I'm not sure what's idiotic or disgusting about this. Guess we don't see eye to eye. The novel doesn't glorify this as it was the most horrific and terrible thing the ML went through and he is forever changed and altered by it. He feels no joy in life and living and only lives to reclaim his dragon body and get revenge on the person who did this to him. I love the book because a big theme is ML learning to live and love again after the horror he went through. I have no problem discussing this book if anyone wants, but coming to a whole conclusion from a synopsis and a couple excerpts is too early to really judge.

I would call it bittersweet. It was sad but also beautiful. I don't think I would change the ending. Qi Yan does die but it was expected and how the drama handled his death was very well done and lovely.

I agree. I was legit crying but I think the ending was perfect. It was sad but it was expected and it was so beautifully done. And that very last shot of her smile was so lovely and was a great way to end the whole drama 🥺🥰

She personally makes the drama not very good. She is a main character so it's hard to look past her bad acting and to like her character. But this is just my personal opinion. Best thing to do is give it a try and see how you feel about her.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I really don't understand the high score and praise for this drama. As of ep 20 I'm still waiting for when this supposed cutness I keep hearing about will happen. The ML is cold and treats the FL like a child too often (head pats, being bossy and calling her names like shorty). The power imbalance between the otp is not romantic or swoony in the least imo. FL actress is pretty bad and makes her character boring and unlikable. She always has this baffled look on her face. And her character is so short tempered and irrational and is constantly making mistakes and causing issues. If I wasn't watching this with someone else I would have either dropped or FF a lot.

Ah see I find YAMG entertaining but as soon as I finish watching ab episode it becones completely forgettable. Plus Yang Yang isn't a very good actor in my opinion and spent the majority of the drama being an attractive wall. I personally think this drama was way better.

I love how everyone acted like rational and intelligent adults. If something came up they discussed things and learned from their mistakes to have an even stronger relationship.

I watched all 3 dramas you mentioned and this drama is so SO much better than all 3 of them. This drama is so good and it's so sad it is so underrated. I know ratings are opinions and don't mean much but I have no idea how all 3 of those dramas have a higher rating (especially Unforgettable Love which was pretty bad, Crush which was absolutely lovely 1st half half and terrible second, and Glory which is just kinda plotless and forgettable).

Loved the 1st half but the 2nd half feels almost like a completely different drama. What made it special and unique in the 1st half was turned into a cliche and unoriginal cdrama. Very disappointing. Also disappointed how controlling and overbearing they made the ML in the 2nd half.

Drama is starting to get better! I need them to hurry and stop being so cold!
