I've seen all their movies together - they're my favourites of all their roles. I've seen others they've done with other actors, but there's just a little bit of magic when they work together that I love seeing. I actually hoped they were a couple when I saw It Takes a Man and a Woman and then followed it back to the first movie, but was just as happy to hear they're very close friends instead. :)
It seem he won't. And he also didn't in The King's Woman. Now I wonder if he ever gets the girl in any drama/movie?
I have to admit - I zipped through all his work I could find online before I replied here and no, not yet. Admittedly only cursory viewing, but he's not got the girl once.
Admittedly he's not always up for the girl (such as with O2O) but when he is he's always left out in the cold. Poor guy; and he's so good as well - he really has to be the main lead for the girl soon, surely? Especially with Dilraba, apparently he's NEVER been her OTP in ANY dramas he's been in with her.
I understand the blocks in their relationship - basically yes, his wife was in their daughter's body.... but it WAS their daughter's BODY; genetically it was wrong on a lot of levels. Therefore there was no way for them to be physically together as a couple.
However, I think Heisuke should've been honest and let Naoko move on after he told her that there was no possible way for them to be together as a couple. The way he ended up doing it was hurtful and wrong.
As to those saying Naoko cheated on Heisuke, I don't agree - she was stuck in her daughter's body and there was no way for them to be a happy couple because, to everyone who knew them, he would've been seen to be having a relationship with his biological daughter - still taboo just about everywhere and for very good reasons.
Hey Jake, that's what I was told by a Chinese pal - the censors were responding to accusations that too many…
Oh absolutely - the music, the story, the chenistry between the leads.....PERFECTION. The new one of series 2, Right or Wrong, is also really, really good. A lot of affection, touching, hugging - not a lot of passion. But it was still good as a lot of couples are very touchy feely (like me and my husband) and not 24/7 passion.
Just LOVE those stories - though, I didn't really My Hero; it was just a bit 'm'eh' for me. :)

Shuurei -- I have to say I find it hard to learn; I usually listen to the speaker and learn the easier words like okay, hello, etc and then work out others from vocal inflections. It takes a lot of concentration so finding bits of English in there really throws me. But I do love the Filipino language on its own. :)
There's a Filipino couple that I love - ummm, they're older (probably in their 30s-40s) and always star together. The most recent film I saw them in was Finally Found Someone - I LOVE them.....their movies are such feel good romance dramas. :)
Why would the ending change from the original? It was a webtoon first, then a drama and now a movie. What they…
Thanks for that - I hadn't been sure about it as a lot of people were a bit sniffy over it, but I'll definitely move it closer to the top of my 'must watch' list. :)
Pookie -- you and me both.......he was brilliant in Voice and Temperature of Love; but I will ALWAYS love him most in Antique Bakery and Coffee Prince. :)

The original drama ended up being very open and there was no real closure. I agree a second season of the original would've worked better - but if this has closure I'll settle for it.

These are all just my opinions though..... :)
