her. Because I think for him it went from hatred to gratitute and guilt first for a long time. I don't know if he gave her the stars out of guilt or love. Even the first couple of times he saved her probably were only motivated by his need for her help not out of concern for her life. I really want to know when her live started to matter to him.
One thing I didn't understand in EP 36 from her explanation of the past is when she said she knew he wanted to kill her all along and went with it because she liked him. So did she fall in love in the village already? She then said she hated him at the time. I'm confused.
I thought she pitied him nothing more and sensed he was dangerous. I don't think she fully appreciated just how dangerous he was or she would not have led her guard down so early. I also never got the impression that she hated him at any point, but sensed that it was safer for herself to get rid of him. I also want to know what he thought when she was under the love potions influence. Was he annoyed or did he think it was conveniend to manipulate her more easily? I really really want to see more of his perspective in the past and which of his actions where calculated.
SHOOOOOO CUTEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I'm loving the difference between the innocent dragon vs the betrayed-battered-and-feeling-guilty…
Agree it also gives us a glimpse of how he used to be before the betrayal and shows that this naivete which is cute was also dangerous and led to his downfall when SJ abused his trust. He is so pure. I am glad he has someone like YH now.
I guess TY still has his flame sword is bc he still has teeth
I was suprised too...I thought it had dissapeared in the Lava. Also it seems to me quit a few scenes were cut since Baby TY also complained of shifu hitting him when I don't think we saw him doing that.
In the novel they were lovers in the past. But he led a new live when he reincarnated and loved his fox wife.…
She killed his wife...and also imprisoned him against his will...I think that is enough. Even if she was nicer in his past live which I doubt she certainly showed her true colors in his second life when she didn't respect his choices.
Lol. I still remember, the ending of LBFD was so rushed that I was like, did he actually come back or did orchid…
I am still waiting for an explanation how he could return despite is primordial spirit being destroyed. And how was he killable in the first place in EP 1 they said it was impossible....it was quite contradictory. Also I needed to see him be awesome again with his new glazed fire powers and I wanted to see orchid recover he sense of humor and levity again.😭😭
It totally is. I don't think the CGI is that bad exept for the monsters which look very weird and not really fitting…
The novel has a happy ending. Since the ending trailer shows a white haired TY I am guessing the drama ends happy as well, but I cannot say for certain until next monday.
Chinese fans also ask the same question Lol ! All dramas just end in reunion scene, which is not so satisfactory.…
I really need to see TY give in to his passion for YH just once...not just polite affection and self sacrifice...I thought dragons were supposed to be firey! Thats why I love our milk dragon 🐉 he shows his affection much more clearly. Also Book TY did loose control once or twice so I'm still hoping.
Nah, i decide not to watch the trailer base upon comments in this site, i just want to prolong this happy feeling…
I wish I had you strength but once I know the trailers are out there I cannot control myself. I think I am never going to watch a Youku drama again while it is airing. Its pure torture.😭
If we don't get at least 30 min of happily ever after and with just the Main Leads and a dragon baby in EP 40 Youku is dead to me. 5 seconds of happiness like in LBFD is unacceptable for this drama. LBFD at least gave us married life in a dream. Why do chinese Dramas these days rush their endings so or need to leave the ending sad or open even if 98% of the drama was on the comedic side?
Does anyone know about the back story on mushang coz I've seen in the drama he met her etc. But did he actually…
In the novel they were lovers in the past. But he led a new live when he reincarnated and loved his fox wife. Even though he had his memories of the past he did not want to return to SY but he hid that he remembered from her. He was mortal and wanted to die like in the drama but SY just wouldn't let him keeping him by any means possible. He dies in the novel even though in the final fight SY tries to revive him again but fails.
Its waaaaay better. I couldn't finish it. TTEOM was wasting the talent of the MLs. The FL character was just obnoxious and her actions almost single handedly brought about tragedy. The ML never would have been a threat had he been treated like a human being. It reminded me of Moon Lovers Scarlet heart were the FL also always assumed the worst of the ML and ultimately forced him into a corner where he had no choice but to become what she feared. A complete self fulfilling prophecy. And I didn't buy their lovestory either, she treated him too badly for that. The makeup was also pretty bad. If only BFTB had the same passionate kiss scenes as TTEOM....thats one of the few things that BFTB could improve on.
i'm on ep4 now..man, the CGI is horrendous but the story is kinda nice.. Will carry on watching, I hope it's worth…
It totally is. I don't think the CGI is that bad exept for the monsters which look very weird and not really fitting the life action look. But I do like the concept that demons have different grades of developing their human form probably in accordance with how far along they are in their cultivation. So far this year besides BFTB I only loved TSL but my addiction level with BFTB is much higher. Overall I don't think you will be disappointed.
Did TY imprint on YH when he hatched from the egg?
He trusts her so fast and had no problems hearing he is married to her. He has no memories of their past so even if he trusted her because she takes care of him hearing he was her lover and the expectations that come with it wouldn't that make him uncomfortable? Because the reborn TY is his own person as of now. If I was YH I would not have told him that she is his wife and instead let him diacover for himself whether she is important to him or not. But baby TY seems to not question any of it and seems totally fine with it like he is in love with her from the first moment. I think that is very unusual especially for the memory loss trope. So did his love never die even though he cannot remember or is he a baby duck that imprinted on the first person he saw? I wonder if we will get an answer.🤔 Also those flash backs and how he reacted to the vows, does he remember bits and pieces?
That being said I loved their interactions and couldn't stop smiling. And just as Wang Hedi proved his acting skills as Xiao Lanhua Hou Minghao proved he can act with his milk dragon. How can the eyes and vibe of a guy be so different?😳
I think they used double eyelid glue or tape. His upper crease looks slightly different than before and his eyes seem more open at the inner corner. Just makeup cant change the shape like that.
Can someone explain the following to me? How did the logistics of the swapping spell work? Last time the live swapping spell was activated TY looked like his life force was draining out of him and transfering to YH. But this time we saw nothing of that also how could his Soul or spirit manifest like that and physically take her away and even break her chains and the death formation. Also even if his life swapping saves her in the moment of death caused by the formation how can she survive after his heart protection scale no longer works? We know from SY that once he is dead the magical powers of his body parts dissapear too. So even if he saved YH from the death formation the moment he dies shouldn't her defective heart act up again and lead to her death? Or does the spell not only transfer his life but also his health and immortality to her? As beautiful as the scene before he vanished was, it makes little sense to me because he looked really solid like his body was there. And did YH see his memories with her or was she hallucinating or just remembering? I'm so confused.
Most of his dialogue is his gaze.. he is literally acting by how he looks at people ..and he does it so freakin…
No I agree, he needed to learn not to take her for granted. Tough I don't really get why he took so long...was't he aware of his feelings for her the moment he gave her the 9 stars? I mean one doesn't just give up ones life because of guilt right? But I noticed that TY doesn't seem to register that as much as he wants YH to live she wants the same for him. He always seems suprised when she refuses his stuff and instead makes it clear she is in it for him and not the things he can give her.
