I came wanting to like this but it was incredibly boring. The ML character is unlikeable because of how he gets angry and shouting often. The FL was irritating for unknown reasons to me.

Don't get me wrong I can enjoy a good overbearing CEO trope drama but this one just lacked all the elements that make that trope work

Well said, you are not alone here. Love the lead actors, such a waste of their potential. It's ok that some love it, I certainly loved drama's that others hated before. No one should get defensive about it and attack others over their opinion.

It was incredibly boring to watch and the business part was nonsensically to anyone who knows anything about business. The kisses that I watched (dropped around eps 17) lacked any real chemistry.

I also hate female chase me trope when it's obsessive like this. The FL reasons for doing it were very immature which made it worse.

I found it very boring even when skipping many scenes and dropped it close to middle after heavy skipping. I love both lead actors and really wanted to like it but the immaturity of the relationship and the main plot was too much. I respect I am probably in the minority here and happy for those who loved it.

I picked it up again after dropping it for a few days after the stupidity got too annoying. It gets better after ep25 in term of main characters getting smarter. Still I found myself skipping a lot.

Wow, this mini series has the steamiest scene I have seen in any Chinese costume drama. That one with the emperor outside the door 🫣😳

I am on ep 17, the 2FL and the “aunt” scheming is getting on my nerves. I hate misunderstanding that could have been resolved with simple critical thinking. Please tell me the stupid plot ends soon, I can’t take it anymore but I like the rest

The characters can be frustratingly stupid and are played like a fuddled by the villains ugh

Yeah that yu ra character or whatever it was called was super predictable and boring, totally unnecessary. Also her actions made no sense at all in the context. Like why though? Makes no sense. 2FL was crazier but her desperation made more logical sense given the situation

Couldn’t agree more! She had the best acting in the drama and the most interesting and complex character (far more than yu ra or what that one was call)

The FL goes back in time after she experience betrayal from her Husband (2ML) and her best friend (2FL). After she is back in time the FL wants the same best friend (2FL ) to merry her future husband (2ML) instead of her because he is a trash husband and she wants the 2FL to pay for her betrayal by having that fate. That’s why it’s “marry my husband “

I was distracted by how overfilled her cheeks and chin were. I don’t mind fillers when done well (you but a bit subtly better ). In this case it’s getting too much and breaking her face proportions

The ML had a good nature and was so good to FL and they had a healthy relationship. Quiet characters likr the ML can be done much better than this. The ML can be reserved and hide his emotions but still remain multidimensional. The ML here is a shadow to FLs desires. He has no aspirations in life or ambition beyond making her happy. His existence in the story is for her and her only. It makes his character fall flat when it could have been much more while remaining true to his personality. This was the story of the FL redemption and a cast full of secondary characters including the ML

It was an okay watch. The FL character was fun and interesting but the ML lacked charm and had the personality of a wet noodle except in rare moments towards the end. The 2nd FL acting and performing was top notch, better than FL and hands down the most interesting and complex character in the drama. There were many plot holes and it was longer than necessary but was still okay watch

I really enjoyed this one more than I thought I could. The ML carried it for the most part. He had this way of looking at the FL that makes you believe he is smitten. His character was the most interesting one. The last arch was messy and I don’t like how they handled some of it. But still no regrets here
