yeah if this article is a success i am thinking of doing kimi wa petto and itazura next when I have watched the…
Ohh, those would be good subjects! I forgot about Kimi wa Petto.....that's had a few too hasn't it? I do love Itazura na Kiss though - I've watched them ALL, no joke! AND more than once, including the anime!! XD XD
Itazura na Kiss - 1 manga, 1 anime, 7 adaptations and counting .....STILL brilliant. Lol! Some mangas and animes can stans the constant retelling - even if each version isn't always good.
Anyone know whee I can watch the whole drama? Subbed would be good, but I'm happy with raw too. Sadly dramanice only has the first three episodes and it's driving me mad I can't watch more... THANK YOU!! :D
I thought the same when I read the synopsis but, watching the trailer (admittedly without subs), it looks different to Secret....which is good because Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum will own that drama as theirs for life.
However I do really like Zhang Han since I saw him him in Boss and Me; sadly a lot of his other dramas have only been watchable because of his and other cast members acting (stories were dire; A Different Kind of Pretty Man was the worst).
For this I actually got more of You are My Sunshine feeling from the rivalry of the two main male characters; at least in the trailer. Subs would've helped and would show I'm probably completely wrong! Lol! Definitely going to watch this though, it looks good. :)
So can someone confirm the two following queries I have - 1. Did he die on the train at the end (if so why did we have no warning he was even ill apart from the fall in the tunnel)? 2. Were they definitely related for sure? Seems to me a DNA test would be prudent because of the amount of lies there were already; I wouldn't be surprised if that was another one started by her mother and the abusive father? If the answer is yes to both these questions, then I can only say the writers wre some seriously twisted sadists because the lead couple were clearly completely, totally and utterly soulmates and in love. Definitely couldn't watch this again, i can't cry that much too often.
Maybe I didn’t look hard enough, but I cannot find this film online. Link please?
Technically it's not release until 27th of this month. However, a few months ago China made a raft of new 'modesty laws' - now, these are draconian to say the least, and one of them is that ALL LGBT entertainment is completely banned from that date and ALL the people connected with LGBT entertainment are also banned from working in China. So the likelihood is this drama will NEVER see the light of day. Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news.
And this is why I don't bother with Chinese BL.....not that there'll be any more because of the new 'modesty laws' one if which has banned LGBT entertainment and all those linked with it.
Someone had this on their BL list - but it's not BL; it's more a light bromance. A shame because, although it's a lovely movie, I think making it BL would've worked better.
I think the whole point of the jerk lead is that he changes when he meets the girl and falls for her - it's him realising that he won't keep her beside him if he doesn't change or she shows him she loves him regardless (usually the lead is actually damaged rather than just a simple jerk in those cases) and so he mellows.
Obviously there's exceptions to that rule where you want her with the Second Lead - Boys over Flowers is the classic go-to example of the guy who remains a jerk and the girl just becomes a doormat for his jerkness.
For me I prefer the ones where the girl is a POSITIVE influence on the jerk guy - the ones where she becomes a doormat are just not appealing though they're few and far between.
It's called the 'Yoda was drunk when he used Google Translate' version..... ;)
I do actually, more for fun than anything - my daughter says I should write about some of the madness that's my life (like the time I set fire to AND flooded our kitchen at the SAME time whilst involved in my first ever attempt to make damson jam.....I didn't even know jam COULD catch fire.
Of course my family now love to play Adele's 'Set Fire to the Rain' whenever I'm in the kitchen and my husband joked that when I said I could burn water when we started dating he thought I was joking!)
But then i really doubt people wou.d believe half the stuff that has GENUINELY happened - like the fire/flood (and which has a whole sub story as, when cooked, damsons go the colour of blood......that was also a problem)! XD XD
That trailer is fake as f...k......The Si Won clips were from She was Pretty and King of Dramas! I'm currently re-watching She was Pretty for the Nth time and JUST watched that clip of him in the grey woolly hat!
That crossed my mind - though many people truly believe they didn't die in the end.......so, perhaps they won't…
Oh my GOD!! You're YOU!! I THOUGHT i recognised you!! Oh Lord, was it that long ago?! Yes, yes, I remember (no small feat for me given my swiss cheese brain!). Oh it's really genuinely lovely to chat to you again. *beams*
It's release date is AFTER the new 'modesty laws' are in place, one of which bans ALL LGBT centric entertainement and entertainers. So i sincerely doubt this will EVER see the light of day now. It's truly breathtaking, in a sad way, how BACKWARD the Chinese government is regarding LGBT - well, and tattoos, hiphop and rap....all of which is banned. But then non conformity is their enemy I suppose. Not a country I want to visit.
