Cranky because I go to watch the 4th episode and the only version available is the Mandarin dub because they are "working on the other dubs" This is the first time I've ever come across this, anyone know what is going on?

This was sooo sweet. And yet, dealt with some real issues. The fish kissing wasn't great, especially in a series that specifically deals with desire and sex in a relationship. I wish they would have pushed the actors to do more, like they pushed the script to deal with more in depth subject matter. But overall, absolutely everything else was amazing. I would love if the wave or JBL second seasons would find this show and give us a time jump to them both in college.
Outside of the kissing, my only other minor complaint was that I wish Sui had taken off the mask more when they were alone, especially when he was sleeping. Why would anyone wear a mask while they were sleeping? Especially for the reasons that he stated he wore it in the first place. I totally understood it when he went out. I even kind of understood it while in his room but earlier in the day when the potential of someone stopping by was higher. Although, I still would have wanted to see him with it just hanging of his face in that instance. But sleeping and making out...come one! He was literally getting ready to have sex with is just pulled down on his face and what sense does that make!?
Anyway, literally my only irritation. But the plot lines and the sweetness more that makes up for it.

The music pissed me off soo badly. It ruined many a scene for me.

Now that I have finished it, the only things I will complain about is I wish we had had more lore as to why Chita went around killing other Nour other than he was turned against his will. Like sure be mad, but did other Nour try to kill him and that was how he discovered he could burn them...why random Nour and not just the bad ones? So many questions, and as the big bad, it should have been made clearer his reasons, so that we could understand why he did what he did and sympathize with him in the end. While Dr. Ji's speech at the end kind of says it, it would have been great to hear from Chita more of why he was killing Nour. I will say, I agree with how Chita and Dr. Ji went out. It was a beautiful scene and it would have only been enhanced by understanding why Chita was ready to give it all up in the end, if they had explained his why. I really hope that ToeyPhoom get to work in another series together, because I am obsessed with them on IG, they are so cute together and I want a more, less tragic series for them.
The other thing I will complain about is not enough lore on Ken and James back story. The scene where James is dying and he goes to some other place, while visually cool, there needed to be more exposition as to what that all meant and why that meant he woke up. Was Ken the original Nour and the true love he buried James from a past life all this time? How did original James poke his fingers through original Ken's chest and give his life to him and why did that turn him into a Nour? It was so confusing. So they needed to tell us all of that through a monologue while they showed us that scene. Either that and/or then tie into his father being a Nour, which was NEVER discussed, and that was why he survived. Or the tears, which didn't make a lot of sense, but at least explain it. Or, the only real ending, which is James being turned into a Nour, after asking for it when he said he didn't want to die. Cause what do you mean, the story ends and Ken still has to live forever, but James is going to die eventually?! Those are my only complaints/critiques. I needed more back story as to why this all happened and how it all the puzzle pieces they showed us came together.
I was so happy they showed the brother and his friend get together in the end. They were cute and their presence in the last episode was just enough, considering they were the third couple. I hope we see more of them in the future.
Other than that, I really enjoyed the series. Except for the music. That rainbow scene where they reunited was almost ruined by that terrible song that was repeatedly played through out this series. But overall, a great series that I will miss.

I enjoyed the first episode more than I expected. I was a little nervous about the acting based on the trailer, but I didn't really have a problem with it in this episode. Some cringe moments, but it was mostly just me hating when someone gets done dirty like poor Gear did and they go a begging. That last scene especially was brutal! I hope we see some character growth with Gear as he gains confidence from Kanthi.
Side note: Gear's bedroom was amazing! And while I would never want to climb that high, if it had an elevator, if I was his age, it would be a dream come true!
Anyway, excited to see how this progresses.

I didn't say that Moth doesn't care about Dean, I said this EPISODE made it appear like he didn't care about him, which is why I wasn't a fan of the episode. By this point we know he cares for Dean but it wasn't shown in any scene, not even the last one, because if Dean hadn't called him, he wouldn't have gone looking for him. He didn't even check on him once. The bracelet doesn't prove he likes Dean back, his actions and words do. That was why I have a problem with how this particular episode was written, because it didn't show Moth even thinking about Dean.

I liked that they framed this as Third being Nine's first Fan Boy and being heart broken by him first. It helps connect him to Wan and it explains why Nine was able to get away with so much of his behavior. At first, they would have you believe that Nine wasn't evil until he went up again Nunew's character and that was where he learned it from. But today's episode showed us, Nine has been horrible. Now do I understand his plan with the scholarship test, I do. I still think he is evil, because he could have begged Third to purposed fail the test or at least get more wrong than him. Third would have done it, he was so sprung for Nine.
I AM dying to know how they became acting partners, though. I get deleting the first video, but wanting to be around him after that would be impossible for most people. And his behavior only got worse, so I want to know what kept Third there all this time. What does his mother have to do with it?
Ryujin and Patji are killing me! So much chemistry and these are like such unique characters, I am here for them!
Once again, James acting his ass off. I almost wanted them to give him less screen time, cause he was kind of stealing the show. Then Auau's ending scene was soooo good, that I am like, let everyone shine! Even Save's quiet care while Auau did that scene helped allow him to be so vulnerable for that scene to be as impactful as it was. And that lunch scene was so cute! I go back and forth with wishing I had saved this show to binge and being unable to pass up watching this live, because it is just this good. I need next week to hurry up and get here!

I have feeling about this weeks episode. I'll start with the good. And that was Barcode and Kin. So freaking cute! Although I would like to see Barcode be less...naive. It's giving the same performance in KinnPorsche but there it made all the sense in the world because he was supposed to be a so young. But in this series, while it may be his first relationship, he isn't a kid, so it would be nice if that was reflected in his character. It kind of was in that second kiss. That was some good stuff! But overall, their dating journey was cute as hell and I like how they communicate with each other now, especially because they started with such a miscommunication problem. I look forward to more of them. The other part that was a bit meh...was who is the MUA for these two, cause that lipstick on both of them....just never again, I cannot!
Now on to the part I did not dig....Moth's behavior this episode annoyed me. I mean, so did Dean's but his was sort of understandable considering he had literally just asked Moth to be his boyfriend, go rejected/ignored. Then when some dude walks in, Moth treated him terribly. He acted like he had zero feelings for Moth the entire episode, until the end, it was mostly to benefit himself.
Even with out an official status, they are more than nothing, so for Moth to completely forget about Dean unless Dean showed up in front of him...it was just bad writing for a romance. This episode, Moth should have be confused about his feelings for Dean and Mes, not art. The old love comes back to town, you are supposed to feel some type of way about your old love juxtaposed with your new one. When he never responded to Moth asking what he was doing through the text, when he was visibly annoyed at Dean showing at his apartment, instead of, say, surprised...he never once noticed how Dean felt and that does nothing to make me believe these two are going to be together. He didn't apologize for not responding to his messages, or even to being asked to be boyfriends. Dean was visibly upset when he was rejected, but Moth ...just ugh! Dean's behavior was also so cringe. Like spiral on your own, don't show up hungover and lurk in the back only to get caught staring/eavesdropping. I get that Dean is supposed to be someone who hasn't ever felt this way before, but still, I would have preferred they had his character reverting back to his old ways, because Moth's behavior toward him when he showed even a little bit of emotion confirms that he is meant to hook up instead of be anyone's boyfriends. Then showing him party, but he isn't really having fun or getting drunk or continue to work, but the content is kind of lame and you can tell he isn't his normal self...that make better sense, in my opinion. After that elevator scene where Moth says he doesn't know what they are, I needed Dean to retreat and give Moth the space he was insisting on. So that then, they could have a scene where Moth misses Dean. He did not think about Dean not once in that entire episode. If Dean had not called him, Moth would have sat by that river by himself and wallowed. For me, in a romance, this is just poor writing. That ending scene should have been adorable, if it had been rooted in Moth maybe realizing he treated Dean badly, just as badly as Dean had behaved. If Moth had apologized, it maybe could have been cute. But I'm not really rooting for them right now, because Moth doesn't even seem to like/care about Dean at all, if not as much as Dean like Moth. I wanted more from this episode...but again...ugh! And it looks like next week, it's back to normal and that is jarring from today's episode. I don't know man...disappointed.

The way the trailer confused me at first, I couldn't get a clear vision of what this story was about. But that first episode...everything is clear. This is going to replace my Don't Be Too Emotional fix cause the TOXIC levels this is going to reach may rival it and that says alot!
I am sat and seated for this. Bank...phew chile! Yok, you in danger girl! Ing wants to eat you up!
I do find it interesting that, going back to the trailer, which I rewatched after the first episode, Yok it seems is going to be taking Ing through it just as much, if not more than Ing will be taking Yok through it. That is a nice little twist I did not expect. This was an amazing first episode, so I really hope it stays good until the very end.

I agree! Their chemistry was top tier and it was such a let down.

Can anyone tell me what Chita said in episode 9, when he first stands up naked after being turned? The English subs aren't there and I feel like I'm missing his why he wanted revenge on Nour. Please and Thank You.

SunTiny is among some of my lowest rated shows. I literally felt so bad when I saw that MaxNat were going to be working with him again after SunTiny. I didn't know it was possible to ruin those two characters, who I liked in Y-Destiny, but man...the only thing that was good in SunTiny was Cooheart. MaxNat deserve better shows. NaughtyBabe wasn't perfect, the story was kind of all over the place. But I believe in their potential, so it's heartbreaking that Domundi doesn't find them a project that works best for them. And they are capable of it, their track record proves that. Same for TutorYim. I have high hopes for their new one.

Oh someone else said it! I actually haven't watched this show yet, but clicked to see what the reviews were saying since this is almost over and I had planned to binge. But back when I was watching Peach Lover and looked to see who was responsible for that hot mess, I saw he was doing this show and INSTANTLY felt bad for MaxNat. Because if you look at his track record it is flop after flop after flop. So many, that I'm wondering who keeps letting him do this to us. I would argue that That's My Candy is the worst of his projects, but points were made about Peach Lover.😂😂😂😂 I think the part about him that enrages me is he is capable of works like Love Sick 2024 and Bed Friend and Secret Crush on You, which I will argue isn't bad, it just was the victim of the anti "femme" problem among BL Fans. Anyway, he is has more bombs that good ones, but it frustrating that he doesn't have to be this awful. And I'll even argue that alot of his shows have soo much potential, like War of Y, but then the story goes completely off the rails and it ruins the whole thing. Sorry for the long response! I just was relieved to see someone else has noticed his catalogue of awful shows. And I hope MaxNat never work with him, because I feel like he is part of the reason they aren't doing so well as a couple/ship.

First, hated the AI usage, that takes some points off for me. Mostly because it was used in places nothing was needed, let alone a AI thing. The only time I was okay with it, was for the animated backstory. It was a pretty horrible scenario to play out and since it involved children, I understand the choice. I would still prefer they had either just did a monologue, real animation or real actors, but I get it.
Secondly, this started off really strong, story wise, and then it started to annoy me. When he walked in the gangsters meeting and saw Fei Foon was alive, okay he should have been surprised and feel all the feelings. BUT as someone who grew up around two gangster parents, sort of heads a gang himself AND is the CEO of a major corporation, his poker face game should have been strong. And when he got a chance to speak to Fei Foon in private, 1) he should have made sure it was truly private, 2) he should have done everything to draw the least amount of attention to them. I don't care for the idea that because he was in love, his emotions overrode his common sense and that is why he acted like he did. He KNEW that Fei Foon is a cop and frequently goes undercover. If for no other reason than wanting to keep him safe, he should have gotten his shit together until he could find out what was happening. Then his whole planning to storm the castle and "take him back" made me role my eyes so hard. I didn't find it romantic. Fei Foon literally devoted an entire year, probably had to do a million things he hated, just to get in with group and get sort of close to the intel they had been looking for. And he wanted to go in and "take him" because he was afraid he wasn't safe?! It just felt selfish and self absorbed, which okay, this character has proven he was time and again. But I wanted some character development, especially since the last thing he did before losing Fei Foon this time was a selfish and self centered act.
It would have been so much better if they had had a scene where he breaks down with Fei Foon because of his fear for his safety. And expressed how that year apart made him realize that he could not live without him, so he needed Fei Foon to hurry up and get out of this assignment. Then volunteer his resources to help if he could, since he was so willing to get back in to gang activities for finding Fei Foon.
The other thing that annoyed me in the story was Fei Foon not playing the long game with Shawn. I was into the leaving clues thing and that bit could have gone on longer, if for no reason to get the awww moment when you realize he was leaving clues in all the spots that meant the most to them. But him trying to run for it at the movies was so lame to me. This is the same character who spent a year of his life in a gang in order to find the guy counterfeiting money. He literally finds him and finds out that the dude is nuts and crazy for him. It would have been so easy to pivot and see how much access he could get to Shawn and his whole operation. The leaving clues makes sense. Him not trying to stay and earn trust so that he could the info they needed to make a clean bust is crazy! Especially because, again Shawn is obviously crazy and has lots of body guards. He has proven he is capable of being horrible. I hate when they make a character someone whose job is to know how criminals think and behave in order to arrest them...not behave in a way that makes me believe you know what you are doing. He didn't spend any time trying to figure out how to best escape the guards or what he should do if he was caught...just "turn yourself in and I'll ask the judge who will absolutely not listen to me to not go too hard on you" Know him or not, by then it was clear that Shawn was no longer the little kid you knew before and continuing to treat him as such was just poor writing.
The ending was kind of rushed and unfinished for me. The concept that a police officer who had been undercover for entire year and had been let go by the criminal they had all been looking for would just go sit by the pier and wait for his boyfriend who just watch the same dude shoot his brains out, instead of both of them getting police involved...just sigh.
It was good, the chemistry was good between the two main leads, although off screen chemistry is even better. But it wasn't as good to me as others were making it. I probably would not rewatch it and I think that's the first CBL of 2026 that I would say about.

When James announced he was stepping back from acting to pursue music, I was, of course. sad about NetJames, especially because nothing I had seen (or frankly have seen since) proved that music was for him. But most of all, it was because James is an ACTOR and his performances as Nine proves that THIS is what that man should be doing. He stole that entire episode with this performance. Nine is definitely going to go as one of the best villains. And if they do some stupid redemption arc, where we are supposed to sympathize with him in the end, I'm going to be pissed. Honorable mention for scene stealer Nunew, cause Imma need Domundi to write a role for Nunew like this character. Maybe not all the way evil, but one who is fierce and sassy as hell fighting for his friends or boyfriend or something. Who can read a gal for filth and leave the girls gagged. I see the vision and he can pull it off.
I have to say, Save is the cutest little bean on the planet. That airport end scene was precious and I'm glad they are together sooner rather than later. I also like that episode ended happy, cause the Wan and Nine scene was heavy. I hope that those who watch this see that one should never idolize anyone. Admire, support, enjoy, of course all those things. Buy the merch, decorate your room. But never give so much of yourself to person who will most likely never know you exist just because they act good or sing pretty. I actually hope that Wan doesn't try to "beat" Nine at his own game. I hope he decides to just be himself in the industry and just becomes famous organically. I think that would be ultimate revenge on Nine. Wan didn't have to step on people, treat them terribly or attempt murder to get roles and gain fame, so what does that say about you, Nine? That would be the long game win. And it would suit Wan's character so much more. I am definitely looking forward to next weeks episode. And as much as I enjoy the BL part (Auau and those eyes are dangerous), James Su is who I'm really coming back for. Depending on how this show ends, I really feel like he needs an award for this role.
Side Note: I need more Renji and Time! Cause what do you mean they are together already!? I just thought all this time that Renji liked Time was annoying him to get his attention. The fact that they are an entire established couple is amazing. And they are cute as heck! I really want to know what mischief they are up to together. Is it revenge? And if so, against who? I suspect Nine, cause again, evil dude, but maybe they will surprise me.
Anyway, great freaking episode and I cannot wait til next week.

This is ridiculous, I know, but I literally had to pause watching because the scene where Moth and Dean are cooking and Dean manhandles the steak with out utensils, doesn't wash his hands and then proceeds to touch not only the refrigerator and the lettuce container and lettuce, but then continues on to RUB gel into Moth's burn with no jump cuts to give the illusion he could have washed his hands in that time has given me the absolute ick! Dear directors, it's a tiny continuity thing but I beg ya'll to start showing normal routine habits that make the scene seem plausible. It's like in Western TV where they pour 3 spoonfuls of coffee and I'm supposed to believe the character is a coffee addict...
Okay, gotten it off my chest, now back to the episode.

This was a great story. The only thing that would have made it better is if they would have treated this more like My Personal Weatherman or Love is Better the Second Time Around instead of like Afterschool Group. I liked the aspect of the middle aged guy finding love with a man, struggling with that interpersonally, but then finding acceptance in his self and most importantly the people around him. They had a great opportunity, when they went to the onsen to show this was a show with two adult men. Not saying we needed a full NC scene, but better kissing and at least the illusion that they slept together. The concept of two grown men, who are in a relationship and a new one at that, not having sex when they are on vacation together is a lame choice. Again, when the story is set in school and they are supposed to be teenagers, I'm cool with just a hug. But come on! How do you declare someone a great kisser and ya'll barely touched lips? Literally, my only criticism. I liked everything else. I could have done with an explanation as to why Omeada went rogue, or how did they all find him. But it was a pretty good series.

Where is the best place to watch this?
