This was okay. I got into because I wanted to see what all the SkyNani buzz was all about. I will give it to you, they do have chemistry. But I wouldn't call it BL chemistry. Make no mistake, this show was a BL without kissing, so if you are someone who hates an NC scene, this is for you. I think that is why this didn't do it for like it did for others, in other words, why I don't think I would ship Sky and Nani. They have acting chemistry but zero sexual chemistry. Even though I am not delusional to think any of the ships (with a few exceptions because they be doing more than typical fan service) are "sexual" with one another, for their jobs, they do have to get pretty intimate. And in doing so, they have a kind of sexual tension that only a ship can have. These two gave off buds who had to deliver beyond bromance lines as part of a story. I'm confused why the writer/director/producer didn't go ahead and turn it in to a BL or dial back the dialogue to be less...for lack of a better word, gay, but I guess we will never know. And to be clear, I'm quite aware of the difference between bromance and what ever this was supposed to be. In fact my favorite shows on earth star some of the biggest bromances, Psych and Scrubs. But something about the way this was written seems...unnecessary to the central story.
The MVP for me was Mark Pakin as Chadjan. He was brilliant. I also like how the way the friends treated him wasn't babying but it also was in line with where ever he fell on the spectrum. He truly was their friend who they respected and listened to, played with and treated "normally" but understanding that he was "different" and that must be considered too. As a parent and an aunt of someone on the spectrum and someone who witnesses how other people treat people on the spectrum, it was sooo refreshing to see that.
Teacher Jan got on my nerves. Honestly, all the adults except Mr. Sung. Everyone was judgey but stupid. Like all that talk but unable to solve a sing problem. Ms. Jan was almost unbearable. She was so whiney. And in the beginning of the story, it made sense for her character to be unsure of her self, especially considering the circumstances she inherited with that teaching post. But after awhile, she solved not one problem, didn't stand up to the principal even once and when she quit and they KEPT begging her to come back, proving that her insecurity about being a good teacher wasn't founded in reality, she still was obstinate about that.
Overall, it was an okay series. Is it as good as I was led to believe...meh. Sky and Nani are great actors. I don't think they should be a ship though. And at the risk of being attacked, it's kind of obvious they don't really want to be. I think seeing them in a rom com where they have to do shenanigans to win the girls, they would kill that. But if they were made to kiss...I'm seeing what happened with Chimon and Perth. I could be wrong. I hope they are professional actors who can take any role and succeed as long as the script and direction are good. Only time will tell, maybe in December when they finally do GMMTV 2026 lineup.

It wasn't bad. The best part may be the shots of the ocean. It need literally 3 to 5 more minutes to make it a solid story. I just needed to see what happens once he comes back from New York. I just knew we were going to get that after the credits, but nope, just gabbing about food. Cause why? Even if they just had them walking casually out of frame with the conversation not being about food, but them with a few sentences of, I'll be back in 6 months after I help my dad. Let's discuss us when I get back...that would have felt like a finished story to me. But overall, it was good. Just not something I would rewatch...

This wasn't the worst BL I've ever seen, but it really isn't that good. This was written and produced like it was back in 2020 and BL fans did not literally have a million other options to choose from so we would settle for stories like this one. It's poorly written, was all over the place plot wise. Also, not a strong acting cast, so when you combine those two things, it makes for meh experience at minimum. No likeable women, unless you count the one mom. An evil homophobic mom, a random, and mostly unaddressed SA and to end the show, a random stabbing by a random barely side character for a crazy random reason...wtf?!?! The only thing missing to make it a early BL trope fest would be a ultra effeminate gay man who always hits on everyone, but gets bullied by everyone else, because "of course, no one likes the ACTUAL gay man in BL". (insert sarcastic tone) Seriously, it was that ridiculous. Longlee really isn't a bad actor, but man, someone save him and find him a good partner and a good script because sheesh! The 3rd couple could have been cute, but it went unexplored and only hinted at. And because they made one of the GL couple unlikable, I skipped all of their story minute story line.
Like I said, it's not the worst I've ever seen but by today's standard of BL, this was terrible. Not even the NC scene's could save it. If you want to watch it maybe do so on 2x speed. I promise you won't miss anything, there isn't a lot of story to begin with.

I really needed them to cut the bar scene, one scene with the dad (that could have been condensed into one), the rutting scene, and add on 10-20 minutes extra just to give justice to an otherwise great series. SWL and Gao Tu's storyline was literally nothing and deserved better for the end. I do hope we at least get a special episode.

I liked this series, although, it was missing some things to make a cohesive story. There were so many flashbacks but instead of just repeating the story, it would have been nice if they had showed each persons perspectives. From Hiro's perspective, it truly looked like Natsuo was just a Great Dane puppy who means well, but ends up ruining all the things. And then when he chose to bully Hiro when his confession was interrupted...he lost any points with me, in defense of his awkward flirting. It would have been amazing to have him, when he did the flash back and described what happened then, say how sorry he was that he did that. That he wishes to go to the reunion to apologize to him for his behavior. That looking back he did alot of things wrong, even if they weren't intentional.
For Hiro's side, once he realized that Natsuo just liked him back then and was just crazy awkward about it, he should have confessed that he was the Hiro that Natsuo remembers. There really wasn't a reason to keep up the "revenge plot" as it wasn't even really being followed anymore. He was just dating him. Especially after he hurt his hand. By asking him to stay, he was basically giving up the revenge thing and at least admitting that he enjoyed Natsuo's company. I was so annoyed when Hiro let himself be dragged to the reunion after he swore he wouldn't attend. And then to suck up to those people after the way they treated him back then. But the worst was when he was telling Natsuo his plans, trying to force him was just...gross. It was such an unnecessary plot point and so against the character. He didn't apologize for any of it and that bothered me.
It had some great moments though and that NC scene was shock of 2025 in Japanese BLs. One that it had an NC was a shock, cause the whole series did not give that vibe. But to have such a hot one...bravo to JBLs for stepping up their game. No more sip/fish kisses!

Poor Hua Yong, I also hate talking to idiots! 🤣🤣🤣 I definitely need this to be like at least 3-4 more episodes, it seems like there is still things to discuss in order to wrap this story up. Did SSY accept that epic proposal? Do they get married before the baby comes? What is up with the father, both of them? Is SWL going to find Gao Tu before he gets sick and help him out? Then there are the pregnancies, both of which seem to be high risk, we aren't going to get to see all that?!
I really hope the last episode is 2 hours or that there is a special to help tie up all the loose ends.

First, this was a cute little story, so pleasant to watch. Second, it has been mentioned before, but their height difference was really the star of the show. Lastly, I have decided that IMO, Kang Min looks like Lee Know but only at certain angles. And Kevin looks like a teeny tiny Ten.
This was fun to binge especially after coming off of watching Shine and When Life Gives You Tangerines.

Perfect is reaching...I didn't say it wasn't good, but it could have been better. And yes, I know that people do it in all kinds of places and positions, but usually out of necessity because passion consumed them in the heat of the moment. That was not the case in this NC. They were in a bed...no reason to lay like that was my only point, a failing on the director's, in my opinion. While I get the ML hesitancy, and yes, I think those factors should be part of their characters and their story arc, I thought it would be nice to see them both push past their comfort zones, to push past their fears, to emphasis how much they feel for each other. So far, I'm not particularly seeing that from these characters. But that is my opinion.

I had two frustrations on an otherwise really good episode. No complaints on the length, I enjoyed that. My frustration were mainly the ignoring of the Grandmother the whole time. She wasn't a little sick and I get that it probably takes alot to get her to the doctors, but the fact that no one suggested it or just took her, especially after the last time she fell out in front of them. Then when she magically appeared and Khem, after literally everything he has been through in his life, or even just the last 3 weeks, did not suspect even a little bit that something wasn't right?! Everything with Grandma, whether the real one or the fake was wrong and they were all just tralala-ing along. I need at least 1 clever character in a series like this and you maybe could have said it about master...but not this episode.
The second thing that bothered me was the NC scene. The lead up to it was kind of...stiff and awkward as heck. Like either have them shy of each other or have them checking each other out, but they had literally had their first kiss, which again, was kind of awkward, which is to be expected for a first kiss, so no worries. And then it turned hot, so all good there. The scene were Khem is checking out Master could have helped in leading in to the NC scene if Khem had maybe touched the tattoos when he was asking about them, like he couldn't resist touching and then maybe get a bit shy. Then finally, when he was lying there, maybe have him eyeing master, cause you know, he is hot. That would have made the subsequent NC scene flow better, at least for me. Finally, the main thing that bothered me about that scene was the angle they were laying in for most of it. It looked so uncomfortable and I don't care how hot for each other you are, discomfort takes you out of the mood. Either they should have been sitting up flush with the head board, especially when Master was sitting on top of Khem or lying down.
But otherwise, it was a good episode. I am ready to get the back story, I need to know the why and how far back their past lives connect.

Thank you for sharing this, I was getting frustrated as well with this character. Glad to know that is just how he is written.

They were taking notes apparently. No beard for Sorn and Jun finally gets some prep and protection! 😂😂 I really liked this first episode of the special. This is exactly as a special ep should go. Lots of fluff and sex. This was like it was straight out of the MAME handbook. Minimal plot and lots of shirtless scenes. And if your series had hot NC scenes, make them hotter. I'm a bit worried for the second episode cause what are they going to do on that boat....sheesh! I do like that we get to see Sorn and Jun be fluffy together, although there intro scenes were too dramatic for a week apart. They should have made it a month apart, then it would have made all that 'I miss you" fluff, make better sense. Overall though, it was a good comeback to the characters.

I really need them to do like they did with RL and drop all the rest of the episodes immediately. I simply cannot wait to find out what happens each week and they love to end on big cliff hangers.

Got it, figured as much, but that rebar being removed on top of how long it is taking medical help to come on top of SWL being mad at HY and not helping him means that he definitely should be dead, Enigma or not. But since this series has men getting pregnant, I guess I'll let that of unrealism go. 😂😂😂

Just when I was getting slightly annoyed that the story was circling back to the same old same old, bam! Earthquake and huge movement story wise! Emotionally, I am feel all over the place. Pissed at Hua Yong for continuing to manipulate Shaou You. That line about always getting his consent should have hit Hua Yong in the face for what happened last week, but he continued to be sly with his shit. I get that technically he wasn't in control of himself at the time either, but I would have loved to see HY feel guilty or remorse for doing that to SY with out his consent. Not that I totally understand his whole plan, yet, maybe it was all intentional, which would suck.
Then I was frustrated with SWL because DUDE, I'm not asking you to recognize Gao Tu as an Omega, but can you at least recognize that you have feelings for him?! He cannot fart without you being all up in his Kool- Aid! But also, can you not hear yourself talking to him? It is so rude and disrespectful all the time. We get it, you don't like Omegas, but they exist. On top of that, the "Beta" you lambast every minute of every day is also your friend, supposably, and just trying to survive, cut him so slack!
Side note, are Enigma's immortal in this world? Cause HY pulling REBAR out of his body and acting like he cannot die was crazy to watch. Also, how SLOW are the rescue services? HY had time to call for help, the NEWS reported on it and they had a full fledge argument, and no one came in, not one fire fighter or medical team? Not HY's personal rescue team, nothing?
I'm excited and honestly anxious for the next episode cause they always manage to end on a cliff hanger and I really want to know if we will get pregnancy new next week...

Well that was terrible. I actually liked Max and Nat's other series, but this was just...bad. I loved these characters in Y Destiny, so I was excited to see them come back. The body switch plot is not my favorite, but it definitely fits with Y Destiny's quirky plots, so I was open to the show. I like that they were going to deal with impotence, a subject not covered very often. I also like that they were going to be playing with gender roles and switching things up in that respect as well. They had everything they needed to make a half way decent show...and yet...
First, I actually think Max did a great job acting in this role. I believed him when he switched to Nuea. Nat...not so much. Acting wise, he seems to be getting worse, which doesn't make sense.
Second, the whole point of body switching, that was done well in Our Sky with OffGun, is to learn about your partner on a truly deeper level. The one who needed the biggest lesson was Nuea, and he didn't learn anything really. He just complained and whined alot. Now, that is the original character of Nuea in Y Destiny, but it would have been amazing if he had had some character development. If not before this, then at least from this whole series. And Sun saying that Nuea had it hard...well no he didn't. Glam lesson means his life is hard?! He literally spent most of the series partying and being drunk and then being selfish. How is his life hard? What was Sun supposed to learn from him? They brought back these characters only to make me dislike one and pity they other...what was the point? By episode 5, I was skipping heavily and I don't usually do that, even if the series is mid.
It was nice to see First and Talay and Pee in their roles again. Talay needs way more work, he is missed. And FINALLY seeing Earth play a character he was destined to play, outside of his usual (I actually love Earth in all his roles, but I knew this type of character would be done amazingly by him). I want to know who was in charge of costumes. Cause everyone buy Max and Nat's were good and since they are the leads, that doesn't make any sense at all.
Anyway, I cannot really recommend this one. Normally, I can find something about the story that makes it okay enough to give it a shot. But honestly...it's not really worth it. Unless you want to see the old characters again or Earth looking and acting fabulously, this is definitely a okay one to skip. I pray that the next series Max and Nat are supposed to be with Domundi will be better. I need someone to make Nat go through intensive workshops for acting because he is so inconsistent that it detracts from the series. I also need who ever is in charge of Copy A Bangkok to get their thoughts together. They usually have great ideas and sometimes it works and works really well and then something will get thrown in and make the whole thing crap.

I thought this was a great ending to this series. Would I rather they did just a few things differently in this last episode to really end it well, sure, but overall, I loved this show.
The loved that they didn't do a fake out and let Nin win the match on the strength of his skill. And I loved that Ramil finally stood up to his dad and they didn't give them some moment where the dad redeems himself some how. Ramil acknowledging that he will never not be a prince in a royal court, but as far as his allegiance to his father, that was over. The scene on the beach was so raw and emotional. But their relationship and all they have been through up until that point warranted Ramil's breakdown. Jimmy looked like he went somewhere dark to let that out, so I commend him for that scene. I do wish at the end, instead of showing the ads throw conversations and the picnic, they had used a montage to show how everyone was doing. It would have been nice to see what happened to RamilPaytai, Ava and even CalvinJay (who I cared absolutely nothing about). A montage would have gone a long way to showing them all working toward their goals and being happy after all the drama. So that in the end, when Ran proposes, it wouldn't have felt as premature or out of no where as it did. I also wanted them to speak a little faster when Ran quit to allow time for him to explain that he was quitting the tradition of being the family bodyguard because he would like to marry Nin when he was done with school and and wanted to ask permission. Again, that would have made the ending scene a more solid ending.
No notes on the NC scene, as always, it was really beautifully shot. I will say never did I think I would EVER see ZeeNunew in a scene like THAT one. No the ending kiss that never seemed to end, I could have done without. It worked in Cutie Pie because that scene was trying to declare LGBTQ rights, especially marriage rights. But here, it was just too much. I would have rather they used some of the time to show the other couples before this scene, and then end it with the big kiss.
Although, not CalvinJay. The series hardly showed them, so I did not feel any sort of connection to their characters together or separate. And that kiss...Domundi knows better. This series was kind of a soft launch for NetJJ and well...as far as I'm concerned, they failed. I'll admit to being disappointed when NetJames split, because they had amazing chemistry. But I am also not delulu and was excited to see what NetJJ would do. Watching them try and build chemistry was painful to watch. It seems like Net knew what to do and was trying but JJ seemed resistant to the whole shipping culture. Which is fair...unless you are trying to build a ship from scratch. And the previous ship was crazy compatible on and off screen. But still, I thought, well if they gel well on screen then I'll be able to watch their stand alone series. Well this tanked that hope. Individually, I think both are great actors. But together...as a ship...nope. That kiss showed me all I needed to know. It was awkward and passionless, especially for a confession scene. And normally, I would blame the script or the director, but the rest of the show is really, really well done. The words were there. It felt like a really simple scene, emotion wise. Still...meh.
Anyway, I really thought this show lived up to the hype and all the hard work they obviously put into it.
Now do I wish they do a special episode with an Emmalian wedding...absolutely! The costuming alone would make it worth it!

This show is so good. I really need them to release all the episodes at once so that I can binge. Or at least go back to 3 a week. Time goes by too quickly!

I am so relieved they kept my boy Chakri alive. I don't care about grandpa, even though he apologized. And I am here for Paytai calling Ramil a coward and leaving him. I kept screaming at the screen, "If you step on his face, you bastard...!" It was such a low moment and so very heartbreaking. I know why Ramil did it, it was so clear that a life time of fear was right at his throat and he was paralyzed with fear. But if no other time existed for him to stand up to his father and take whatever punishment he got, this was it. It wouldn't have mattered if Paytai still received a beating, as long as Ramil refused to be apart of it, it would have been okay. I'm hoping that Ramil will finally stand up to his father by way of intentionally losing the fencing competition. It's literally the only way I could see him redeeming himself in Paytai's eyes.
Side note: what was even the point of mentioning Calvin. We knew when he got called back he was in trouble. And with out seeing Jay feeling some type of way that Calvin was in trouble, it doesn't really matter. Not that I care too much about this couple, but if they are supposed to be a 3rd couple...then maybe trying to advance their story even a tiny bit would have been good. Especially with literally only one episode left.
Side Side Note: I love 2 scenes especially this last episode. Nunew's fresh face and soft hair when they practiced fencing. His face looked a little more round and it was sooo soft looking and cute! And I also loved the bed scene where Nin was unable to sleep from worry. When Ran opened his arms and Nin laid on his chest, and then visibly relax, it was another soft moment that I really appreciated. It definitely looked more like ZeeNunew than RanNin, but either way it was one of my favorite scenes this episode.
The only thing that I would say is lacking in this series overall is Tharin's calm accepting nature. It comes across as disingenuous. He was denied seeing his wife and child before they had to flee. He lost his wife and was told his son died. He wasn't allowed to make any true changes in his position because his father was power crazy. He finally gets his son back but that child is basically a stranger to him. And we're saying that he isn't mad even a little bit. It would have been so nice to see him lose his shit at his father when his dad was apologizing. Even knowing his dad probably wasn't going to make it, there wasn't really a reason to not tell that old man he ruined alot of lives, whether he meant to or not, and that once Khanin wins he would be changing everything. But the way he talks to Khanin now just seems like he's tricking Nin to think he is supporting him, to get what he wants. I wanted to see him grieve, if just for a moment, what all he lost, just so that we know that he is for real when he says he will make changes.
Seriously though, outside of that, this was a series that lived up to what it set out to do. Mandee should be proud of what they put out for us all to enjoy. Now I just need them to put even half this amount of energy into their other series.

What even was this ending?! I am disappointed. The writer and director and production team let us down. I don't fault the actors, they just acted out that hot mess to the best they could.
First, I liked the warehouse "get Tony out of here scene". Willy's scene was sick AF. So was KimKenta's scene. I loved the idea of Charlie taking Tony's power and that being the way to kill him. But it would have been nice to show that Tony actually died all the way. And that Charlie really absorbed Tony's powers fully. After the drone shot of everyone grieving after it looked like Charlie dies they should have zoomed back to Charlie breathing again. It would have just tied that scene together better for me. Same with Alan. I knew he had strong powers but not regenerative powers. So when he was shot, just like they did with Kenta, showing that Alan can heal would have made the part where Jeff is able to lift Alan back up and they stare at each other make much better sense and would have flowed better.
Why was Winner allowed to just walk away?! No dying in the shoot out, no getting imprisoned, not even the beating he was given in season 1?! He deserved something other than getting away with it. At least sic Willy on him.
Pete and Chris didn't make sense to me. Pete did not spend as much time with Way as he did Chris, so why would he have a hard time forgetting him. They didn't even date really in season one. It felt more like Pete was beginning to like Way and it was sad that Way died in the end. But Pete not being over Way after years is crazy. I understood Chris' concerns and they made sense, but when he walked away, it should have ended with Pete finally showing some emotions and begging Chris to stay with him.
North and Sonic might as well have not been in this season. It was fine when last season it was more like do they or don't they like each other. They could have left it that and I would have been fine because they were the comic relief and it worked. But they were nope, we'll advance their relationship...only to give us an almost entire season of them being sulky at each other, not communicating and when they finally get together, the worst kisses. It's almost like Michael and Topten are afraid to kiss each other. I know Michael can kiss on screen from him previous works, but so far haven't seen any real chemistry between these two that would make them a good ship in my eyes. And their pathetic kissing in literally every scene they did it in was proof. When Sonic left to go back to school, it was super cute, I like that scene, it was very them, especially from the first season, so the kiss could maybe be forgiven. But when Sonic came back and it was a peck and a hug and that was it...no passion, no evidence that they truly missed each other. Disappointing.
Alan and Jeff. That whole tub scene was weird. The writers knew that Alan's choices needed to be addressed but decided that Jeff would be easy going about the whole thing and it would be no big deal that Alan betrayed not only the groups trust but especially Jeff's. Terrible writing. And it ended with yet another pathetic kiss for a season/series finale. And we know SailubPon can kiss, so this obviously was a director's choice.
KentaKim. Another couple that did not need to be if this was how they were going to end them. They honestly didn't even need to bring Kim back. Kenta could have been rescued by Pete and their friendship could have been reconciled. Once again, it's like GarfieldBenz don't like to kiss each other. I noticed it in their other series, but this time it was obvious. They never kissed exactly on the mouth, it's always off to the side, which is weird AF. But okay, that scene was cool and well acted, so they are going to get a happy ending, right? Especially Kenta because Kim literally says he won't leave him behind. Kenta finally found someone to love and care for him, which was the whole point of them in season 2, right?! Nope, Kim's like gots ta go, see you later, don't be a stranger. And that was it. I kept waiting for Kim to ask Kenta to come with him to Korea, then it would have been a perfect ending. But nope, just Kenta standing there looking sad and alone with literally no where to go or be with. WTF!
Finally Babe Charlie. They wasted time with the whole Charlie still doesn't remember part. Charlie could have had the memory rush while asleep after Babe asks "Mama" to come back. And just as Babe is getting to walk away, sad that Charlie still isn't awake, Charlie wakes up and they could have had that whole scene that happened in the car...only better. To have Charlie not remember Babe for a whole other year and when he finally remembers, you get a pathetic kiss (seemed to be the theme of the last episode) and then a race back to tell the friends. If anything, it should have been them getting out of the car to hug and cry and heap love on each other. It should have been Babe saying how scared he was that Charlie would never remember them and they would never get the wedding they wanted. And it should have been Charlie saying sorry to Babe for forgetting and that he never truly did he was just lost for awhile, or some such. Then Charlie promising that they would have the future they wanted together finally. Cut to beautiful wedding scene. The end. Except, why were Tony and Winner and all them there? I get that it was supposed to be a CharlieBabe turned into a celebration of gay marriage in Thailand to a celebration of the end of the series, but it was just weird. It didn't fit, not with them still show the "ships" like they were in the show. I did like that they included the certificates though, that was beautiful.
Overall, it was a great series in the beginning of season 2 but after they had Alan betray the group it never recovered and I was really hopeful they would recover at the end, but nope it was just wasted time. It should have been longer to answer questions and to see where everyone ended up. Did they take the skill nullifying potion or didn't they. Did they remove the chip from Alan and Kenta? What happened to Willy, where did he go and what is he doing now with his life? What about Tony's lab and operation? Did they shut it down, what about all the immoral rich people and their plans to poison poor people? How's Charlie's body with now having absorbed 3 people's powers? Obviously Tony's power did not help with the memory loss from Jeff's power. Will having three powers wear Charlie down too much? So many unanswered questions. I really wish this show/series had ended better.

The reason why weddings at the end of Thai Bls are so "in" right now is because they now finally can. Once it became legal in Thailand, a pretty big deal, of course the series that, honestly, through their popularity in Thailand and internationally, probably led to the passing of the legalization of gay marriage in Thailand, would show it in every series that came out this year. So is it necessary. I say at least in 2025, yes they should get to hold space for that amazing right that they literally just aquired.
