ikKKRRR IT IS SOO WELL WRITTEN for me i rly love the ML because he’s got that playful but smart and arrogant…
Lol....I noticed how disheveled he looked most of the time. But behind that dishevel exterior lies a sharp scheming mind who has his eyes on all facets of his kingdom. He may appear nice sometimes but you can see his mind is always working. He also has this "Don't f*ck with me" look on his face too....especially if you kiss his ass, the emperor can see right through you.
I just started watching this and am in ep 23. So far it's been very enjoyable - lots of political intrigue and scheming. Fan Xian has been saved from so many situations already...when it seems he's going to get it, a major power figure shows up to save his butt! It was amazing....just to watch who will save Fan Xian next. I think his romance with Wan'er is very sweet and they make a cute couple and their misunderstandings in the beginning were frustrating. But their romance is not the big part of the story. It's about Fan Xian figuring out who he really is in relation to all the major figures that appear in his life. And it all centers around his mom who died after he was born. The one character I find the most intriguing and mysterious is his 1st guardian and protector Uncle Wu Zhu. He is a ninja - appearing and disappearing at will and he's an incredible fighter. Fan Xian even joked and asked "Are you even human?" I want to find out more about him and his 100% devotion to his mistress (Fan Xian's mom). I want to find out what's in the long chest that belonged to Fan Xian's mom. Zhang Ruo Yun has been amazing in his role as Fan Xian. He first caught my attention in the drama Novoland (Castle in the Sky). I know already that this will end in a cliffhanger so I'm not crazy about that and I will usually drop a drama if I hear that. But this drama has been too good so far and I'm in it to the end! Also absolutely love his "sister" Ruo Ruo - she is 100% supportive of everything that Fan Xian does and never hesitates to protect and aid in his quests. Can't wait to watch the rest of the eps.
The main lead didn't hide his identity, but his true identity hide from himself. Those who knows is important…
For some reason I thought that since Fan Xian is from the future, he would have cured Wan'er from her TB...he would have been considered a miracle worker!
If you watch episode 6, after ZZS took off his mask underwater, the surprise and realization came upon WKX's face.…
OMG...thanks so much for the information! Now I understand WKX's intense interest in ZZS and why he called ZZS his soulmate. That really explains a LOT! I can't wait to see more of this drama!!
If you watch episode 6, after ZZS took off his mask underwater, the surprise and realization came upon WKX's face.…
I can't wait to find out the story of WKX. I'm starting to read the novel now - still at Chapter 13. Not sure I will finish it but just wanted to see the difference between the drama & the novel. Since I need the Eng sub eps, I have to patiently wait for each subbed ep to air :(
Question: How can Wen Ke Xing know Zhou Xu is his "soulmate" if they only really just met. I'm just basing it on the drama since I didn't read the novel. All I've seen is Zhou Xu trying to get away from Ke Xing but Ke Xing keeps following him. I know Ke Xing is attracted to Zhou Xu and he's extremely curious as to ZX's true face/identity. At one point when they were both hit with the hallucinatory drug at the funeral home area, Zhou Xu found out the Ke Xing knew his real name already and was curious as to how Ke Xing knew. But still...how can you call someone your soulmate so fast?
Don't watch it now. Wait for it to completely subbed I watched until episode 8 and now I can't stop thinking about…
Same! I'm going to let it accumulate Eng sub eps before I return to it. I have a few dramas on the backburner also waiting for new Eng sub eps to finish before I resume. The only problem is that once I return to these "paused dramas" I have to refresh my memory of what happened prior...or where I left off. I know I should jot down the last ep that I watched before I stopped watching but I'm also lazy. lololol..
Isnt it because the production is trying to keep a low profile so the drama can get released smoothly? Its probably…
That makes sense because it's a BL drama. From what I've read, this drama didn't even need a lot of promotion - it already has many views! I found it through my Instagram from their postings of new dramas to watch. And then seen lots of positive comments so of course I had to check it out on Youtube!
Shame, shame, shame! Three grown men bullying and baiting a kid!!! smh.
I know! The poor kid! You can see he's so unhappy and he's constantly being threatened by those stupid brothers (except for the soft one that is tries to protect him) The other bully brothers don't give two craps about him - they just want the prized piece that they think he has or knows where it is. Cheng Ling just wants to follow his "Master" Zhou Xu. But the fact that Zhou Xu is keeping a close eye on his unwanted "disciple" is telling because you can see he has come to care for the kid. I'm just waiting for the time he will give in and take his "kid" back. And Cheng Ling has gone through so much with the annihilation of his family home and family and I just want to see his sad face be happy again.
Ok....I started binging on this drama over the weekend and when I got to Ep 9 Eng sub I was like "What?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Where is it? I started searching online and got the same result - no English sub ep 9 yet! Arghhhhhhh!!! So far it's been really good...it got draggy at certain parts where I ended up snoozing and then had to rewind to see what I missed. Maybe it was because I was tired too...lol...I'm glad Zhou Xu finally ditched that homeless unshaven mask and is now wearing his own face. You could see Wen Xe King's enamored expression when he finally got to see Zhou Xu's real face. Their chemistry is so cute! We know Zhou Xu and what he was before but we are still to discover who Xe King is (although it's been hinted that he's the leader of Ghost Valley) and what his ultimate goal is. We still need to find out his back story (although based on the synopsis, I know he's out to avenge his parents' deaths)....but I need to know more. And now I have to wait for the further eps to be subbed. "Sigh"!!!!
I've reached the 50th ep and thought it was finally the end but found out there's 56 eps. I've fast forwarded a majority of the eps after ep 21. This drama has got to be the most aggravating , frustrating, depressing & annoying dramas that I've watched but I've invested my time on it so I need to finish it to the end. The biggest problem for the Snow Tower Master: the WOMEN! 1. Jingrong - gets hurt or poisoned all the time; does not listen to Yi Qing and does reckless & impulsive things all the time; constantly misunderstands Yi Qing; has trust issues; stubborn and prideful; too self-sacrificing all the time 2.Xiao Tai - totally spoiled; 100% jealous of Jingrong; ungrateful; stubborn; reckless; unrepentant; does not get that the Yi Qing is not into her and doesn't understand why he didn't choose her instead of Jingrong; betrayer; immature 3. Minghe - evil; ruthless; deceiver; liar; killer; 100% jealous of Jingrong; should have been killed a long time ago in my opinion I hate that the evil characters don't get their just desserts. I hate all the misunderstandings between Jingrong & Yi Qing - some of it brought on by Yi Qing because in his desire to "protect" Jingrong, he always doesn't tell her everything and lies to her face so it leads to her overthinking things which leads to her either getting hurt emotionally or doing some reckless act. The two of them can be immensely prideful and hurt each other's feelings on purpose. I was in shock when Jingrong went through all the trouble to get the flower to cure his lovesick poison and because they were angry with each other, Jingrong pours out her medicine and Yi Qing pours out the medicine that would have cured his poison. I was like HOW CHILDISH can these 2 adults be! Besides hating Minghe, the other character I hated the most was Xiao Tai. She is one incredibly spoiled, childish, jealous, spiteful and annoying person! She just does not understand or accept that Yi Qing just sees her as his little sister and nothing else. He is in love with Jingrong - he has even said that to XT and that JR is the only one in his heart... but she keeps asking what does he see in Jingrong that she doesn't have: It's because he doesn't LOVE you like that gurl! Geeezzzzzzz! But she stubbornly refuses to accept that and this leads her down the wrong path. And Qing Yu who is in love with Xiao Tai is also headed down the wrong path because of his jealousy of XT's love for YQ. Ugh! FYI: main take I got from this drama: don't fall in love because it will lead to your death or destruction. The amount of times the characters get poisoned, stabbed, etc and the copious amount of spitting blood is prominent in this drama. The male lead is coughing and pale all the time and it's a wonder he even has any strength to be the leader. If it was me, I would never take this job - it doesn't pay. And the people they "save" always seem to turn out to be these ungrateful wretches that want revenge but they have no fighting skills or they turn on you. Is this worth it? I say no. Anyway..I have 6 more eps to finish it and I will tuck it away so I will never ever watch this again.
Xiao Tai was the one who made me cringe. Just wanted to slap her every time she came on screen lol
Yeah...she was annoying as hell! She was to blame for losing the map to Sand Valley which allowed the Moon Sect to enter which ended up with the Master being killed and the destruction of Sand Valley. She is such a ditz. Why her dad entrusted her with such a valuable and important map beats me! I also blamed Qing Lan for bringing in Minghe into Sand Valley too - he was way to trusting, naive and gullible!
It seems like Yi Qing is too sick for romance...and he takes his Tower Master title very seriously. But he shows that he cares about her indirectly by always supporting her unbeknownst to Jing Rong. His facial expressions soften when he sees her and you can tell he is in love with her by his actions. I think both of them are in denial of their true feelings until later when she finds out that Yi Qing was really the "doctor" that took such great care of her when she was blinded by the poison.
I didn't think he was a weakling. He came through when he needed to. Of course he couldn't defeat the higher ringed…
Dude...if they didn't have this info in the drama then how would I have known he had past skill memories? But thanks for the info. I did start reading the 1st chapter and it was with Tang San running from the masters in the Tang Sect and he was about 27 or 29 at that time before he jumped off the cliff.
I understand there are vibrant colors and some of the choreography of the fights is interesting... but this thing…
I'm into the 21 ep and am also absolutely frustrated at the female lead's lack of character growth - there are times where she does things that are just "too stupid to live"! She is so reckless and impulsive and always disregards what the Tower Master keeps telling her and then she ends up in trouble and usually knocked out through poison. I mean how many times is she going to do such stupid things and not size up who she is fighting with. In the scene where she finds Minghe and her Moon sect people in the Sea palace, instead of going back to alert Yi Qing, she decides to take on Minghe & Gu Guang herself and of course we know what the outcome is. In the 3 yrs she was on her own with the Blood Stone sword, she still is weak in her swordplay and succumbs easily to trick moves especially when it comes to poison. And Yi Qing is constantly right behind her saving her butt all the time even when she thought she was on her own in those 3 yrs. I just can't with her...I'm still watching it although now I'm introduced to the new villains in the Flower Palace (?)...not sure if that's the correct name. Yi Qing has been taken by the maid who's real identity is the daughter of the head of the Palace. And speaking of the Sea palace - how can that stupid Hao Tian allow that manipulative witch that pretended to be his mom walk around so freely like that even after her treachery was exposed? And then Hao Tian gets angry when his fake mom is found dead and automatically blames the missing Tower master?! This drama has been very aggravating especially with the female lead. I loved her better in Love & Redemption even thought that drama was also filled with misunderstandings which I absolutely HATE! And I totally despised the fact that Qing Lan did not die in the Sand Valley explosion but has been used as a killing machine by the Moon Sect in those 3 yrs all because Minghe had fallen in love with him. By the way...I can't stand her too. I keep hoping she dies but unfortunately she continues to survive.
