Is this anyone else's first c drama? It's mine after watching kdramas for the last couple of months, ive never…
Oh, you are in for a treat then. Plenty of amazing cdrama's out there. Cdrama shine particularly in historical/fantasy dramas way beyond historical kdramas. However if modern is more your cup of tea then there are loads of great modern cdramas to check out!
I skipped most of the child scenes, they made me uncomfortable. However the rest is*chef's kiss*. The chemistry is strong, I almost felt like I was violating a real couple's privacy, watching them interact day to day. The ML particularly killed it will his acting, it felt so real and natural.
Funny thing, watching it I was jealous but not of the couple's relationship but of the real brother-sister relationship. I really wish I had an older brother...
I do think this drama may send the wrong message to younger girls. The relationship in the drama was very healthy but her parents were right to be concerned at first. 19 is way too young to really know what you want in a partner for the rest of your life. The drama made the relationship perfect but real life is different. That being said, thankfully it's just a drama and it was a joy to watch
I really wanted to like this one, but I was left disappointed. I ended up skipping half of the scenes with sml…
One of my favorite stupid actions in the story was when the evil woman learned that the iron map was carved under the pot. Instead of simply giving Moxi a new nice pot and taking the treasure pot in its place without anyone knowing any better, she goes and tell everyone how valuable it is and tries to take it the hard way. That woman had DAYS of knowing the secret and could have ever stole it easily and no one would have been the wiser 🤦♀️
Or that stupid 2FL, accepting death for forging the doc because the principle threatened to kill Moxi, you stupid****, who will save Moxi if you die!!! Why not tell them there are hostages in the principle house.... Ugh, I am getting angry 😡 again thinking about it
I really wanted to like this one, but I was left disappointed. I ended up skipping half of the scenes with sml because I didn't want to get attached to them together. But the ML and FL really had no romantic chemistry, they felt like bickering friends or siblings, cute and fun but NOT romantic. Both acted well in everything else, just zero romantic spark between them. It wasn't the age difference or looks related, I think they just didn't work as a coupling on screen. SML didn't have much chemistry with FL either, though their coupling made more sense than the leads. I didn't buy the FL reasons for falling for ML tbh.
The story had many nonsensical plot lines and the 2FL was enraging in her uselessness. I was fuming half of the time at her stupidity.
I really enjoyed this one, even though it had many plot holes and inconsistent parts. It was really the leads acting and chemistry. I will follow both from now on. The ML really pulled being a baby dragon super well. It was adorable! I laughed and cried watching this drama. The FL was awesome throughout. . . I wish they had a proper kiss though!!
I liked the leads as actors but couldn't buy their love as true: * The FL fell very quickly at first touch basically. When she claimed she loved him she barely knew anything about him. Hell they probably only exchanged 10 sentences in total at the time. The ML is a man of very few words. * I cannot help but feel she was replacing her dad's care with the ML love. I could have been more convinced of their love if she had another older man pursuing her and she rejected him. I feel she only rejected the 2nd ML because he is as childish as her and she wants a mature male figure like the dad she lost. * The ML really has nothing in common with the FL, it's heavily implied he is into her because she is adorable and he is attracted to her. The FL was very childish tbh even for her age. * They shared no common journey or challenge together, there was no character growth. They had awful communication.
The only pro was their chemistry, but that's not necessarily love, just lust.
I enjoyed it for the leads and side characters being so lovable. The plot isn't particularly ingenious tbh, the reveals were all very predictable for me.
Loved the FL character and her relationship with ML
Still traumatized years later. It was my first cdrama, several sleepless nights binge watching, it took me weeks to get over the sadness in my heart. Yet I still want to rewatch it sometime but I don't know if I dare, it was amazing and haunting at the same time...
