Love this take! And I think you are right. As I was reading this, I realize I also want to see more of Koh and Pheem's dynamic before Jira came into play. Why are they so tied together, yet don't seem to really like each other? I hope the series shows us a bit of their beginning to understand how that all influences what is happening with Jira.

It would definitely explain why his reactions are all over the place. I'll admit, though, with that being a possible reason for his behavior, I would have liked to see more of him struggling internally about the "WHY" Jira. Maybe even some resistance to Jira initially because it IS so against his character and he feels anxious about those feeling. But as I'm typing them out, I guess they have kind of shown all those things, just in a kind of chaotic way. But that is very much on brand for the theme of this series.

I definitely agree that the difference in the paintings of each men varied so much. I cannot wait to see the final product of the one he does of Pheem at the rage room, because, 1) he completed it and 2) I really want to compare this latest one with the ones he as done for Koh and see how visually different they will be. Koh's paintings have such romantic sweeping gestures being used, while Pheem's had such violent strokes and erasure/blacking out of the picture.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense...yet. I'm really hopeful they will explain it. Because Pheem doesn't seem the type to get obsessive, so I'm really hoping they explain, why Jira?

This complicated mess of a show is perfection! We are simply not talking enough about Off's acting in this series. He goes from cold and calculating to slyly manipulative to smug bastard, to sexy waif to vulnerable kitten, to shy puppy. And he uses all of that to get what he wants. I LOVE what Nuchy pulls out of Off when she directs him. Somehow I feel like they way this has been directed, I feel for him the same way Jira does. I equally hate him, but am drawn to him. I want him to go away but also, I want to see what he will do next. I feel sorry for him and at the same time, I want bitch slap him. I get Jira's conflict here. Off is playing the HELL out of this character. Honestly, they all are. Dew and Gun's scene in the rage room was a visual masterpiece! Dew really smashing things while Gun is sitting there with no protective gear, it looks like real fear and rage. The colors, the framing! Ah the cinematography of that shot! This deserves awards, I really hope they get at least one or two.
The only thing I'll quibble about, is Pheem's feelings for Jira. Why is he so obsessed with him, so fast and so much? Why is he "in love" with someone, he barely knows? They have barely had any interactions, and very few of them with any sort of meaningful impact outside of sexual attraction. I mean, he even slept with someone else immediately after being vaguely disappointed with Jira. I would argue that Koh and Jira have had more meaningful interactions from both sides. I am anxious to know if that gets address in the show. That Pheem doesn't really like Jira but was maybe looking for something like what Koh and Jira have, a relationship that is based on a deeper emotional tie, that defies logic. Idk, but I hope they address it.
This is definitely not a BL. I'm not sure what genre I would put this in, but I'm not rooting for any of them to "get together". I'm excited to see where this show goes and how they are going to leave everything in the end.

This show is about a basket full of deplorables except Kad/Teh (and who knows if he will eventually end up one, once he finds out what everyone else is up to). I do feel sorry for him, cause he is surrounded by just some of the worst people. This is definitely one of those shows were you don't really root for anyone, you just stay to watch the train wreck get cleaned up. Sometimes you need a good hot mess to cleanse the pallet. This is that show. NOTHING sweet about this one!

Much like Only Boo, I really love SeaKeen's chemistry. I believe what they are selling. Same for the other couple, new pair, SurfJava. They have great chemistry. I liked the story line, it was new and interesting. And they resolved the why he was able to see the future well. Now on to the problems I had with this series. 1) As much chemistry as SeaKeen have, they are still giving us sip kisses. Not dead fish kisses, but sip kisses, where they do press their lips together properly, but don't open their mouths. In fact, it's like they tuck their lips inward, like they are sipping from a straw, instead of pursing their lips in a realistic kiss. But I'll write that off, as this is a GMMTV series and that is pretty typical of this company, especially in a pairing that doesn't have alot of series together and are young. I can only hope as they age, they get better at kissing, and the intimacy scenes (which were also lame) as they get older. Moving on to the next two biggest problems with this series, for me. 2) What do you mean the father valued his acting career more than the safety, and care and keeping of his family and was able to come back with a never mind, it's all good?! Jinn literally exploded with rage, a valid emotion based on the flashback scene of him denying his son in front of some dude, every time they talked about his father. All of the flashbacks of the accident was based on how angry, justifiably so, with his father and his mother for bringing him back into their lives and not explaining all those years. It just was a plot point that irritated me soo much. And it used to be, "well, it's a cultural thing." But now the story line with Farm's family and not having contact exist, so there was literally no reason for Farm to forgive his parents so easily. The dad's excuse doesn't justify abandoning his family for his career. He could have snuck and seen them, even if it was just once or twice a year, if his excuse of fans being the problem was a thing. And why didn't the mother explain all these years. What could possibly be the reason to not say, your dad loves you and is doing this to protect us. And one day, he will come back to the family. It just was annoying. Finally, 3) Van and Farm. Like I said I liked the pairing. And I even liked the friends to lovers. But once they had the story line of Van not really liking Farm or at least not knowing his feelings, but wanting to keep Farm to not be alone, it went down hill from there. I am not opposed to the story line. But what they did with it is where they lost me. I like that Farm back away. But I needed to see him go try and be with some one else. At the very least, have one or two other friends outside of the friend group. Maybe before Van asked Farm to date, they could have had a close friend of Farm, who Van was jealous of, but didn't know why. So then, when Farm breaks up with Van, and he turns to this friend, this would be the catalyst to Van realizing why he asked Farm out, and that all this time, he did truly love Farm. So that when he said all that in the packing scene where he cried (btw, good piece of acting there), when Farm forgives him it would based on SOMETHING! Farm giving in and going back with Van with out Van making some atonement and/or some big grand gesture to get him back just annoyed me. Van wasn't the greatest personality, so I personally needed more from their story. I also really disliked Farm seemingly being a strong individual, but then crumbling at the first pitiful look from Van.
Outside of these three problems I had a great time. Mai was the best character though. His comedic timing was a highlight of the show for me.
One other tiny thing I felt the show should have included, was Jerome's feelings after Jinn confessed at 7. Like maybe feeling sorry he teased him, because now he was getting bullied. Or at least him realizing after he saw the confession in the book, in flash back form, that all the teasing, antagonizing and stealing his crushes, all came from him liking Jinn all this time. It would have made the reason they were always at war make better sense, at least to me.

I'm struggling to see how they are going to be able to tell all rest of the story that was shown in the trailer and in flashbacks...with 2 episodes left. I actually love this story, but this series should have been as long as To Sir, With Love (17 episodes), to tell the whole whole story. With the appearance of the new Khun Yai, and not knowing what Sophee did in the past let alone the future...there are way to many questions for 2 more episodes, unless each episode 2 hours long. And that makes me sad for the cast, especially BillyBabe. They all are super talented, but they are dealing with company troubles along with haters attacking them online repeatedly. Not having a successful show when the potential for one is just the pits.

Off Jumpol playing yet another jerk should be boring...but nope, he has never been hotter. Off has mastered the "love to hate them" roles. I especially love this character Koh, because he is soo complicated. How he is equal parts evil mastermind and soft puppy, I'll never know, but he has me sat and seated. Dew/Pheem being obsessed with Jira, but not in love, because he definitely slept with someone else because he couldn't with Jira is fascinating as well.
Gun/Jira is stuck between wants vs. needs/head vs. heart. I think on paper, Pheem is who he should want, who he wants to want. But Koh is who he responds to, who his interest lies. Too often, people fall for the person who is going to cause them the most trouble, and Koh is very much giving, "Jira is going to regret this."
I don't think this is a BL, cause I cannot see how anyone ends up with anyone. But I felt the same way about Only Friends and somehow, they ended up with most of the pairs intact. I cannot wait to see how this all turns out, especially with only 4 episodes left. Nuchey is a top tier director and this is definitely going into one of my favorite messy, toxic dramas.

This had good parts and annoying parts. It was okay, but I don't think I would watch this again. The MLs barely had any chemistry. They could act, so it saved it. Ja is hot, so there is that. But the kisses weren't great, the NC scenes tried to be intense, but they very much gave actors who are going through the motions of a NC scene, so again, meh. I liked the GL pairing, they were cute! The other BL pairing had all the potential in the world, but Mud was an annoying character who was so self centered. And even when Book pointed that out, in the end, they still had his character apologize...when he did nothing wrong. I hated that the primary one wrong was Mud, but Book was the one who got lectured by his friends to change. WTF. They had good chemistry. I wish their NC scenes were longer like the ML. So I loved the finished movie and the concept. The only thing I would have changed about the ending was the Dad killing himself. I think it would have been better if Seen had to come back because his dad could not afford to keep him there. But because he was back the Dad blamed his being gay on why they were poor and maybe both parents wish he wasn't born or there or something. Then the character that Saint plays comes back and takes Seen away from the parents. They have the beach scenes the way they were, including him going back to get his stuff to run away. But instead of the mother threatening to kill herself, she also expresses her disgust at having a gay son and basically telling him that he is no longer her son. So that when he comes back and sees Seen dead, he feels as if he doesn't have any other choice but to follow Seen. Then they show the parents facing the repercussions of their hateful words. Maybe the community starts treating them differently, the kids who bullied them start feeling some type of way about them killing themselves. It just would have been nice to see what happens to the people left after someone kills themselves.
The other thing I would have changed would be how quickly both Saint and Ice forgave their terrible, no good parents. It would have been nice to see those parents suffer a little bit more for their actions.
The last thing that pissed me off and was so unnecessary to the story was Ice and Saint asking Warm to be apart a of their company. I'm all for Ice apologizing for his part in their failed relationship, but that could have been done in a quick one liner as Warm was being taken away to prison. Having him come back into their lives and helping him was just...eeeeeyuck!
If this had come out 5 years ago, it would have been amazing. But there are just too many shows now, and my tolerance for mid is decreasing steadily. And this was a just above mid show. The acting was mostly good, and most of the story was good too. But no chemistry between the ML is not it any more.

I couldn't do it. I saw the bad rating but like to give a show a chance just in case, cause sometimes the ratings be trippin'...nope. This rating is spot on. I almost never drop a show. I made it through Bite Me and Fahlunruk, surely I could make it through. Honestly, there are just too many much better shows to watch and honestly rewatch instead of this. Why make a BDSM series and not make sure that both main leads are at least okay with kissing?! Also, they never get undressed. Don't make a show about sex and then don't show the sex...
You cannot even blame the low budget. If they had had open actors, a halfway decent script and a capable director, this would not have been a bad series. But this was simply a waste of time, so I had to drop it.

Yeah, that threw me, especially cause he later says he would never force someone...but he did. They never indicate that he wanted it. I think someone made a good point, that he was numb to just about everything in life, including his body being used. I finished it, but it ended weird, you never got the sense that red headed lead, (blanking on the name and spelling) ever liked Odisan because mood never changes. He stays happy go lucky throughout, through getting stabbed, his 'dad' dying, his 'brother' trying to kill him and finally getting shot and almost dying. It wasn't worth going back, if you have already stopped. The end was weird and rushed, as well. I'm with gou. I'm over yaoi/bl using sexual assault as a romantic plot device.

I am again blaming writing and direction on this show not being as successful as it could have been. It's not the acting. The series needed to be a solid 14 episodes to tell the complete plot, with maybe a special to maybe give us like Saen's story. I cannot fathom, even with them changing this to a full 12 episodes and no seeming special, how they are going to add the third "Khun Yai" Professor in the next episode, wrap up the ghost stuff, tell us how everyone dies and how they are all attached to each other again in the "present" AND tell us what happens with the political stuff. That is alot for 3 episodes. Especially, because at some point before what ever happens to Kaewta in the past, they get the white house and live together, for a least a short while. So how?
I'm actually enjoying this series, but will admit that the direction and writing have left this show hanging. Take the NC scene for example. As hot as that was (should be studied on how to look like you want each other when doing these type of scenes), it would have been better, imo, if when Khun Yai walked in, Kaewta actually tried to leave or avoid him. The last time they saw each other, as far as the audience knows, was on the steps with Kaew rejecting Yai. They should have shown more of Kaew being broken hearted. Should have shown maybe time passing a little and Yai not showing up because of the political stuff and Kaew missing him. Then when Yai walked in, Kaew tries to escape, but he has locked the door. Then Kaew tries to talk his way out, turns away to avoid looking at Yai because he wants to give in. Then in come Yai for the kill with a neck kiss and they show Kaew literally losing control because he loves and wants Yai so much. Then that passionate NC scene would have flowed better then Kaew just giving in. ORRRR you don't even have Kaew reject Yai on the steps and Kaew decides to be with Yai. Then that NC would flow better. But to jump from, "No, I don't like you and you should leave me alone!" to naked and unashamed is jarring as a viewer.
I also need someone, anyone to take the fact that Sophee put glass in the dessert and purposely fed it to Ruedee more seriously. Saen, I needed you to have at least warned Yai about Sophee or at least been like, I'm going to keep a better eye on her and her maid. It was just too crazy a thing for someone to do and they be like, oh well, that is just Sophee, she isn't a good person.
Anyway, while I'm looking forward to seeing more, I'm not sure if I trust that this will have a good ending, in not in the, I don't think they end up together, but in a there is so much being left up in the air, how in the world are they going to resolve everything?

Both, Babe grew his hair longish, but not as long as the hair shown. I'm pretty sure most of it is wigs and extensions, but he grew it out enough to make it blend really nicely.

My only concern is how they are going to show all of the elements seen in the behind the scenes as well as the trailer and in flashbacks in the limited amount of episodes they have left. I'm loving the show so far, but this feels like it needs to be at least 13 episodes to resolve everything at this pace with out ruining the story. I still have a mountain of questions, and we still haven't seen what Sophee does to Kaewta, why Sophee would then kill herself, what happens to Yai in the past? How are not only their fates tied together, but also Ruedee, Saen and Nanny? How is Sin Saen son, when he is dead and a ghost? How long could they have lived in the white house before they died, enough to make it where all the ghosts are tied to? And how do they get to be together in THIS life? I'm sure there are more questions I have but these are just the basics and they haven't gotten them to be in a relationship yet, let alone to the stage of living in the house together, seemingly happy, with no political intrigue afoot! I assumed time skips would happen, but I'm nervous how they are going to pull this off.
Outside of that, I'm really enjoying BillyBabe, especially Billy. That confession was top tier romantic. And any time Billy wants to go shirtless, please allow him.

I think this was a good enough show that expanded, it would a hit. The topic/plot is interesting and fresh, but in this format, too serious of a subject to explore appropriately. They didn't explore enough why Tae Min went from being a champion swimmer to drown in a pool he could stand in and then back to being top of his game. This subject deserved more care from the psychological stand point, but where interesting subjects to explore. I also needed more about Yu Bin's feelings for Lin as well as his life, cause he also seemed to be dealing with some mental health issues. Would love to see this story explored fully.

This deserves a higher rating. I definitely love that we spent all of episode 7 in the past. I need the back story of the original love couple in order to see what "present" Khun Yai is so in love with Kaewta. I mean, we are already at episode 7 and nothing has happened with them truly yet. I definitely feel like this should have been a 13 episode series, because seems to have so much story to tell. And I want it all, the political stuff, the crazy relatives who are just evil to be evil. And then the love story, which so far has been great. I just need the puzzle pieces to start coming together faster since we only have some many episodes left. Hopefully, after the tending of the wound, we will have them together.
Also, Sophee and her minion are annoying. And isn't Khun Yai like her cousin or something. Either way, she is too pressed for someone who has never been her man.
