This is my way of listing it (for my order of preference):- 1. Kiss Me 2. Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo (1&2) 3. It Started with a Kiss and They Kissed Again 4. Playful Kiss 5. Say That You Love Me 6. Mischievous Kiss The Movies 7. Miss in Kiss
I haven't seen Say That You Love Me Yet......someone actually told me it WASN'T about InK....so I will be watching it soon. That said, it can't be worse than Miss in Kiss....NOTHING can be worse than Miss in Kiss......lol!
EDIT -- started watching Say That You Love Me, and I was right; it's STILL better than Miss in Kiss. Admittedly, I've got a long way to go to finish it.....but I doubt it'll be worse from here (ep3) at this point in MiK I was already desperate to scratch out my eyes and cut out my brain! So I've put it into the list above at no.5 as I think it's better than the movies.
He is deeply reflecting on his actions and I dont if any of you were in his position would want any bad comments...…
Vkookminj -- just a shout out to an ARMY. I'm an ARMY mum, my daughter is ARMY - her bias is Namjoon, her bias breaker is Hobi. I ADORE their music and their love of ARMY. They're like adopted sons - I'm a bit too old to have a bias though! lol!
As to this situation I think it would be best to go by the old line of 'innocent until proven guilty'. I think too many people are quick to judge. If a girl cannot be condemned for getting out of her depth with a man when SHE is drunk, then a man cannot be blamed when doing the same when HE is drunk.
As a woman I do find this sudden loathing of all things male more than a little alarming. NOT all women are saints and NOT all men are sinners - there are both on both sides of the fence and we would do well to remember that. As a rape victim and a victim of abuse at the hands of an ex-boyfriend I would be LOATHE to blame the entire male population for his actions (I would never have met my wonderful husband for one thing)- but that is, apparently, what we are doing now. If a man is accused then he is automatically guilty. To me this is as bad as saying he is automatically innocent because he's a man.
Naoki did die, I hated it. I don't understand why he had too. I get the siblings thing but I don't think he acted…
I say we forget their ending and stick with our version; I believe he didn't die - he collapsed and she went to him and he had an operation for whatever was wrong with him and then they carried on as brother and sister, fighting their feelings. Then suddenly, two years down the line (not so long they don't get the rest of their lives together) the old sod croaks and they find a letter begging for forgiveness for his selfishness. He said that he knew she wasn't really his daughter, that her mother made a mistake but he was lonely and his son never visited....etc, etc.
They move away from the house that held so many lies, had a child and lived happily together. Suck on that writers!
Have you seen him in Oh My General? He's young, give him time. IMHO he's doing great in OMG. He seems drawn to…
I REALLY like him as a person. I've seen interviews with him and he's SO nervous and shy, UNTIL the interviewer asks about his wife and baby and then his whole face lights up and he sort of creeps out of his shell. He readily admits he's painfully shy and very socially awkward.
I really don't think he's experienced enough for lead roles...YET. But he's VERY good in support roles. I agree - given time he will do well; I just wish they would give him a break and let him hone his skills on support roles for a while. It will help him with his shyness too. I say this as someone who was the same when I was younger (still am occasionally) and who's daughter is like it now.
But you're right, he's BEST point is he NEVER does repetitive roles which is so nice to see. I do like him a lot; he's such a nice guy.
She said that she liked him and wanted to tell him that for a long time, he smiled she smiled :D and left us all…
Open endings drive me NUTS. I want either a season 2 or a conclusion...don't tell me 'it's up to me' how I 'interpret' the final scenes....I will CUT you (the writers). XD
LOOOOL but how come the cat hates her human so much? she is her guardian after all...
Likewise, ALL my animals are rescues and we've had some very troubled ones down the years, but this cat (I'm pretty sure) is almost feral. We respect her almost wild nature, but my MiL treats her like she's a human baby. I mean my MiL is the epitomy of 'crazy cat lady'!!
I swear that cat has had her trapped in her seat because she wanted a lap and even though my MiL wanted some tea and a biscuit that cat spat at her every time she tried to move! Luckily she could reach the toy (some loose pigeon feathers glued to a string and attached to a stick that I made it) and after 3 hours of sitting immobile, managed to entice it off. I told her to just stand up....but apparently the "dear little soul" would try and BITE her. Csn you imagine that cat alone with her iin human form?! Rofl!
She said that she liked him and wanted to tell him that for a long time, he smiled she smiled :D and left us all…
Oh God thank you...i thouht I'd missed something important...apparently not, and EVERYone's equally confused. Thank you again for telling me. Kind of an annoyjng ending though, right?
LOOOOL but how come the cat hates her human so much? she is her guardian after all...
I have no idea......I mean the cat is super independent (even by cat standards) and WE do give her space when she wants it. She is also a thug (the cat, not my MiL -she just hates me verbally) and has terrorised our dogs to the point where they don't even like visiting if she's in the same room (and they LIKE cats...I think they both think they're some kind or weird puppy); so maybe she doesn't like that, unlike us, the MiL follows her around fussing over her when all she wants 'alone time' (the cat, not the MiL)...Lol!! All I know for sure and certain is the way that little cat looks at her, if the Devil didn't already have a restraining order, my MiL would be down there already organising a coup! ;)
Thank you for just wanting me to watch it even more!! lol! Any idea where it can be watched? Subbed would be good,…
You are SO kind, THANK YOU so much! I'm learning a few languages but because of mild brain damage due to strokes it's a slow process; on the plus side I can say sorry and I love you in all of them and ask for food and drink in Japanese, so at least I won't upset anyone and in Japan I won't go hungry or thirsty!! XD
Technically it's not release until 27th of this month. However, a few months ago China made a raft of new 'modesty…
Okay, let me start by saying I am NOT trying to provoke you. I do not have a lesbian friend out there, that is MY (very much loved) cousin HERE. She has children with her partner (via IVF) and is very happy. I DO have a gay friend who I ASKED about the new 'modesty laws/rules' and HE was the one that spoke about how the MALE gay community is being seen at large out there. HE told me about what's going on and he said about the gay community going underground was in the mainstream. He also said gay couples (I'm guessing male) are leaving the country (not in droves; but there are more leaving now than before).
I would also point out that BL and Yaoi was made before in China, but that they nearly always ended up with one or both dying or breaking up to 'prove' how 'bad' their 'lifestyle choices' were. There was even a comment made about Uncontrolled Love not being theatrically released with the happy ending because the censors didn't want Chinese teens to 'think that kind of lifestyle choice was acceptable'.
BUT, if you say your people are fighting back against the totalitarian government then fair enough. I didn't say that the Chinese people had forgotten Tianamen or indeed any other butchery that took place - more that you weren't allowed to repeat the free speech shown there. Weren't allowed to go back and pay respects to those that died in those places. As whilst heroes to us, they are enemies of the state there.
I really believe if more had supported the students at that time (including my government here in the UK and other governments around the world) then more good would've come from the sacrifice so many innocent souls made. The young man run over by the tank is the one person we remember so well because those images were flashed around the world.
I would LOVE to visit China some day - I am actually learning (simplified) Mandarin right now. Spoken only as my brain damage from 2 strokes won't let me recognise and retain the written language; I've even lost the ability to read and write Gaelic, which I could do before.
I watched a documentary about elderly British celebrities who went out there to see how the elderly were treated and I will say your Olders are treated SO much BETTER than ours. My mother in law hates me, but I'm still looking after her because if she went into a care home, I wouldn't give her a week before an 'accident' took place.
I didn't like how they did NOT respect ANY of the Chinese customs and just barked "xiexie" at everyone whilst then insulting them in English. I was MORTIFIED and ashamed of these people going to another country and behaving so terribly.
I like the Chinese Working Class; but your government worries me. My daughter identifies as Pan and I have no idea what she would be allowed to do or say out there; could she date? Could we bring her partner (if they were a woman or transgender) when starts dating (she's 20 and concerned only with working right now) out there and not be considered offensive to anyone? I don't wish to disrespect people's customs in THEIR country - but I also don't want to support a regime that suppresses it's people and also discriminates against sections of society.
One thing I will say against my own country is we are ULTRA Politically Correct and so 'positive discrimination' against the majority is seen as a good thing. The bad feeling and hatred this engenders is HUGE. So we are as bad as your government but at the opposite end of the spectrum. I would love us all to find the middle ground and just treat each other like PEOPLE than label us all.
for me....well, I'm now more confused than ever - if you what you say is correct (and as you were born and raised in China why shouldn't I?) Then what does that say about my friend's view who was also raised there? What does it say about ANY media that might be painting a misleading picture? it makes me question their motives....China is HELPING the UK try and get their Brexit and still do well, so why are we being incited to hate the country?
One thing I do have to say though - no one in the UK are getting their 'heads bashed in' for being gay, or any other minority. Yes we have terrorist attacks because our government refuses to round up the few extremists spreading their own hate of those who aren't islamic; but mostly we all get along.
To be fair we HAVE to - there's laws about racism, religion, colour and a myriad of other 'isms' we cannot say anything derogatory about. But if we're workers of this country - whether born and raised here or newly settled and integrating - we are the ones treated with discrimination. If we say we're proud of our country, we're accused of being racist. If we say we don't want to be ruled by Europe and want govern ourselves; we're accused of being xenophobic. If we fly the Union Jack or Flag of St. George we're told to take it down as it's racist.
I suppose, when I think about it, we have similar problems - just on the Ultra left/liberal end of the scale to your Ultra right/conservative end of it. We're fighting it too in our own way - but not making much headway.
However, when a president gets made such 'for life' I'm not sure that's a good thing. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely is what they say, and has been proven true throughout history.
But your culture, food and history is something really interests me. But maybe I'll wait until things change a more. But PLEASE don't stop fighting; we support YOU and the rest of the Chinese people, though not the netizens...not the netizens anywhere actually.
Also very happy to hear that you can bypass the firewall - that really made me happy.
too bad the ending was so dumb. And what was with the last scene in the train?
He died......he was on his way back to see her, but as his sister, and his (their) father. He was trying to put the deep romantic love he had for her to one side (as she was for him). He'd sent her a letter teling her and then he died on the train....that's why he didn't get off with the little girl
Naoki did die, I hated it. I don't understand why he had too. I get the siblings thing but I don't think he acted…
Thanks for confirming it - i kind've guessed, but was hoping I was wrong. However, I wouldn't believe a single word that came out of the mouths of the other adults though. They'd lied to their kids, each other and pretty much anyone who'd listen - I'm not even sure THEY knew what was the real truth anymore. I think i cried out of frustration and anger as well as sadness.
I know I'm clutching at straws but I do wonder if his father said they were siblings because of his own selfishness - i mean she stayed with him and began looking after him and keeping him company and he KNEW she would draw his son back home more often too (as he said in the letter). So for the old man it was a win/win. No doubt there would be a note they'd have found after his death admitting the truth and begging for forgiveness, or whatever.....
I know, I know....a stupid sad, old romantic I am! Lol!
But yeah we can confirm the writers wre twisted sadists......good to know. T-T Thanks again - genuinely appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Thank you for just wanting me to watch it even more!! lol! Any idea where it can be watched? Subbed would be good,…
Listen thank you for taking the time to give me these links. I GENUINELY appreciate it, you're a total angel. THANK YOU. It looks SO good; a real 'beauty and the beast' type (but in this case a man who believes he's a beast rather than actually being one).
Technically it's not release until 27th of this month. However, a few months ago China made a raft of new 'modesty…
TianQi - I am NOT an ally to a government that gives a supposedly 'democratic' president the title 'president for life' and then these new rules come out. I actually know a NATIVE Chinese person who tells me it's TERRIBLE out there for the LGBT. Most of the underground is fair enough and the rest is heading underground to escape censorship.
There IS a ban on LGBT entertainment and it's impossible for anyone who is LGBT to be public about it. It's been spoken about all over Asia as well as here in the West. Also I'm told that it's TRUE that many gay couples are marrying similarly gay couples of the opposite sex and pretending to be straight in public and co-habiting with both couples to satisfy the bigots around them and in the government.
THAT is a terrible thing to force a human being to do just to be able to live in mainstream society. Can you imagine you and YOUR partner being forced into marriages with strangers under any reason? But just so you won't be discriminated against because the person you love just happens to be the same gender as you is right out there as no.1 in the NOT acceptable list.
I am also NOT an ally to a country that supports tyranny - such as North Korea. The people of North Korea are suffering miserable, suffering lives as shown by those who've defected recently.
I understand you love your country - but you cannot defend a tyrant and the reason YOUR internet is NOT 'free' (as in UNcensored as ours IS) is because YOUR leader wants to ensure you don't get too many ideas about free will and democracy. That's the REAL reason tattoos, LGBT, rap, hiphop and all the rest are frowned on - individuality is NOT acceptable under communism. Oh and whether 'guidelines' or hard laws I'm guessing by next year all those in the 'frowned on' categories will be invisible, just as the LGBT entertainment industry is already.
My country is a mess too - but I can say that out loud and outside, even to my country's leader's FACE, without fear of facing retribution for not 'towing the party line'. That is difference between MY country and yours. You've also got to remember we in the West remember Tienanmen Square and the butchered students, including the brave soul who was RUN OVER by a TANK. NO ONE just 'forgets' that kind of government butchery which was shown ALL OVER the world.
I SUPPORT utterly TAIWAN as they allow gay marriage and are, at a GOVERNMENT level, opposing and undoing LGBT discrimination. They ARE making progress. NOT China - your laws are getting STRICTER and NOT more open. Same with Japan who will allow civil partnerships or Thailand that, whilst gay marriage isn't illegal, have a fairly open view on it and do allow people to have celebrations and 'promise ceremonies' that are like (not legally binding) weddings.
Sorry to rant - but I have a lesbian cousin and I KNOW how she, her partner and their children (via IVF) would suffer if they were Chinese - I've been told by a gay Chinese person who was living in China until the end of April this year. I don't like South Korea's treatment of gays much either, but it's not as bad as China's.
The only ones worse are Ukraine, North Korea , Russia and the Middle East. Please do NOT defend the indefensible. China has its tech to be proud of and its economy - that's not to be sniffed at; it's a powerhouse in those areas - more than anywhere else and something the workers of China (who are the ones making possible) should be very proud of. So choose that to speak about.
Weibo, almost slave labour of some workers and all the rest; the netizens there who only go online to cyberbully some poor soul, the hate that is spat at those who are considered NOT to be behaving as they should or wearing what they should....that is NOT something to be mentioning.
Like said - sorry to rant; but I don't want others to suffer for just LOVING SOMEONE, for being born in the wrong body, or not dressing 'right', behaving 'right' or doing things that will 'promote the People's Republic of China in a positive way to the rest of the world'. I know I would fight the world to protect my cousin, her partner and their kids.
PS. Please excuse errors - I've had a couple of strokes and have some brain damage which makes things a bit harder for me.
I had watched the first five episodes and i admit that this drama will probably one of the best currently airing…
Thank you for just wanting me to watch it even more!! lol! Any idea where it can be watched? Subbed would be good, but I'm that desperate I'd watch it raw too!!
She's a minor, there won't be any romance. Or at least I hope not.
No I think it's basically how this one boy helps her come out of her shell by befriending her and her having a crush on him; more a slice of life movie than romance one. Actually that would be nice because it would show that not all crushes end in heartbreak for one or both individuals - sometimes, even if there's no romance, good things happen. Not sure of course but going by the trailer this seems the most likely. :)
1. Kiss Me
2. Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo (1&2)
3. It Started with a Kiss and They Kissed Again

Just too angry with the legitimate version.
