Everyone can have their opinion on the matter but:-I don't really like how you shaming Kaori for her lost of sex…
She does not care. She does not give a fuck about the emotional torture, manipulation these two guys had to go through, the damage their partners caused them, the scars they have left on both of them as they feel their needs are dirty and immoral. All she cares about they were cheeaaaattttiiiinnnnggggg, so they broke her bigoted SJW codex. Depressing read.

I agree that Fujisawa has issues. He is definately emotionally manipulating Sei, saying that he cares for him…
Apart from the fact that I get the shudders from this idiotic red flag/green flag category (the modern Y generation equivalent of black and white), may I ask which of the main leads of My Personal Weatherman qualifies as one? Neither, actually. I could argue several of the other examples too, but this is the most spectacularly unsuitable one.
On When It Rains, It Pours Feb 6, 2025
Bloody hell. I am a distinctly irreligious person but I swear I am about to start praying that all the sanctimonious "I haatteee cheeaaatttinnngggg" "I don't condode cheating", "cheating is baaaaaddddd" twats being struck by lightning in their buttholes, preferably reaching up to their nostrils.

There are myriads of worse things in the world one person can do to another, but  for these nutjobs they are all like anything goes when it comes to getting over. Infidelity is one of the most complex, complicated, greyest and least black and white acts in human relationships, yet whenever we get a solid, thought-provoking, nuanced, thoughtful and balanced approach to the subject matter (Dark Blue & Moonlight, I Promise You The Moon, Mood Indigo, The End of the World with You, Only Friends or this excellent When It Rains It Pours and many others) the comment section is always contaminated and invaded by these virtue signalling fuckwits like a spreading cancerous tumour.

Infidelity has been around since mankind is on the Earth and no, it is not always simple and sometimes it is literally inevitable or nearly is - whether we talk about straight, gay, bi, pansexual or whatever relationships. I have been straying several times in my life and my partners have been also straying several times. Sometimes I was at fault, sometimes my partner was at fault and sometimes the cheated party had to come to the conclusion that the cheating one had absolutely valid reasons for their act.

Sometimes it happens at your most vulnerable, challenged state of mind in the heat of the moment. Those who say each and every person can always say no and always have to break up first are simply lacking in any kind of empathy or basic understanding of the differences of situations and human nature.

And yes, sometimes it leads to breakup, sometimes it leads to irrevocable grudge, sometimes it leads to forgiveness and reconciliation and yes, sometimes it even helps to strengthen the bond after careful analysis.

You have no bloody right to say it is always wrong and that the only acceptable reaction is the rigid, resentment-filled, shallow judgemental take on the issue. If that is how you react when it happens to you, then it is your business, but don't dare to force your judgement on others if they experience it differently, especially if it happens to them. Know your place and respect other people's boundaries if you want to have yours respected. If people decide they understand and overcome the infidelity which has happened to them - as it very often is the case in life - butt out.

As for the main protagonists of this drama there is no need to "romanticize" their affair, because it is extremely romantic already. Irrespective of the outcome, the way these two guys find consolation in each other as they are seeking fulfilment after their partners repeatedly failing them, and culminating in a carnal union is simply beautiful. And if you still cannot see this, and in the name of faux moral you still side with their manipulative partners, disregarding their treatment of our heroes, then you are an insensitive hypocrite.

(Side note: the despicable moron who keeps coming back to aggressively trash and insult this drama and those who enjoy it has not only said a character deserved to be raped in Love Syndrome - as many others have remarked - but also trashed another user who rightfully criticized her when she said the mother of one of the protagonists in Love is like Poison deserved to be killed by her lover's henchmen because she dared to be a mistress of someone who might have been married (not even confirmed). And  this human garbage has the nerve to talk about morals here, and many of you are still pampering and babying her).

People don't like it when dramas are messy and more realistic it makes them uncomfortable.. they want rainbows…
Dark Blue & Moonlight is an excellent exploration of the complexities and complications of human relationships which portrays so well that infidelity is not a black and white issue and that there are several cases when it is not so simple like "break up and start a new" as these stupid and one-dimensional cheater-screamers imagine.

Some people getting all worked up over the private lives of fictional characters. Chill.
Most of them are immature and most likely virgin teenage girls with zero life experience, demanding everyone being as zero nuance instinct beings as they are

I have no problem with that series, I enjoy it a lot and I like their acting - just to be clear. I brought it up as an example only to point out how fucked the moral police is in mind.

Not a fan of cheating plot. So I will not watch further episode.
Don't let the door hit you in the arse the way out.

1. Cheater-screamers who have no problem with The Heart Killers, for instance, having contract killer protagonists who murder people like others change undies (not that I mind), but wallow in spasms and lose their shit when infidelity happens like it was the most deadly sin and the end of the world - TICKED.
2. Sex-phobic frigid ones who think it is totally okay to withhold sex from their partners without saying a word, and if the partner has any problem with this then it is their fault for being "animal in heat" and "horndog" - TICKED.
3. SA-obsessed freaks who seriously believe it is a sexual assault to VERBALLY ask your roommate to have sex with you or watch you jerking off - TICKED.
4. Belligerent amazons to whom despising/not liking a female character is misogyny by default - TICKED.

I hope if next week our boys finally decide to fill up each other's holes, they would do it after having quite a couple of drinks, so we won't have to miss the alcohol+sex=rape brigade either and therefore they could jump on the looney train to make the puritanical neo-Torquemada fan club of mydramalist complete.

Every single relationship and every single infidelity is different and cannot be judged one-sidedly, and above all no one has the right to say such sweeping blank statements like "never okay" or "it is wrong", especially when those to whom it happens experience it differently.

I think he kazuaki made it clear when they started living together that he will not be getting physical with sei.…
Kazuaki did not make it clear. He said "I cannot give you the relationship you want" but that is very vague and could be a lot of things (sexless relationship, relationship with less or very occasional sex, not being open about their relationship, etc.) And he never explicitly says he will never get physical with Sei. He either says things like "I don't like when you talk like that" or shuts the conversation down immediately and starts talking about something else or leaves. This is mildly but not so much different from what Kaori does.

Title Your Sky
I have read alot of your comments and you make some very astute and mindful observations. From your statements…
"No loving parent wants to see their child subject to malicious and vile attacks. "

So the so-called loving parent is who - to avoid their child being subject malicious and vile attacks - forces their kids to be who they are not and to live a miserable and unhappy life "safely".

Congrats.

Why did I jump into this drama without waiting to binge it? Now I'm stuck in this weekly torture, and it's driving…
To be honest, it has so many subtle nuances of character and dialogue, so many hidden thoughts and things to analyse and think about that it is actually much better to watch weekly than bingeing.
