Fair enough. I totally agree that people who spew hate shouldn't be allowed to do that and I didn't say I condoned that. I was only talking about ratings. I personally don't really like people who blindly rate simply because they love or hate someone. But I also accept that it's their right to do so. I also agree that there should be stops in place for blindly rating 1 or 10s to unaired episodes. If an episode hasn't aired or a drama, no rating should be allowed.

There are only 6 episodes out so its hard to really objectively rate the drama at this point. The ones who are rating are either antis with the 1s or the diehard fans with their 10s, and both groups are entitled to their extreme ratings. If the diehard fans are allowed and encouraged to give a 10, why can't antis? I feel it's hypocritical to allow and encourage one extreme group but not the other. Wait until the drama is over and non-antis and non-fans are then rating for a more true score. When the drama has a lot more episodes is when I'll give a rating and it will be based only on my objective enjoyment of the drama. So far the drama is entertaining but I also have some issues with it, but I hope as the drama progresses the issues I have will resolve themselves.

Yaaa the plot is so full of holes. Half the drama barely makes sense or just doesn't make any sense at all. I've stopped even trying to make sense of anything because things will happen with barely any explanation, or characters make senseless decisions, or it just ignores important plot points. I'm just watching for the leads at this point.

Yes its definitely up to opinion and taste! I actually dislike it more and more as it goes on but I'll still finish it at this point haha. I am just tired of this type of xianxia set-up. It's one of my favorite genres but I am tired of the innocent and clueless FL. I also am tired of the divine stuff in dramas as they are usually self-righteous jerks. But even still the drama in my opinion is very poorly written with bad pacing, editing and too many plot holes. I didn't like their 3rd life and the reasoning behind her hatred (she didn't bother to take a few seconds to ask ML why he did what he did? Just automatically jumped straight to hatred and revenge despite all the supposed love between them?). Anyways, I am happy you are enjoying it, it's just definitely not one for me.

I'm a huge fan of LXY but I am one of the people who have rated this low. The only reason I'm still watching is for LXY. I have multiple friends who are also his fan and we all are struggling. I feel the drama writing is very poorly done, the plot has more holes in it than swiss cheese, the romance just isn't well done, there are obnoxious side characters and villains, and has silly and contrived plot devices. The best part are the actors who all do a really good job, and I really like Kunlun and his character. FL is cute in first half and ML is thoughtful and sweet. Just too bad these characters and actors are in this terrible plot. I'm sure there are some antis out there but I don't think this drama or the actors are high profile enough to really warrant antis. It's just not a good drama 😭

You make some valid points and arguments. I'm still annoyed though 🤣 I'm just so frustrated there has been such little interactions between the actual leads and how the drama makes light of serious things.

As for favorite dramas? Too many to name lol but I mostly watch costume cdrama. This will probably be my first completed modern cdrama in over a year (unless this drama keeps making me angry lol)

I agree with all this. However, this is also why the romance isn't working for me. There has been almost no romantic interactions between TQ and SCC as herself and we are over halfway through the drama. All his interactions and feelings have been on other iterations of herself and she has shown very little romantic feelings for TQ also. I found ep 20 super frustrating because I want him to hurry and find out so there can be genuine feelings and interactions between them. Not just magical "she is the one" feelings.

I dropped Best Thing because it bored me. Also I didn't say FL purposefully tortured him, I said the plot did. The FL does some very shady and morally gray things but I don't think she really understands the full impact of how her actions are so negatively impacting ML.

It's so sad that ML has gotten a legit mental illness because of the cruel things FL keeps putting him through but then the drama turns it into a joke and makes light of it.

It you enjoy seeing a ML go through trauma after trauma, being lied to, manipulated, constantly gaslit, then you'll love the drama!

I've decided this drama should be called Trauma, Death and Gaslighting. I personally hated ep 20. I see people find it funny but I have no idea how when it was nothing but frustration and constant gaslighting. The drama is a bunch of various plots on how to traumatize and torture ML. Where is the romance?

The drama plot is Zhang Ling He's face. So many loooong moments focused just on different angles of his face with little plot otherwise. Not my type of drama personally, but like you said, I can see why some people might like a pure fluff drama sometimes.

The love triangle is very minimal. The SML and ML are friends and some of the rivalry between them was a misunderstanding (unrelated to FL) and another time was them pretending to dislike each other when plotting together. SML ends up fully supporting the otp relationship. Those posts are definitely out of context.

That's a lot of antis if true. I'm sure there are antis contributing to some of the low ratings but probably equally as many fans adding to the high ratings. But ratings are just opinions from random people, so watch and judge for yourself instead.

According to this article it's 4th place. Seems Nezha 2 is completely dominating all the movies released during CNY and on its way to break record sales of all time.

This movie had record pre-sales but unfortunately the sales after release significantly dropped off.

For a drama based off an investigation novel, it has little actual investigations happening. The first 6 eps is maybe 10% of the entire 1st novel. The pacing is quite slow.

Does someone have a list of the different phases in order (like Carefree or Insouciant phase)? They mentioned them once at the beginning but cant recall what ep and what they were.
