Unless the ultimate goal for the writer is how to deal with the grief of losing child and forgiveness.

The plan to seduce the Chairman was always very weak and now they need the enemy's daughter, Soo Jung, to save it🙆‍♀️. This is the best Stella could come up with after nearly 30 years? On top of that, Stella is working under the assumption that Kyung Chae knows about her son's accident. I wonder how Stella will find out the truth- Kyung Chae is very guarded.

Seon Jae should just give up- he is competing with a dead guy whom Kyung Chae still very much has feelings for.

So we got two confirmations today- Seon Jae is indeed Mi So's Dad, and they all but confirmed that Se Ri is Stella's granddaughter. Stella will shield Se Ri and Seol Hui will be forced to forgive her in the end. Stella might also feel grateful towards Kyung Chae for actually keeping the baby. And Se Ri won't want Kyung Chae to get hurt so she might beg Stella to protect her too.

This will be the ultimate test to Lucia and Stella's relationship. I forsee Stella giving Lucia some of her businesses and moving to the US with Se Ri in the end.

Finding Se Ri might signal the end of Stella's revenge. She might just call it off.

Poor Tae Gyeong is falling more and more in love with each episode. He will be heartbroken to learn that Lucia is chasing the Chairman.

Lucia needed to take a day off to recover from her confrontation with Seon Jae?🙆‍♀️🤦. Not a good sign.

Did the Chairman actually have Stella's son killed? According to the preview, Kyung Chae does not know that her ex is dead and the Chairman wants to keep it that way. So he might give in to her demands- so marrying into the family might not give Lucia and Stella the result they are looking for.

I find it strange that Stella never discussed her son's death with Lucia. What were they talking about for four years?

So Seon Jae is now certain that Lucia is Seol Hui. What will he do with that information? It implicates him too. At this point, Lucia should get pepper spray just for Seon Jae🤦‍♀️.
Lucia is not 100% ready for this revenge. The pain is still so raw but maybe that's a good thing.

The poster Yeon Ah gave Manager Gong is going to be a problem- for both Lucia and Seon Jae. Kyung Chae will find the poster and remember Seol Hui and try to prove her identity. For Seon Jae, the poster is proof that he was suspicious but never told Kyung Chae the real reason why. He will lose more of her trust, if that is possible. And I hope that when confronted with the poster by Kyung Chae and Seon Jae, Lucia will tell Kyung Chae that Seon Jae said she looked like someone he used to love. He will lose more points again with Kyung Chae because he told her that he never knew Seol Hui.

It will be interesting to see how Lucia will explain away the poster. She really should have contacted her sister upon arrival. Maybe she is afraid that her sister will dissuade her from pursuing revenge.

Yes- Stella- it is really starting to seem like she is weaponising Seol Hui's guilt. Am starting to wonder if she really cares for her. Also, if Se Ri is her granddaughter- she will definitely do all she can to protect her.

This makjang relies too much on coincidences. What would have happened if the Chairman had minded his own business and ignored Lucia's phone? Why didn't they just send the video anonymously to the Chairman's phone or e-mail?

I thought Stella told Lucia everything about her son and his involvement with Kyung Chae. She doesn't know? How has she explained knowing so much about the Chairman?

I was thinking that maybe she becomes her Mom by marrying the Chairman. Maybe during this time, she will start getting close to her, with the Chairman's approval, and 'save' her from the scam.

That slap was well-deserved. I cannot fault Kyung Chae for that one- Lucia has become quite emboldened and she is seducing her father.

I laughed when Soo Jung told Ji Seop that if he had a conscience, he would halve his salary 🤣. Then he responded that he lost his conscience a long time ago 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. That is very true.

Is Seon Jae serious? Kyung Chae and Tae Gyeong are business partners so they can meet at any time and not everything involves legal. He is a crazy one- Tae Gyeong should have told him that Kyung Chae asked him out for a meal🤣. He would have lost his mind. Kyung Chae even told him that he does not need him 🤦🏽‍♀️. Nobody likes a desperate person.

For once, Seon Jae was left speechless after seeing the Chairman with Lucia😂. Now if he tries anything shady, he could lose his job.

They seem to be laying more groundwork for Se Ri's redemption- when Tae Joo told Stella that no one in the family seems to care about Se Ri.

Stella is starting to bother me a bit- she seems to just sit and give instructions. What else is she planning to do to get actively involved? Lucia and Tae Joo are now doing all the work. So what was her revenge plan after plotting for nearly 20 years? What would have happened if she had not come across Seol Hui? That's why she told Tae Joo that she could not leave for the U.S. without Seol Hui, four years ago. It feels like she is weaponising Seol Hui's grief. I wonder if this will become an issue in the future🤔 .

🤣🤣 I wondered too- I think Lucia probably knew she was being followed- she likely expected it and Tae Joo must have followed Seon Jae while he was following Lucia. So the Lucia and Tae Joo must have anticipated that something would happen once Seon Jae told Kyung Chae in the morning so Lucia made sure she was in a public place when Seon Jae was seen getting into Kyung Chae's office. The Chairman just happened to call at that time.

I think you hit the nail on the head- Lucia wears her grief and the actress is doing a good job of showing it. We have seen her be incredibly happy, without a care in the world, and now we are seeing her grieve.

Stella has had 20 years to grieve and heal while Seol Hui has only had 4 years. We will see Lucia get her joy back in the future- then she can shed her Lucia persona and go back to being Madame Baek.

This is why I felt Stella should have been the one to seduce the Chairman- she is naturally flirty and they are around the same age so no one would have suspected her of anything nefarious- just a retired old lady looking for companionship- it would have been such a great plan- they would have let a snake into their home without knowing it. The only reason they have Lucia doing it is because she is the female lead but she is facing so many obstacles already. Stella would have had the Chairman wrapped around the finger and she would not have needed stories about fate to do it. Lucia is really coming on strong and it feels so unnatural- her desperation is showing. I find it interesting that after 30 episodes- Stella and the Chairman have not even had a conversation or even a greeting. The writers might have done this intentionally because Stella and the Chairman likely have a lot of chemistry and we, as the viewers, will start to question why Lucia is the one seducing the Chairman.

On the other hand- the actress playing Lucia might simply be showing Lucia's different emotions and stages of life and she doing a good job of that. For example, in the recent flashback of Seon Jae and Seol Hui- she was very happy and flirty and excited for the future- compared to now where she is wearing her grief. Her interactions with the Chairman seem unnatural because she is disgusted by him and does not want to be involved with him but she is forced to do it for her revenge. So in this regard- she is showing two opposite sides of Seol Hui and I think she is doing an incredible job of that. Then when she is with Tae Gyeong, she seems to soften a bit, the way Kyung Chae does. And I think we will see her soften even more when she is finally reunited with her sister.

I don't think Tae Gyeong knows Lucia is Seol Hui yet but she very likely remembers that she hit him with her scooter and looked after him in hospital.

Seon Jae is not being really wise- he forgets that he lied- and this will only increase Kyung Chae's distrust of him.

I hope Lucia won't use Tae Gyeong to make the Chairman jealous.
Tae Gyeong has already started catching feelings, and the Chairman really dislikes him.

Since Seon Jae and and Kyung Chae have observed that Tae Gyeong and Lucia are getting close, Lucia might be accused of leading on two men- it will be extra messy if Kyung Chae has romantic feelings for Tae Gyeong- they might fight over him too. Either way, the Chairman will refuse to lose Lucia to Tae Gyeong.

Can Ji Seop get any more entitled? At least his sisters work hard.

Lucia was laying it on really thick with the Chairman- crying and talking about praying. Sometimes less is more.

A part of me is wondering if Seon Jae is sabotaging Tae Gyeong's contracts with the suppliers to get him fired. Can he not see that Kyung Chae won't let Tae Gyeong go so easily?

Also, when Seon Jae texted Lucia to meet on the rooftop, why didn't she ask to meet in the staff room instead? When she and Tae Gyeong were coming out of their secret meeting place, Kyung Chae asked why the couldn't meet in the staff room. Lucia should really stop giving into Seon Jae's demands.
That being said- Seon Jae and Seol Hui did make a really cute couple in the past.

It's really cruel of Seol Hui to not even contact Yeon Ha to say she is ok.

Where did Seol Hui get Mi So's uniform? Did she store it somewhere while she was delirious with grief?

I think the character is married. His wife is in the hospital. When Tae Gyeong was with his son, the CEO asked if he had come back from visiting his mother in the hospital.

I don't understand how Kyung Chae can be so intelligent and gullible at the same time. Seon Jae told her that he suspects that Lucia sabotaged the deal and she believed him- with no evidence whatsoever. Is she determined to sabotage her relationships? Of course, now Lucia has not helped matters by failing to alert the family that their Dad collapsed so now she has another target on her back. The only one who can save her is the Chairman- she can get his protection. Things are about to get messy- I will not be surprised if his kids try to have declare him mentally incompetent if he starts dating Lucia- so they can gain control of the company.

Why do Soo Jung and Ji Seop need Kyung Chae's permission to go to the hospital? And Kyung Chae wants to go as a representative? He is not some random businessman- he is their father 🤦🏽‍♀️. I think Soo Jung might be the only one who genuinely cares for the Chairman- she even left a report on his desk as if everything is normal. I really feel sorry for her- her position as the mistress's daughter means everything is harder for her- she has to work twice as hard- which is why she is so desperate for allies. She has no one, right now. She needs to change her approach.

Is it just me or does Ji Seop seem more like he is his father-in-law's son than the Chairman's 😂. They are both shady and slimy 😂. I can't believe I actually felt sorry for him when the show started because he was working in the supermarket. He only has two good traits right now- he is a loyal husband and he gets along with his in-laws.

Where's Tae Joo? We have not seen him in the last 2-3 episodes.

I like the owner of the smaller company. So Tae Gyeong advised him not to sign any deal with Mingang but did not offer to help him look for alternatives to pay off his debt? That was weird. I wonder if he now knows that he made a deal with Stella.

She saved him because she wants to use him as her tool for revenge and because she wants him to pay for his crimes. She told Stella that she could have walked away but he is not the only target of her revenge plan. If he were, she could have just left him to die.

Kyung Chae is already suspicious of Lucia- this just fuels her suspicion. Like she told Ji Seop, there were no cameras in the stairwell so it's pointless to make accusations. Lucia is also technically her funder- so upsetting her and Stella would not be a good idea. She is also more worried about how her Dad will reward Lucia for saving him.

It was so wrong of Lucia not to call them. They needed to be there- what if he had died and they did not get a chance to say goodbye? Yes- they are the enemy but Soo Jung and Ji Seop don't have much to do with Mi So's death.
