I think Ugly Duckling: Perfect Match is my favourite Thai drama of all time - with Rak Lon Jai Nai-Klaeng Joob (Kiss Me) in the number 2 spot and Full House (Thai version) in third. In fact it was Perfect Match that had me hunting down more of Push (above in the smaller poster of Ugly Duckling) and Mike and Aom's work (she was EXCELLENT in the GL story Yes or No? and Yes or No 2). Although there's not as much of Mike and Aom around at that moment sadly.
I have never seen a Thai drama, can someone recommend one?
Alex Chang - (in alpha order) Bangkok Traffic Love Story Full House (Thai Version) Love Books Love Series: Dark Fairy Tale Love Books Love Series: Secret & Summer My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 My Dear Loser: Happy Ever After My Dear Loser: Monster Romance Rak Lon Jai Nai-Klaeng Joob (aka Kiss Me), Ugly Duckling Perfect Match U-Prince - Lovely Geologist, Single Lawyer and Crazy Artist (those are the three best from the series). DON'T watch the Handsome Cowboy unless you like the whole slap/kiss stuff.) Wannueng Jaa Pben Superstar (aka I wanna be a Sup’tar) Will You Marry Me (aka Waen Dok Mai) I have to say in the more serious Thai romance dramas there's a LOT of the 'slap/kiss' stuff, so you might better off sticking to the romcoms.
If you like BL then there's a TON - 2 Moons (the best of the best) Love Sick SOTUS and SOTUS 2 Together With Me (season 2 of this is still airing currently).
Do NOT bother with Bad Romance (it was just bad.) Love by Chance, Kiss The Series and Bromance the Series were recommended by a friend but I haven't got round to watching them yet and Make it Right (s1 & s2) was okay.
I really don't like seeing Push being the bad guy again. I think he was at his best in Ugly Duckling: Perfect Match. But when he did U-Prince: The Handsome Cowboy, it seemed to start a trend of him playing these abusive roles. It's a shame because he's such a nice guy and a good actor..... :(
This has the most f***ed up ending in the history of Dramaland - IF it follows the Korean original which made me scream and throw things. If you've seen Apple of My Eye, you'll know what I mean.......
@Trouble-chan To answer your question, yes, it will have a happy ending, (with a wedding?, not sure on that) and…
blacksky1263 - No, I completely understand what you mean. As the child of a serial womaniser who made my late mum's life hell with his multitude of mistresses right up until the day she died. But I know someone who made a huge mistake and cheated on his fiancee after a REALLY drunken night out with friends. He DEEPLY regretted it and, he swore it would never happen again, it never has. So I think there's two types of cheaters - those like my father who just cheat for kicks, giggles and to hurt their families and those like my friend who made a one time mistake.
It crucified him but I told him NOT to tell his fiancee because him freeing up his own conscience for HIS peace of mind was NOT what was important - the more he suffered from guilt the more he'd know not to do it ever again. He even changed his job so he worked in an entirely different part of London. Now 17 years later they're still happily married and have two boys. So I think it depends - my father shouldn't have been given all those chances (he's still doing it with the harem he's dating now - I don't get involved. My mum got me to promise to keep an eye on him and I do, but his health is my concern, nothing else). But my friend did deserve that chance.
BUT, like you, I've been on Knock's side since Bad Romance because Korn pushed and pushed for Knock to be with him, then - in Bad Romance - was so dismissive because he hadn't come out to his family.
Sorry but... Underage? Where did you see that? All of the cast is of legal age, and I guess the characters as…
On a plus side, if there is any, is that the gigolos aren't in their mid 30s (the usual age for that style of work) and the girls still 16....now that WOULD be unwatchable and hugely creepy. So hopefully it's not what we're thinking and the trailer's very misleading. :)

SangoChama - the trailer appears to have them in what looks like a high school setting..... so I'm guessing the boys are 17/18 tops........though the gjrls only look about 16. Not to mention gigolos that young are underage compared to their older counterparts.
Just to check - does this have a happy ending? Spoilers I've read and the trailers (father's reaction) has me doubting a happy outcome; but hey PLEASE prove me wrong because, aside from Phana and Wayo, this is the only other gay couple I have wanted to see make it in a very long time (since lovesick really).
Well, that's at least made my suffering worthwhile - it's why I wrote the review in the first place. I NEVER wanted…
Remind me to tell you about the promise I made my late father in law (or as I liked to call him - Satan).....in all seriousness we think the only reason my mother in law is still alive is because hell has a restraining order and there ain't no way she's ever getting into heaven.....even purgatory doesn't want her. ;D

Thanks - huskies are lovely until they blow their coats (twice a year). we go through a hoover a year! Glad you're not suffering negative noodles - no one needs that, if I could ditch mine I would. lol!
At the end of this comment, I will spoil the ending to anyone who is curious. So don't read more if you don't a…
Akaisora -- THANK YOU so much; I am so done with sad endings because I should be a dried out husk with the rivers of tears I've shed. I'm now actively trying to avoid them and, I admit, the premise didn't give me hope of a happy ending, so now I can watch it and not worry. THANK YOU again. (*^▽^*)
That was wonderful and so are you - without subbers like you, especially solo subbers like yourself, people like me would be rowing our way through treacle trying to work out what's going on with our 3 words of Korean.....trust me, it's NOT pretty. So THANK YOU - genuinely, THANK YOU for all you do, including this article which was informative and funny but also jaw dropping in what you have to suffer for us.
