Drama is starting to get better! I need them to hurry and stop being so cold!

You can have interesting characters who are depressed and don't smile. You can also have boring characters who are happy and do smile. No, I don't expect him to be a ball of sunshine, I don't even need him to smile, but a personality would be nice.

I think everyone misunderstood and are making huge assumptions. I've seen plenty of sad and depressed and cold characters in dramas before, and they weren't boring. I don't need him to smile, but his character so far has done very little in showing an actual personality. You can still have a boring character who smiles. His personality is he doesn't have a personality. How people jumped to the conclusion that boring = not smiling is a huge leap in assumptions. I don't know if its Yang Yang's acting or the character itself.

I'm sorry, but Yu Tu is SOOOOO incredibly boring. He is like a blank wall. A potted plant could have been more interesting than his character. Right now Dilreba is what's keeping me watching as I quite like her character. I really hope Yu Tu starts having a personality soon.

Ah see I'm the opposite. I have been finding how many game scenes or rather how long they spend on them in Smile too much and boring. I like game scenes but not to the amount in Smile. But that's personal preference. Maybe me not fully understanding the game is the issue (which I kinda blame on the drama as other esports ones I was able to understand much easier). KA had lots of game scenes but I really liked those. But again, personal preference.

For Gank I actually liked the game aspect of it and his journey. It was the romance I had no interest in. It definitely isn't the best out there but it was still entertaining enough.

You can try Gank Your Heart. That one plays the same game. But out of all the esports ones I've watched my favorite has been Crossfire and King's Avatar (though Crossfire isn't heavy on romance and KA has no romance).

Popularity has nothing to do with if a drama is good or bad. I personally love L&R (I mean look at my avatar) but I personally think I am liking this a bit more for various reasons. But overall I think both dramas are excellent. But this is my opinion just like 'L&R is 10x better' is your opinion.

Don't listen to anyone and form your own opinion. Watch a few episodes and see if you like it or not.

Qingmu is an adorable puppy and I love him!

Huang Sheng Chi (actor playing ML Chenmo) is a terrible actor. Half the time he was onscreen it was a mystery what he was trying to emote. It was especially obvious as Zheng He Hui Zi (FL actress) did a fantastic job on both roles so he really paled in comparison. Would have enjoyed this much more with a better ML.

I've watched all 12 eps available and if the drama continues like this it will be my favorite drama of the year. I absolutely love it so far. So so so good! Steven is brilliant.

What I like about her is she is realistic. She is smart and sensible and a normal happy person. She isn't this overly good or bad person she is just normal and realistic which I love.

Also, I've never seen Joseph in anything before but I think he is the main reason I keep watching as he is doing a great job. He definitely is talented and someone to look out for.

Liang Jie is using her own voice. This isn't a voice actress.

I've watched 21 episodes and there has been very little plot progression for about 15 eps now. The drama is just spinning its wheels with very little actually happening. And the otp gives me such whiplash with their extreme hot and cold attitudes with each other. They will be soft and cuddly with each other one moment and then extremely toxic to each other the next. Really hope this drama finally picks up the pace and gives us some plot progression.

The drama has a large helping of unbelievable and ridiculousness but this drama has sucked me in. I managed to binge 28 eps in 3 days which hasn't happened in a long time. There are definitely many flaws but there is something addictive about this drama. I really enjoy all 4 of the main characters and it's a rare drama where I like both the main and secondary OTP equally. Both romances offer something different but equally enjoyable. I wasn't a fan initially of the FL actress (Dai Lu Wa) even though I loved her in Crossfire. She tends to feel ott and her expressions sometimes feels off. But I've grown used to her and find her ok now. I do quite like the other 2 leads. I'm surprised by how much I like He Luo Luo since he has very little acting experience under his belt but he is doing a good job and quite like him as the ML. The secondary leads are also doing a really good job. Overall this is definitely an enjoyable drama I'm glad I stumbled across.

This drama has almost no plot. As of ep 15 the plot is to see how many misunderstandings and reconciliations it can fit into a single drama. There is a misunderstanding and reconciliation almost every episode. I guess the only good thing is they fix their misunderstandings quickly.

Also, this OTP should not be together because they are the others worst enemy. I'm not even sure what the characters sees in each other. FL lies, hides things, is thoughtless, and seems to have almost no care for the ML. The ML gets angry and jealous really easily and does some pretty horrible things in response to his anger and jealousy. They are not a good OTP and would be better off without the other.

Tim finally getting a decent role after Ancient Detective! Give this man more roles!!

Watched 5 eps so far and I'm hooked! Not a super deep drama but its really fun without being campy and both leads are entertaining and have fun interactions with each other. Plus I'm a sucker for MLs who fall for the girl first, are nice and are good Dads/father figures which the ML is all of the above! The FL is smart and can hold her own. Really enjoying this!
