It's easier to count the good people than the villains. 😂 All the princess, except 2nd princess, are bad. Quite a lot of noble & military figures/families are corrupted esp the supporters of both crown prince & 3rd prince. It's a power struggle, so nothing new there. There's one man whose evilness can blow our mind, if LBY didn't catch his plan, it was the most perfect one. Never see it coming that he was so wicked. But I'm not sure if they will use this plot or not since it's pretty long story.
It's because part 1 is their background story with the focus is mostly on CSS so the lack of interaction might be justified (plus it's just a one-sided love from LBY). Meanwhile part 2 is the real deal. We can see how CSS & LBY change and grow to understand each other more.
Will we ever see Niaoniao's eldest brother? Will he appear out of the blue and protect her when she needs him?
Don't think so. Read it somewhere that the production cut from 100+ characters in the novel to only have 90+ appear in the drama. So, I guess he & his family are on that cut list
