Same!! I especially wanted him to shoot the corrupt, murderous lawyer Choi Myung Hee and wipe that eternal smirk…
I couldn't help it - I hate Choi Myung Hee so much! Don't worry...my daughter understood...lol

I know, right!?!? I'm on episode 18, thinking that it must not be many more episodes before the main leads finally…
OMG! When do you have time to watch The Untamed for so many times! I love this drama but it's way too long to rewatch that many times like you especially since I have such a long list of dramas I want to watch. I hope you are watching "Word of Honor"! It's so good but I'm all caught up with the Eng subbed eps and have to patiently wait for the new ones to come out. As for The Sword & the Brocade I had to fast forward most of the last episodes. It was just getting too drawn out and I was really getting bored. There's just so much stress and anxiety that I can take watching the couple get out of one situation and then facing another so fast. Have fun with the remaining eps. I'm just so glad I got through it albeit cheating a bit by fast forwarding.

Happy ending for the main couple. As for Daddi Tang, it's not...he didn't get his love (Shiyi) and he betrayed his family. If you are referring to his relationship with the maid Amber, there is no ending...I guess you can say it's still open. He rejects Amber's wish to follow him wherever he goes but Amber still follows him anyway at the end. And that's how his story ends.

Agreed-I used to think he was overrated and I haven't watched DoTS yet, so Vincenzo was my introduction, but I…
I started watching DOTS and then put it on pause again when another drama caught my interest. Which also means it wasn't as interesting to me yet. I also want to watch Arthdal Chronicles which Song Jong Ki is in too but have yet to even begin.

Them killing him mother further proves my point of how the villains in this drama aren't that smart compared to…
I really thought they would use Vincenzo's mom to threaten Vincenzo with. I never thought they would just go and kill her outright! That was a stupid move. Han Seung Hyuk (CEO of Wusang) even said the same thing when he found out that the mom was killed...that it would only make Vincenzo angrier. But this is what you expect when 2 psychos meet each other (Jang Jun Woo & Choi Myung Hee).

So I understood Vincenzo's murderous rage after his mom was killed. But I don't understand what his intent was to follow the killer to the villain's place. How is this going to pan out after he shot his mom's killer? How did all those security guards not able to take down Vincenzo? I get that Vincenzo was fueled by adrenaline due to rage but he took on so many guys! Didn't anyone have guns with them? How is Vincenzo the only one that has access to guns? Ugh....now I have to wait 2 more weeks for eps 17 & 18!

Same!! I especially wanted him to shoot the corrupt, murderous lawyer Choi Myung Hee and wipe that eternal smirk off her face! I told my daughter that Vincenzo should shoot and disable both her legs so she wouldn't be able to do that annoying dance at the laundromat anymore!

Just a guess, maybe Vincenzo's mom told Cha Young that she knew Vincenzo is his son all along.
I think that was revealed in the letter that Cha Young read. I think Vincenzo's mom knew that Vincenzo was her son. That's why Cha Young engineered for Vincenzo & his mom to spend time together. And even though it was too late for Vincenzo to call his mom "Mom", his mom was able to tell him how she felt when she was saying to Vincenzo what she would tell her son if she ever met him again. It was so bittersweet.

Why is Inzaghi not part of the cast? He saved him ??
OMG...I was like who is going to save Vincenzo this time from the Mafia hit...and THEN.....Inzaghi and his band of pigeons! My daughter & I was laughing our heads off and saying "Get out of here!".....only in dramas would this happen! And the theme is: Be nice to animals!

On The Sword and the Brocade Apr 12, 2021
I liked this drama but towards the end, I was getting so tired and exhausted with all the schemes and lies aimed at the couple. When they triumphed over one scheme, another would spring up. I mean the couple barely had time to savor any happiness before another crisis would arise! It really dragged for me at the end and I just wanted to see all the villains brought to justice already....meaning the conniving Qu family and their partners in crime. I fast forwarded a lot of the eps at the end because I just wanted it to end already. The one issue I had was when Shiyi was going to get beheaded. Would her husband get there in time to save her? Would he?!!!! Well...just as the knife goes down to her head the screen goes black and then we see her husband back in their room and Shiyi is unconscious lying in bed still with her head intact. So I'm waiting for the flashback of what happened and how LingYi saved her. Do they show that? NOPE! They just leave it to our imagination that she was saved at the last moment. Oh and the reason why Shiyi blacked out? Well...LingYi tells her why. That's nice but can you please tell us how you stopped the blade from severing her head?!!! So they get the happy ending....FINALLY. First of all..this Xu family needs to never have so many wives in it...ever! It only causes trouble. LingYi looked so hapless and overwhelmed with all these women vying for his attention. He never loved any of them and only married them due to situations engineered by his 1st wife and pressured by his mother. I'm pretty sure he was happier out in the battle grounds than dealing with this scheming witches. How you can have so many wives and have a happy household is beyond my imagination. And wasn't the reason in having so many wives was for political alliances and to have kids? So he had 3 wives and only 1 child. And to find out that his mom caused the miscarriage of one of the concubines because she thought it wasn't a good idea for a concubine to have a child before the legitimate wife did! WTF? Isn't this defeating the purpose of having children to carry on the name? I really hated his mom throughout the drama because she was just too controlling. Only towards the end did she redeem herself. Also, Shiyi's bitchy sister Erniang also came around towards the end. She was such a complete bitch throughout the drama so it was nice to see her finally support Shiyi when Shiyi was imprisoned. That was nice to see that her character did progress and that Shiyi's kindness towards Erniang did affect her personality at the end. All in all the drama was way too long for me....too many schemes, setbacks, lies, misunderstandings, etc. And it just seem like LingYi & Shiyi's divorce papers constantly played a prominent part between them...mainly used as an "out" in case something happened to protect one or the other. And it took way too long for the Qu family to finally be revealed as the villains. I was starting to get a little bored towards the end even through the prison drama for Shiyi.

I so agree! I mean they didn't consummate the marriage until so much later. He tried but she kept pushing him away and I was like just rolling my eyes. He was extremely patient with her though. I mean he wasn't having any relations with the other wives and he must have needs but he respected Shiyi and waited until she was ready. If you see the timeline, she was still a teen when she married him. He was probably in his late twenties, early 30's already. So she was still in her early 20's with no experience in the bedroom activities.

Do Daddi Tang and his lover have happy ending ?
Amber was never his lover and the one he loved (Shiyi) didn't love him. It's pretty sad for him because he really supported & protected Shiyi throughout. But like he told Shiyi at the end when her life was on the line, Ling Yi was the one that came to save Shiyi despite the danger. Amber tried at the end to follow him and the exiled Qu family but he rejects her saying he doesn't have anything to offer her. I think he is still hung up over his love for Shiyi and his betrayal of his family. Amber is more into him than he is to her right now. Anyway, despite being rejected, Amber still follows him and that's how it ended for them.

Title XX Spoiler
So I just finished this really short drama and I really loved it. It's about the broken relationship of 2 besties over a guy. It's about a rich girl (Roo Mi) who wants to be acknowledged by her absentee father and an average girl who has been avoiding relationships due to the betrayal of her then boyfriend with her bestie. This is also about how the average girl (NaNa) finally comes to terms with the betrayal and is able to find new love and also resolve her relationship between her ex bestie & ex boyfriend. I especially loved Danny who was able to break through NaNa's tough exterior. I wish for a Danny in my life too. What I really need is a Season 2. I want to know what happens between Roo Mi and her father. I really thought he was going to show up at the launch party at the bar but I was disappointed that it didn't happen. I want to find out what happens with NaNa's roommate and his ex and also to see what happens to all the characters in the drama. And I wanted to see more of NaNa & Roo Mi's repaired friendship. It really needed more episodes.

On Angel's Last Mission: Love Apr 5, 2021
I haven't cried so much tears as I have for this tearjerker of a story. The beautiful love story between 2 childhood friends that found each other as adults. Shin Hye Sun proves once again what a great actress she is in how she is able to wring your emotions with every move she makes. She went from a cold hearted arrogant person and gradually changed after she fell in love. Kim Myung Soo was absolutely adorable as the delinquent angel who is given one last chance to redeem himself. Some have criticized his acting but I thought he did a great job. Remember, the character died as a little boy and is put into a body with all the memories of young You Sung Woo. He never had a chance to grow up and live his life so his actions are similar to still being pure naive adult discovering love. I teared up throughout the drama - the leads were constantly in anguish knowing how it would end and how both were self-sacrificing because of love. I loved the characters of Archangel Hoo, Butler Jung and Secretary Jo: Archangel Hoo because he supported Kim Dan as much as he was able to and was changed by Kim Dan; Butler Jung and Secretary Jo who cared and supported Lee Yeon Soo despite her being such a prickly employer - both never wavered from their loyalty towards her. I loved Butler Jung's sarcastic personality too in dealing with Lee Yeon Soo - their scenes together were so funny.
Towards the end of the drama where all the villains were eventually exposed and dealt with, that's when the tears started again. Kim Dan & Lee Yeon Soo's wedding was simply perfect with just the two of them and Butler Jung. Their love for each other was felt through every emotional and touching scenes. I felt the loss & pain that Lee Yeon Soo went through when Kim Dan left. And the last 2 episodes where she was the only one seeing Kim Dan everywhere and Butler Jung was so worried for her. We all knew that Kim Dan was there in spirit. And at the end, I have no doubt that Kim Dan was returned to Lee Yeon Soo as a human. It's clear as day that God decided to give him back to Lee Yeon Soo because the couple made so many sacrifices for each other and they worked so hard in being together. I have to say - throughout the story I kept saying why is God so cruel? Both the characters went through such hardships that they both were deserving of happiness. And even though I wanted to see more of them together when Dan & Lee Yeon Soo realized he was human, I guess their time getting married and the days they lived together loving each other was already seen so they didn't have to repeat it ....it was just understood that now they can finally be together in the end. This was a beautiful love story!

Another thing....why oh why did they put that cheesy moustache on Zhong WuMei at the end? It destroyed his looks...made him look more like his Emperor brother (who I wasn't so crazy about - he was always so negative towards Luojin even though she saved his butt so many times). Even on handsome Simon Gong it looked so bad and comical! I wanted to reach in an rip it off his face! ;)

The maid the FL saved is evil. She is the person who works for the emperors brother and shows up with a veil.Tang…
I didn't like Tang Meng in Unique Lady 1 and I hated her in the 2nd. She's too stupid to live! Such a bad actress too. All she did was walk around with this frowny worried pathetic expression on the whole time and when she was supposed to be all sad about the stupid things she did, I didn't see any tears coming out of her eyes. I really felt bad for Jiang..he was in love with Luojin but settled for this silly gullible girl.
