Title Unique Lady Season 3 Spoiler
soooo muchhh better than S1 (i was a bit disappointed with S1 ending because they didnt really show if she got…
Yeah...they never really explained how she got out of the game other than she found her happiness and so the game ended for her. It was really cute meeting all the game characters as real people outside the game. I was so happy that the ZWM character knew who she was in real life. My take on this was what he said in the game to her: That if you really love someone, you will recognize that person no matter where you are. So obviously their love transcends time & space. The only disappointment I had was not seeing the characters of Xi Que & Zhang Ji in real life. I was waiting to see them but nothing!

Title Unique Lady Season 3 Spoiler
Is it just me that really hates Tang Meng? Jiang Xuanyu deserved better than this stupid, naive, jealous, pathetic and gullible woman! Even when he said he loved her at the end I just kept shaking my head. I was hoping he dump her for all her stupidity and jealousies. Instead he ends up with a mentally damaged woman with the mind of a little girl at the end. He deserved so much more. Anyway...I got that rant out of the way. I really fell in love with all the guys around Lin Luojing. How fortunate she is to have so many guys in love with her. I especially love the characters of Zhong Wu Mei and Liu Xiu Wen (these two made me swoon throughout the drama). The plot was a bit ridiculous: the same misunderstandings between the main couple; the constant hurting each other and making up; Wu Mei keeps secrets from Lin Luojing and vice versa even though they PROMISE to tell each other everything after each fight and then they break it minutes later; the Emperor is this weak sickly dude - how does the villain hold him hostage in his own palace? Doesn't he have security? When Lin Luojing is tied to the wooden pole or whatever it is by Prince Jin Chen - you can see so much slack in the ties holding her wrists! She could have just pulled her hands out from the ties. It was pretty funny to me. The mighty Tian Yi clan gets captured so easily by Prince Jin Chen? What's with that? Anyway - I fast forward a lot of the eps because it was the same sabotaging & schemes. I just wanted to get to the ending to find out what happened. The ending was cute back in the modern world. It left a lot of questions though as to how the WuMei character knew the female lead in the real world. Was this because he said in the game that if you love someone, you will recognize that love no matter where? And it was cute seeing all the other characters and how they looked outside of their costume clothes. My last rant - why didn't the original actor that played Elder Xua come back to Unique Lady 2? Instead they had someone else play that part with the explanation that even though he didn't die in Unique Lady 1, he came back with a different face. The original actor was so much better looking - I missed seeing him. All in all it was a cute drama - loved Simon Gong, Alen Feng and Jade Cheng in their roles. If Lin Luojing didn't want XiuWen, I will gladly take him! He was absolutely gorgeous in his costumes.

for acting-wise, this could be one of Shin Hyesun best character so far. It’s crazy how she can pull the character…
I never realized how tall she is! She's listed as 5'8" making her a really tall ballerina.

Pro:Shin Hye SunCon:Kim Myung Soohe almost made this unwatchable for me
I'm in Ep 9 and I think Kim Myung Soo is adorable as the angel. Apparently he's been making mistakes as an impartial angel because he cares too much so this is his last mission - if he fails, he's dust. I think he's doing a fine job so far. I love his interaction with Shin Hye Sun.

Is it going to be Eng subbed? But I think I will wait for some more eps to accumulate before I start watching. I'm already on pause waiting for "Word of Honor" to air more Eng sub eps and it's getting so frustrating waiting. I'm waiting on several dramas right now too...argh!!!!!

Title Legend of the Phoenix Spoiler
The last episodes are so annoying and just frustrating. Too much time wasted by the leads bootlicking the useless…
I started watching this drama a long time ago but didn't return to it due to other dramas getting my interest. So when I saw a clip of this drama again, I started binging on the last several eps instead of going back to the beginning. I think I was turned off from the start due to the comments about how the romance between the FL and ML were practically nonexistent due to them being torn apart. I agree with you - so annoying towards the end. They exposed the concubine but the idiot emperor chose to believe her lies even though their was so much proof to her evil schemes. They spent too much time on the evil concubine and the clueless emperor. I kept looking for the FL & ML to have some happy times together but then the ML supposedly "dies" in battle after defeating the enemy. And then everyone starts dropping like flies including the emperor. I wasn't sure what he died from though - did he have a heart attack? I didn't understand why the FL was suddenly labeled a traitor and then entered the "Cold Palace". At first I thought it was a way for her to leave the palace and maybe reunite with an "alive" ML? But no...the next thing we know it's 10 yrs later that she has been in the cold palace. And when the new emperor comes to take her out, she declines and instead leaves permanently from the palace. Ok...so this sets it up for her to find out that her love is actually alive - he was saved by Lang Kin! So then you expected this passionate reunion between the couple...but what did we get? Just some distant stares! NO RUNNING TO EACH OTHER TO HUG...NO PASSIONATE EMBRACES...NOTHING! This was the most anticlimactic reunion that I've ever seen! If I see someone that I love come back to life, you will be damn sure I'll be toppling him over after I run to him with the biggest hug and kiss ever. And then the drama ended and I was like thank goodness I didn't watch the whole thing for this underwhelming ending.

I've always hated Erniang from the get-go with her stuck up attitude and her condescending attitude towards ShiYi.…
I haven't gotten to those eps yet. I couldn't ever imagine Erniang changing her ways but at least there's a smidgeon of hope based on what you said. Thanks for the info!

Why Erniang would ever think madam Ou actually cares about her when everyone else looks down om her is quite ridiculous.
I've always hated Erniang from the get-go with her stuck up attitude and her condescending attitude towards ShiYi. She herself is a product of a concubine mother and is illegimate but she had the nerve to look down on ShiYi and thinking she was all so superior. She never treated ShiYi well and despite that, ShiYi still tries to be a good sister to Erniang. Everything that goes wrong with Erniang she turns around and blames ShiYi instead of taking the responsibility for her own doings. She's similar to Concubine Qiao who blames ShiYi for all that goes wrong too. I'm so glad Erniang's scheme was found out when she tried to pose as ShiYi and Erniang ended up in her abusive marriage with Wang. She got exactly what she deserved!

Poor Xu Ling Yi - he has to deal with battles in and out of his household. He had a wife and two unwanted concubines. I think that's why he prefers to stay outside of his household so he doesn't have to deal with the infighting between all his wives and the power struggles & scheming going on. He may be a strong general in the battle field but he's a total wuss when it comes to dealing with his mom and the rest of the scheming women. So ShiYi met Xu Ling Yi when she was 15 yrs old and marries him when she is 16? What an age difference. And you expect her to be responsible for running the household? Crazy! Anyway, Concubine Qiao made my blood boil with her constant scheming. She is also delusional thinking that she will make Xu Ling Yi fall for her when it was obvious he couldn't stand her, let alone be in the same room with her. I liked ShiYi but it stressed me out watching her be TOO nice and tolerating all the evil things Concubine Qiao planned for her. There were glimpses of ShiYi being strong and fighting back but only when ShiYi was pushed too far. I was like her maid Dong Qing - I wanted ShiYi to be more proactive in not getting bullied. I hated Madame Xu and her blatant bias towards Concubine Qiao...even when it was found out that Qiao's dog was the cause of Zhunge's sickness. I felt like Qiao only got a slap on her hand - and her pathetic show of crying and looking pitiful was ridiculous! Who couldn't see through that fake act? Of course Madame Xu fell for it - because high born women don't do things like that on purpose, right? Ugh! Hated her! I'm on Ep 13 and can't believe that Xu Ling Yi and ShiYi haven't consummated yet. But then again he's much older and she's still in her teens! And he is being respectful towards her so I'll give him that much. Just wish he didn't actively let his snobby mom dictate what he should do...especially taking on so many wives! I know it's needed for alliances but concubines are nothing but trouble. Who really wants to share anyway? And final note for now - hate ShiYi's half sister Erniang ....nothing redeeming about this bitchy jealous hateful character. ShiYi was too easy with her. I started binge watching this last night even past my bedtime. I was totally absorbed in drama with its house full of scheming women and hidden plots and of course trying to figure out who killed ShiYi's mom. I have a ways to go!

Title Joy of Life Spoiler
I'm on Ep 39...does anyone know why the Little Emperor is being played by a female actress? You can tell she's a female in this drama - they didn't seem to be successfully in hiding her bumpy chest area and I recognized her from another drama. Is the Little Emperor really a female in disguise or they just felt that a female actress can play that role? Just curious. And let me tell you - this drama has been such a battle of wits with Fan Xian always seeming to think ahead of the mind games to counteract the schemes of the enemies and his own people. I know I would have been killed earlier on if it was me! :D

TU is not only the classic but also is pioneer for successful "bromance/BL series" in China. I loves Xiao Zhan…
Wasn't the A03 scandal absurd?!! Xiao Zhan got caught in it even though he had absolutely NOTHING to do with it. Both sides were putting the blame on him - just shows you how crazy people can be. And it was sad that XZ & WY had to restrain their interactions with each other in public because every little thing they did would be looked over in a microscope and judged. Only with their "behind the scenes" clips did we get a view of how casual and playful they were together while filming The Untamed. Of course at the time of their filming they had no idea how big their drama would blow up and how big their names would become. But it was nice to see their unrestrained interaction during the filming.....like two little kids playing in the playground.

Please do not compare TU to WoH. These are completely two different series. TU will always be the classic where…
Agreed! The Untamed opened up the floodgates to all the other BL dramas and made it easier for others to star in future BL dramas. I admit that I started and stopped watching when I first seen The Untamed but then finally sat down and watched it. And it turned out to be so good - the chemistry between XZ & WY was incredible - so much so that so many fans wished that they were a couple in real life. Now I'm watching Word of Honor and I really like it too. I love the chemistry between the two main leads - If I could I would binge the entire drama but I'm limited by the release of Eng.subbed eps. Right now I'm waiting for more eps to build up before I go back to watching it. Hope you like Word of Honor too!
