First time I ever got all the answers right 😅

I’m gonna be honest (don’t attack me): I usually can’t stand Chen Zhe Yuan and don’t watch his shows (he’s just not my type). Call me shallow but I’m not gonna waste my time watching a drama if I don’t like the way the leads look (even if they’re good actors) because there’s just so many shows out there to choose from, I can watch something else. But I started watching this for Li Qin … and I’m getting so converted… I guess I never saw him in a historical before, and he’s just so beautiful with long hair like wth

I agree it’s very cringey at times but at least it’s not all the time. I had to brainwash myself that they were doing it intentionally for comedic purposes since there were some other pretty funny moments

I really enjoyed this drama (other than the ending which felt a bit rushed) but I wish there was no romance in it because it doesn’t need it and they had ZERO chemistry. I mean that’s the worst most unbelievable cp I’ve ever seen.

I was thinking the same! He was so skinny in You Are My Hero, it made his character unconvincing. But I remember he was getting hate from fans who were mad he was trying to gain weight and muscle :(

Ok I finished the ep and now have a feel for the vibe of this show—and I’m loving it! I was expecting a typical crime thriller, but this is so much more fun (so far)

I thought this was a serious show, but the first (half??!!) of the first episode is so over the top and cheesy I can’t take it seriously 🤣 I’m still having fun tho so shall continue…

Unpopular opinion but I think it would have been more impactful if it had a sad ending. Or at least showed us the happy ending! The way they ended it is kinda the worst of both worlds imo

As of ep 9, which I said I watched up until, the ML is not aware the FL also traveled back. But go ahead and defend it

Well I got up to ep 9 and none of what you said is apparent. They really should put it upfront otherwise it feels gross

I more or less liked this drama until I found out he’s 8 years older than her, and he was clearly into her when she was still in high school. Gross.

Just saying… I can see why she fell for Yi Tianyu back then. 😏 Been forever since I’ve had SML syndrome, but you know what? I like him and his dad!

I started watching this expecting it to be deep and moving and beautiful based on the comments and reviews, but I think - just like Korean society in general - it is lacking in real depth. Dropped.

Same! I was so invested in S1 and now I can’t even bring myself to watch this. Still debating if worth my time
