It beggars belief that people here apparently believe China is the lord of the world and they can command a Taiwanese (GagaOOLala) and an American (Viki) streaming platform to stop airing a drama they bought with all the international streaming rights. Even the Hong Kong-owned Viu does not fall under the streaming regulation of mainland China.

Chinese government has no control over international streaming platforms, sugar pie, but keep trying.

It is actually not even the first time I come across something like that. I remember one drama was also postponed on all streaming platforms for a week with a similar "better viewing experience" explanation. I think it was Thai, but not sure.

The romance is obviously secondary here, it should have been obvious from the trailer already for anyone with half a brain. It is more about representation, soul-searching, identity and character development. My not-buddy Adrew never "sold you out", because he never had any intention or interest in catering your tunnel vision ilk who only care about their panties getting wet from boy couples.

There is no "disagreement" because you and your stablemates have zero opinion about the quality of this show. You only came here to do your tantrum as if anyone owed you the main lead boys being a couple as an outcome. It is the epitome of childish mindset on its own that you all think a fictional show owes you and should guarantee you any outcome in advance. Go back to thee kindergarten.

If anyone is spewing hate here that is your kind for the reasons clearly elaborated above. Feel free to downvote the show, kiddo. It makes it even more apparent how utterly ridiculous and unreliable the ratings are here, as well as why the BL fandom is being seen as increasingly emetic. I love BL shows myself a lot as well but I detest most of its fandom, and they are increasingly out of hand obviously. The hate campaign they did against the outstanding Hesu in Class 2 was also dispiceable and emetic indeed. (The straight couple in that show was literally marginal in terms of screentime anyway, but that is a side note oly)

The story has an openly queer volleyball team at its centre, and it is clear their personal dramas will be (they alrerady are) a substantial part of the narrative. 'Queerbaiting' is not when you are not given romance and lovey-dovey between boys, you ignorant dumbasses. This may have a love triangle also but it is clear the emphais is not on the romance - it was already clear from the trailer.

Writer-director Andrew Ivan Payawal is an LGBT member. He has a lot more to do with queerness than you sick fetisishers will ever have. He has already given us plenty of worthy LGBT-themed entertainment and so does he now. Get a frigging life, you pathetic shits.
