It is a double-edged sword. If Taegeong failed to produce a profit with the online business, he has to leave Mingang.…
You said it well- a double-edged sword. But he is sabotaging his own career, as well. I don't think he thought past the point of the driver confessing that the Chairman ordered the death of his parents- so he really has no plan. All he is giving us is anger and those pensive looks. He has really underestimated his enemy- even after working with them for four years. He needs help- a lot of help.
I think hearing what happened to Mi So will help to understand just how serious the situation is.

Will Lucia suggest to Kyung Chae that Se Ri should intern at the company? She did say she would meet her soon 🤔.
This is one of the reasons I worried about Mi So being killed off. Se Ri has no scene partner and is usually by herself or with the adults. Could they bring back Mi So's bestie to avenge her too or even the girl who was imprisoned on her behalf?

Looks like Tae Gyeong has really been working on his own and he even signed a contract that will cost him a lot of money if he fails to make the online platform successful. So did the online platform just fail because the market was bad? Without sabotage on his end? Seems to be the case because Kyung Chae's sole focus has been that platform- she would not have let it fail unless there were extenuating circumstances.

However, I am really glad that Tae Gyeong stood his ground with the Chairman and refused to carry out his orders. He has shown the Chairman that he is not a yes man like Seon Jae and he might just earn the Chairman's respect through that. Unfortunately, from the preview, it looks like Kyung Chae will force him to do it. Maybe Lucia and Stella can help save that small company.

I am getting suspicious of House manager Gong and Yeon Ha- could they be mother and daughter? I can see Gong giving up her daughter so she can continue working for the family.

That was 4 years of preparation… Ms Jang should have had Lucia walk by and stare up at the building for weeks…
I don't think anyone could have predicted she would go up there- it's perfectly normal. I think it's a good thing- it shows us that her heart has not been hardened by revenge and I think we will see many more cracks in her facade in the future. I also think there will be many wins and losses in this revenge.

Also- she has only had four years, Stella has had 20 years to steel her heart.

Sujeong is so laughable whenever she tried to get an employee to snitch on Gyeongchae. She was shown doing it…
Su Jeong lacks tact. You don't ask someone to be your spy within five minute of meeting them. She does not even know anything about Lucia- she could be an enemy but she does not care. I think it points to her upbringing. She was not raised by the Chairman but by her mother, and I think she portrays that quite well.
At least it gives Seol Hui some insight into just how messy rich families can be.

My thoughts were the same as yours. How could Stella allow Taejoo (who calls her 'mother') to carry out such a…
To the world and the other relatives, he has presented her as his daughter. It must be a plan he and Kyung Chae came up with to hide her true parentage. But he does not see her as a daughter. Remember at dinner one night, he kept complaining about his three kids and Ji Seop kept having to remind him that he has four kids.
He also had to remind Kyung Chae not to be so affectionate towards her so people don't suspect that she might actually be Se Ri's parent and not him.
Even Seon Jae is suspicious.

The Chairman knows exactly who Se Ri is- he would have never allowed her to use his name, or move in, otherwise. Let alone agree to pretend to be her dad.

No worries😂.
Yes, the Chairman knows that Se Ri is his granddaughter- he would have never taken in a stranger or given her his name. He was probably even paying the nannies who were taking care of her before she moved into the house. Kyung Chae must have struck some kind of deal with him.

Kyung Chae might be in jail by then and Se Ri is now an adult so she can't stop them.

Yes, Se Ri needs to be taught a lesson but hers is tricky because she is still kind of like a child. Remember Cinderella Game? How Se Young was redeemed- she didn't even pay for any of her actions- a whole 32-year old whom they claimed was brainwashed so she could not be responsible for her actions. What more a 20 year old Se Ri, in this case?

It's interesting how the Chairman said that Kyung Chae's Mom coddled her the same way Kyung Chae is coddling Se Ri.

I just had a wild makjang theory, which I know will NEVER happen but I will just put it out there:
What if Mi So and Se Ri were switched at birth? A 20-year old pregnant Kyung Chae would have returned from the US. Her father would have refused to help her because of the family's reputation, forcing her to give birth in a small hospital. Seol Hui would also give birth in that hospital. Both births premature. The nurses could have accidentally switched their names. Even though Mi So's death devastated Seol Hui, Kyung Chae would be equally devastated to realise that she caused the death of her biological daughter. She will lose Se Ri too. The ultimate revenge.

Anyway, I'm sure it won't happen because it will just ruin the story and Mi So's memory, and it will rob Stella of a grandchild if her son is the father of Kyung Chae's child. Having her grieve twice would be too cruel. Also, we will need to have the conflict that will arise between Seol Hui and Stella over Se Ri- that will make for a great story.

She will stick with her blood- she has to and it would be disappointing if she didn't. Se Ri might be the last connection she has to her son so she will want to save her. She will argue that Se Ri is the way she is because she lacked love and things might have been different if she was the one who raised her. So she will want to try to 'fix' Se Ri. I won't be surprised if Stella kneels before Seol Hui, begging for her to forgive Se Ri. I also won't be surprised if she does forgive, on the condition that Stella leaves with her and takes her to the US so she does not have to see her again.
This might mark the end of Stella's relationship with both Seol Hui and Tae Joo.

I don't know if Stella feels genuine affection for Seol Hui and Tae Joo or are they just pawns for her revenge? Remember when she told Tae Joo that she had to take Seol Hui with them to the US, no matter what. Maybe in plotting her revenge for twenty years, Stella might be slowly becoming like her enemies.

So Tae Gyeong came back to town after 25 years and his only plan for revenge was to get a confession from the driver who killed his parents? And this is still the plan four years later? He has not even made an effort to make the online business a success, potentially ruining his reputation. Maybe he thought he would not have to stay there for long while he waited for the driver to wake up and it ended up being four years and it's too late? First rule of revenge- make sure you don't go down too. It also does not make sense because he made a deal with Kyung Chae about getting access to confidential company information after the business has been successful for four years. Why did he abandon this deal? Because of Stella? Is she behind this new plan?
Tae Gyeong and Seol Hui clearly need Stella to guide them.

The writers are clearly using the failed business as a plot point to bring Seol Hui close to Tae Gyeong. She will likely work from his office and help with the business. If we are going according to her definition of fate- they met for the first time, by accident, when she hit him with her scooter; the second time, coincidentally, outside the hotel; and thirdly, they will meet at Mingang. If he is working with Stella, I wonder if she told her about him or will she be surprised to see him there? Or maybe she came across him during her investigation of the company.

In the preview, Kyung Chae told her Dad that she came back from the US because he promised her the company. She might have met Stella's son there and maybe she came back pregnant?
Kyung Chae seems to have a soft spot for Tae Gyeong which seems to go beyond an attraction. Did she know him in the US? Or was he a friend of Stella's son?

I can't believe that Kyung Chae actually talked about how everything she does is lawful and complained how fake news can get people killed. No conscience, at all.

Interesting fact: the Chairman's deceased wife's surname is Jung. Is this why Stella gave Seol Hui the name, Lucia Jung?

It is expected that Seonjae will be the first one to recognise her. I think she will lie through her teeth and…
Judging from the smile she had on her face when she turned to face him, I think she wanted Seon Jae to recognise her- which may be one of the reasons why she only had a mini-makeover. Obviously, she will deny being Seol Hui for a while, but I think she wanted to show him that she has achieved the level of success that he has been trying to achieve for 20 years, in four years. A good first round of revenge for him.

I think the second person to recognise her will be Tae Gyeog. He might blurt out, "Mi So's Mom", when he sees her, causing her mask to fall partially. But I also think he might recognise her and not say anything and play along until she is ready to reveal herself. They might end up sharing an office and she will assist with the online platform. His office is perfect because it is close to Soo Jung and Ji Seop so she can get close to them.

Tae-Kyung is probably making the company fail on purpose, so Stella can swoop in and save it (and maybe take over?)
I think his credentials are legit. He probably just does not want to contribute to the company's success or maybe he is working with Stella and trying to get her into the company, financially. I don't think it's a coincidence that Stella came back to town when she did, when Kyung Chae is in desperate need of funds, and with the Chairman threatening to dethrone her. And how did the information about the failing division spread so widely? But that could have been Soo Jung who did that.

But if he is working with Stella, why not tell her about the company the Chairman is trying to steal from🤔?

what type of revenge is it to be a dissapointment at your job Tae Gyeong is quite useless they paid so much to…
It has been really disappointing. I feel bad for his team- he should have at least tried. He insisted on putting his own team together- maybe they are in on it. They seem to really like him. I don't think his credentials are fake, though. He knows what he is doing- he does not want to contribute to Mingang's success, I guess.

🤣🤣 Highly unlikely. I doubt Se Ri even remembers what Mi So looked like. Such is the nature of bullies.

The lawyer rat bastard is the most likely to recognize her.
Definitely. Even though he blames her for ruining things between him and Kyung Chae, he might keep her secret. It's not like Kyung Chae has done anything for him. He might want in on the action. Like the Chairman said, Seon Jae is only loyal to whatever benefits him.

Tae Gyeong couldn't even try to make the business a success? What kind of revenge plan is that, especially when the confidential Min family information is at stake? Unless he is working with Stella. Maybe he is sabotaging the business so she can invest and save it? It's a good plan but risky with Seon Jae sniffing around. The only way to get back into Kyung Chae's good graces is to find an investor (Stella), himself, and bring them to Kyung Chae. And Kyung Chae and Stella 'conveniently' already know each other.

Does the Chairman have cancer? That would be an interesting twist- changed will where he disowns his family for new wife and dies. I want him to live- he has to see his life's work go down.

Se Ri has not changed at all. She might even be more dangerous now that she's an adult.

I am not yet feeling the seduce the Chairman storyline- it seems weak right now. But it's only been one episode- maybe it will improve. It would be great to know what other plans they have going on in the background. Hopefully, they are stronger plans.
I think Stella would have done a much better job with the 'first' meeting with the Chairman. She is bubbly, flirty, and has charisma, which would have hooked the Chairman immediately. He would have even asked for her number.

I'm sad that Seol Hui did not reach out to Yeon Ha in four years. That is sad and now Seol Hui has even adopted a Mom in Stella. Worse still, Yeon Ha serves the Mins. But it could work to their advantage because she can hear family gossip.

Su Jeong seems to have matured. I thought after four years, she and Seon Jae might be in some kind of secret relationship but she definitely hates him. It will be interesting to see how her character continues to develop.

For someone who is supposed to be 69, Stella looks younger than she was four years ago 🤭.

I think we all already know who's going to fund Gyeong Chae's work. The only thing that makes no sense to me is…
Bathed and combed her hair 🤣🤣. I don't think she even dyed her hair. But she does have a different look about her- a wealthy look. But she doesn't have that killer instinct or ruthless look. Stella has that look- she can go from smiling to ruthless in a minute.

I also think Stella will fund the business. So has Tae Gyeong been making it fail on purpose so Stella can swoop in? Have they been working together all along? A major risk- he might be fired now that Kyung Chae is suspicious.

the new look is promising , i believe her attitude is also changed !
Very true.
I was thinking that maybe the lack of an 'extreme' physical change might be symbolic- while she is determined to get revenge, she, as a person, has not completely changed, and is leaving the door open to return from the 'dark' side. Stella has lived and breathed revenge for 20 years. Seol Hui has been plotting for four years and is also a pawn in Stella's revenge. I wonder how it will all play out, especially when unexpected variables like Tae Gyeong enter the picture.

what specifically made you suspect he is Se Ri dad... ?
He died 16 years ago (now 20 years after the time jump) and Stella said he trusted the wrong people while looking at a picture of Kyung Chae. Se Ri happens to be 16 (now 20). Stella also wants to take revenge on the Min family, especially the Chairman and Kyung Chae.

This is what I thought too: she will try to seduce the Chairman in secret and when he will introduce her to the…
I think, physically, this is the full extent of her changes. What has changed more is her attitude.
So maybe the seduction is meant to be a short-term plan for a greater chess move. Maybe it is to get the Chairman and the company to sign a deal which they cannot easily get out of, which also ensures that they don't try to kill her after the truth is revealed.
