its depressing... it definitely won't have a happy ending. I spoiled myself by reading wikipedia. Not to mention…
I mean ratings are opinion based. So just because this might be someone's cup of tea dosen't mean someone should change their rating to accommodate those people. If someone dosen't like super depressing things then that will of course affect the rating. And the rating isn't even that bad. True, it's not super high but the rating isn't at a point where I would write it off. And if someone has watched half a drama and still doesn't like it then they have every right to rate it. If the drama can't change someones opinion by the halfway mark then the drama wont change their opinion much by the end. I mean even watching 10 eps can be a good enough gauge on how a drama will progress and enough for people to form an opinion to rate it. I know it can be frustrating when a drama we like gets poor reviews. If you are worried friends of yours will skip over this because of the rating then spread the love by word of mouth.

Your opinion should be based on the series itself, not on news regarding the actors' career.
I was responding to your comment where you say "GMMtv deosnt care about their career as a couple". And your intitial post about hating the F4 news. My response was in response to those comments and my assumption in what you meant by them (as you made it sound you hated them taking a new role that wasn't WatTine).

in as much as i support Bright and Win's individual career, i just think it's too soon for this. Before i became…
I'm confused by these sentiments. You can still enjoy their characters in the drama as F4 and 2gether are totally different things. They are actors playing fictional roles, and them playing a role in a different drama shouldn't affect your enjoyment of this drama in the least. Wat and Tine are fictional characters played by actors who will be playing different fictional characters. Don't mistake that Bright and Win are really Wat and Tine. That's not fair to them as actors.

But their career isn't and shouldn't be about them as a couple. They did a job of playing a role in a drama and now they are moving on to other jobs and oppurtunities. It's not fair to them for you to be against a series because they aren't a couple. You also are doing the opposite of helping these wonderful actors by doing this, instead you are hurting them.

Ok...... Just saw the trailer. I can expect it is possibly another terribly directed drama like Love Last 2 Minds.…
Not sure why you are bringing up Yang Zi. She wasn't in a drama with him. She was in the drama Destiny of White Snake with Allen Ren while Alan Yu was in Legend of White Snake with Ju Jing Yi. Different dramas and actresses.

But on another note. Fair Xing is a wonderful actress and just the trailer alone you can see that. But, you can't keep saying every drama he was in is because of a bad director. He was passable in Go Princess Go and also TMOPB but that's because he was not the ML. He is fine as side characters but he just isn't skilled enough to carry a drama. Maybe he will surprise us but from the trailer alone he looks exactly the same as all his other dramas. As everyone says, Alan Yu is Alan Yu because he is exactly the same in every drama ever.

And yes I'm sure a lot of actors out there have atleast 1 dud role (or more), but it's telling when EVERY role is a bad role. I try to always give actors the benefit of the doubt but when they are consistently bad then it gets harder and harder to do so.

I'm sure he is a wonderful person and I have nothing against him personally. I just wish actors with actual talent and skill would be cast over someone who is nothing more than a pretty face.

But I will atleast give the drama a try, for Fair Xing alone, and hope maybe Alan has improved.

@ sharredHi. Where did u watch ep #10? I only found it up to ep #9? Please share the link. Thanks!
I've not looked at YT version but I assume it's the DVD version. But you can tell by the episode length as all the eps will be about 45 min long.

There is a DVD and a TV version. The TV version is cut differently from the DVD version (its also more heavily edited). Right now there are only 9 DVD eps out while there are 10 TV eps out but they are pretty much the same content. iQiyi and Viki have the DVD version which is actually the better version (as it's like the directors cut).

Ep 9 for TV version was only 28 min. long while the DVD version was 45 min. long.

So don't worry you aren't missing out on an episide!

Why do they suddenly keep hiring Leo Luo as male lead after he became well known in ashes of love. Did you see…
I personally think he did an amazing job in AoL and that scene where his mom died I really felt for him and thought he acted out the scene wonderfully. I had never seen him in anything before so it was a surprise how much I liked him in AoL, and his character actually ended up as one of my favorites in the drama. His character broke my heart. And then he went and broke my heart again in Princess Silver. I personally think he is a great actor so I'm glad he is getting a lot of roles.

I'm just looking at your watch list and the hypocrisy is astonishing. Also - kind of weird you have this perverted…
You are cute aren't you. Your whole post is nothing but assumptions. Come back when you have actual facts as you are writing like you know me and others intimately (unless you are a stalker).

Also, please re-read my post (or have someone explain to you as you are struggling to comprehend) that you can still watch and enjoy this drama. I have nothing against anyone liking this drama so why are you having such a breakdown that I or others see an issue in a drama and point it out? Find my post where I am condemning or telling people you can't watch and enjoy this drama. I dare you to. And pointing out when a drama has problematic issues is just the same as pointing out when a drama has bad acting or a bad plot. It's a criticism and people are allowed to criticize a drama just as people are allowed to praise a drama. You yourself are being hypocritical to try and silence this criticism and only allow praise.

Also, accepting and respecting other peoples races and cultures should be a worldwide effort.

Anyways, I tried to educate you but if you don't want to learn than that's on you so I wont bother to pointlessly engage with you anymore. Feel free to respond as I bet it will make you feel special and powerful to get the last word lol Have a good day my friend :)

It seems its vieweship rating is high in South Korea. The rating of 2nd episode is also good, which means people…
Either that or they are seeing what the controversy is. It had lots of bad responses from knetizens afterall. I think next week ratings will be more of a better example of how people feel about the drama.

But either way, people put way to much emphasis on viewer ratings. There have been plenty of amazing dramas with low ratings and awful dramas with high ratings. Ratings does not mean a drama is good or bad and it also doesn't validate or invalidate your opinion of a drama. If you enjoy it, watch it, if not, than don't.

How is Amruta screwing others? Pretty sure racism is the thing that screws other people over. So sad that racism gets in the way of your insular bubble. But I didn't see anywhere that Amruta said you can't watch this drama. I've watched dramas with problematic things before, and even enjoyed some, but I am still aware and don't ignore when they do have problematic issues. You and others can definitely watch and enjoy this drama, just educate yourself on the issues and be aware that there ARE issues. There is absolutely nothing hypocritical about having watched and enjoyed dramas with issues so stop deflecting the issue and trying to undermine others by crying hypocrite.

TLDR; this drama has issues but you can still enjoy this drama just be aware it DOES have problematic issues and don't ignore them.

50 episodes? I've heard new dramas are supposed to have a limit of 40 episodes now or does that only apply to…
I think there is a time period before that will go into practice as a lot of the dramas airing now were produced probably about 1-2 years previously. There are currently a few dramas airing with over 40 episodes, like The Winner is Love (48), Love in Between (43), and Love Designer (51) to name a few.

Title My Girl
I'm so disappointed. The trailer (and iirc, the synopsis) originally made it seem she was the CEO and he was her personal assistant, but that's not true at all. He is the CEO and she has mental issues. I was so looking forward to a cute romcom centered around the woman being in a position of power, but I guess not :( My sadness is as vast as an ocean.

Boy oh boy is the FL dubbed voice obnoxious and grating. Couldn't they have gotten someone who doesn't sound like…
I really tried with this drama but after 11 episodes I just can't take the FL anymore. She is one of the most obnoxious FL I've seen in a long time, to the point I am despising her. I thought it was her dubbed voice initially but the actress (Zhao Zhao Yi) is just bad. The character could have been funny and likable in a more skilled actresses hands, but this actresses was not it. So you have a badly dubbed voice + a bad actress and a you get a character that is hard to watch. The ML was the only thing keeping me invested. His character is wonderful and funny and the actor (Yuan Hao) is really doing a good job with his role. Sadly, he is carrying the whole drama and I just can't continue when I hate half of the OTP :(

@ethidda it is related as it's the same production group that did Well Intended Love. Both the writers and director worked on Well Intended Love. Which is why I plan to stay very VERY far away from this drama (I don't find this production groups idea of romance romantic at all but horrific).

I mean, the Princess Agents author did plagiarize parts of the Novoland Pearl Eclipse novel so that makes sense haha

I mean, lots of idols actually ended up being good actors, while some actual actors are really horrible.
True! There are some really talented idol actors and some really bad actors out there. I think I should have clarified by saying a talented actor haha. Because from what I've heard from others Kris Wu definitely does not fall into the category of being a talented actor. Hopefully he has improved and surprises us.
