I understand. Your point of view was based on the novel which I didn’t read. So we have different perspectives on the drama. I know if I had read the novel I would be critiquing all the things that they changed in the drama. So seeing it with no knowledge of the book, Tang san came across as discovering his powers along the way but was always able to work the fights out to win.

I didn't think he was a weakling. He came through when he needed to. Of course he couldn't defeat the higher ringed masters and definitely couldn't defeat the Supreme Leader. But he's still discovering his powers and he still doesn't know what powers he is capable of especially those left by his mom. His father didn't explain his powers and kept him in the dark. So I hope that Xiao Zhan does reprise his role along with the rest of the cast. They left so much hanging from Season 1 and it left me frustrated to say the least! I agree with the others - we need Season 2 ASAP!

Title Douluo Continent Spoiler
So I finished the drama yesterday and I was like ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH! How could they end it like that?!!!! Honestly...I've read lots of the comments on this drama and since I never read the book, I watched it with no expectations except for the fact that it was Xiao Zhan as the male lead and I couldn't wait to see him in this drama. This reminded me a little of Fight Break Sphere. There was never a time where I thought the drama dragged and it kept me interested ep after ep and finally to the end. I knew there was going to be a Season 2 but it just majorly sucks that I have to wait now. And will the same actors/actresses play the same parts for the Season 2? They have to finish the story about Tang San and his parents! I know that a lot of people didn't like the Xiao Wu character but I was one of the ones that did like her. She complemented Tang San and would risk her life for him. She acted all cute and innocent but I liked that she wasn't over the top with it and I also liked that she could fight and was not a withering flower. I liked that they both started off as innocents and didn't realize that what they felt for each other would evolve into love. The final ep left me baffled: how did his father get them out of there when battling the Supreme Leader. Will Xiao Wu leave Tang San to get stronger? What happened to the rest of the 7 members, the Headmaster & Grandmaster?! ARGHHHHHHHHH! I was yelling at me screen like "NOOOOOOOO!". Does anyone know any info about the second season? Xiao Zhan better be back (even though he looked too old to play a character in his teens but I didn't care - I suspended reality). I loved the whole Shrek Team and their unity and want them all back! So if anyone has any new info...please tell me! ;)

I dropped General's Lady because I couldn't stand the female lead character. She was so annoying ! I dropped it and haven't picked it back up since then.

How can the same woman be your sister and your lover?
Because they aren't blood related. They joined the same academy in the beginning and Xiao Wu took a liking to Tang San because he freed the rabbits and she is a rabbit spirit and he agreed to be her big brother. Throughout the drama they become very close but because they are 2 innocents, they don't know anything about man and woman love yet. They have deep feelings for each other and both are incredibly protective of each other. It's only when the other 2 Shrek females start filling her head with how male/female attraction works does Xiao Wu begin to think about her feelings towards Tang San.

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
I just finished watching yesterday and what a drama it was - it had drama, comedy, romance, time travel, etc! I felt the villains in the drama got off lightly with none of them being beheaded. I loved the main couple and of course we have to include the character of Jang Bong Hwan who started it all! There were 2 characters (Kim Byung In & Jo Hwa Jin) who redeemed themselves: one happily and the other tragically. One other couple emerged that was absolutely adorable - the Court lady and the Head Chef. The Court Lady and Maid for the Queen proved above & beyond loyal to the Queen. The comedy duo of Kim Hwan & Hong Byul Gam was hilarious! All the characters were perfectly played by the actors/actresses. The only thing that made me sad was when the souls were returned back to their own bodies at the end. The King fell in love with the Queen when it had Jang Bong Hwan's soul in it. It was his personality that attracted the King to the Queen and all the boldness & quirkiness that came with it. It was sad that at the end Jang returned to the modern world and you wondered whether the King would still be attracted to the Queen with Jang's soul gone. When the King asked why the Queen was being formal with him, you knew that the change in So Yong had taken place - she was more feminine and respectful besides the fact that So Yong said that she no longer heard the man's voice in her head. I liked that the Queen still had some of the feisty spirit left in her. But unfortunately with Jang gone, the King will no longer be able to find out what happens in the future like he did with the Jang/Queen. It was also nice to find out that their love was still apparent at the end with both of them missing each other in their respective residences and then taking off to find each other. I was really happy with the ending and that none of the characters died except for poor tragic Kim Byung In. I watched the Chinese version Go Princess Go and wasn't happy with the ending there even though they tried to redeem themselves with different possible endings. This Korean version was much happier and it wrapped things up very well.

This scene was supposed to be a funny, because how could they add a King's face in a funny portrait like this…
They showed an actual pic of the King and he looks a little cross-eyed in his portrait! Lolol...

Same here. And its cool, I don't mind that at all. Wish more shows were like that.
Wei Sheng is a manipulator and user. I don't really like him. He pushed Ling Long's father off the fish balloon with no remorse. And then he gave him up to the Marquis to be tortured. We find out he uses poor kids to do his dirty work - he's basically a user of people and sneaky. I don't know how they will write him to make him redeemable. Yin Zhuang seems to be aware of his evilness but is going along with the marriage because she wants his help in bringing back the prestige of the Yin name for her brother's sake. I don't know why but I keep getting the feeling that the Yin siblings seem way closer than just brother & sister. The way the Yin brother looks at his sister is a little more than just being a brother. If they weren't siblings, I ship her with her brother and even Ling Long's dad.

I am not sure why I find Yuan Yi’s character pretty dull. It’s actually more interesting watching Wei Sheng,…
I feel you....probably because he hasn't displayed any fighting skills or magical powers yet. I can't believe he went by himself for search for the Patron Goddess and didn't have any protection considering he's the King. Ling Long's road to discovering whether she's the Goddess is moving too slow. I'm waiting for new subbed eps since I'm caught up right now.

Title Go Princess, Go! Spoiler
I enjoyed it love the fl acting she’s is beautiful also and second lead was so sad it had some cute moments…
I agree. She was hilarious and so beautiful too. I found the costumes she wore so vividly colorful. I especially love how even looking so beautiful, she carried on like a man in the beginning of the drama. Peter Sheng was kind of stiff but he was good eye candy - he wanted Peng Peng to love him for him and was frustrated when he couldn't get it from her the many times he tested her. I know this drama was low budget but it still was so much better than some of the other so call more expensive budgeted dramas. And I agree too...I hated the ending especially after they fell in love with each other. The other alternate endings didn't make me feel better because it was more like "you pick & choose" which is so open ended.

Title Legend of Fei Spoiler
So I finally finished the drama and I was let down the last several eps. Honestly, the beginning of this drama felt stiff and Zanilia Zhao seem to be phoning in her acting and Wang Yibo giving his best for his character and trying to deviate from being typecast as Lan Zhan in Untamed. It was the middle of the drama where I felt their chemistry kicked in and the best parts were when Xiefun sacrificed his internal poison lock to aid Zhou Fei in battling the Disha leader. Then Xiefun's recovery in the cave and Zhou Fei's task in getting the 3 ingredients to keep Xiefun alive. I felt these eps were the best and the most emotional for the two. But after the aggravating ep 44 and the eps after until 50 & 51 were so slow and dragged out that I started to get bored and started to fast forward. Here's my list of useless characters: Li Yan - she couldn't fight and just seem to get in the way; she constantly pouted and sulked when she didn't get her way; she constantly wanted to help but had no ability, Zhou Fei's mom Jinrong - supposed to be such a powerful leader but we never saw that. She was no where to be found when there was fighting with Disha and when she was going to fight the leader, she easily got poisoned by the Poison lady, Zhou Fei's father Yitang - he went to lead the Anping army and basically did nothing...then came back to the 48 stronghold to bring his poisoned wife to the cave to be cured. So Zhou Fei's parents were MIA during the defeat of Disha. As I said the last 6 eps were draggy and seem to go downhill in quality. I was getting annoyed with the characters and I felt the chemistry with Zhou Fei and Xiefun were not as strong as it was in the middle parts. I loved when Xiefun was finally cured. Chu Chu and Li Sheng never really showed them being romantic; we never found out if Chu Chu's brother was dead or alive. The only thing interesting was the final fight scene between Zhou Fei and Sheng Tian and Xiefun against Snow Wolf. I don't understand why they gave the Iron book to that blacksmith at the end and wouldn't they want to keep the medical book since it had the cure to most poisons? Or at least make copies... Conclusion - this was just an ok drama. I wouldn't watch again. The editing was absolutely horrendous between each episodes and the music during fight scenes were simply uninspiring - which means that the music that accompanied the fight scenes were ridiculously too mild in my opinion. It didn't rev up the intensity of the fights. I thought Wang Yibo did an admirable job in making Xiefun his own and was completely different from his Lan Zhan role. Zanilia Zhao was hit and miss with her acting - in some scenes she was stiff but she has the best eyes in expressions and when she cried, she seem to be able to bring out big fat tears on command. I did enjoy it but felt it lost steam towards the end and it became a bit dragged out towards the end. It had a happy ending but I was glad it finally did end. I didn't have that feeling like I did when I watched Love and Redemption. That couple went through so much and when it finally ended I was still in love with them and it took me a while to move on. For this drama I felt it was easy to move on and go on to the next new drama.

Title Legend of Fei Spoiler
i feel you!!it was SO ANNOYING how that poison lady kept evading . I was so glad when she FINALLY died . i assume…
I think that Poison Lady knew exactly what to say to Zhou Fei to stop her from killing her right there: she said that the Medical scripture that everyone is looking for can cure the Bone Chilling poison and other poisons. So when Zhou Fei heard that, it made her pause in killing her. But that was just what the Poison Lady intended in order to buy her more time to suck Zhou Fei closer so she could whip the poison powder in Zhou Fei's face. But I was like how can you fall for that old trick?!!!! Did you scream at your tv screen like I did? I was like "ARGHHHHHHH!!!!" Lololol....
