Its awesome. However I think with things like this its best to go into it without listening to anyones opinion. people who only focus on the hype of ANY show are so over expecting and its really hard for a show to live up to that. i avoided all discussion on it until it was all out, then watched before I read any reviews. I’m glad I did.
Pathetic show that started out so strong. FL behavior is always contradicting. ML starts out awkward and odd but turns out to be the greenest flag. FL chops and changes her mind the writing is terrible and theres pretty much no intimacy even the kiss scene is so weird - awkward arms and filming from behind its strange. What a disappointment- first few episodes had me hooked. Wouldn’t recommend. It has 4 stars for the good start.
Just finished my 4th rewatch. Love this show despite the annoying side plot and angst from the bus crash stupidity. Yes theres a fair amount of nonsense but this cute fam of 3 are adorbs esp QQ who is the star of the show.

same, I felt like I was enduring it at that point to see if it picked back up. This is not the drama of the year by any means, and I likewise don’t understand what I missed lol, but to each their own. It was tolerable for 70% of it. Started and ended strong, sadly about 25 episodes in the middle were lacking.
On the fence here. Glad to see this actor get a ML role, and he was fabulous. FL was likewise awesome in her role. The writing however was choppy, dragged in parts, and got annoying also. The editing is sloppy too. As a historical cdrama it held all the stereotypes and far majority of this cast are evil doers. It got exhausting. I don’t understand the high ratings for this show, its ok but not outstanding for the reasons mentioned before. Ended satisfactory thank goodness but that was far too long of a drama. One thing I would say is chemistry was fire in the first episode- romance lags incredibly as this show progressed which was a major disappointment. Be wary of the reviews folks have written from only watching a short amount.
Don’t even MDL put Skate into Love up as a comparable drama, this was not even in that shows league..
Complete waste of time. I love Speed Skating dramas but this barely shows you any racing. The ML is emotionless in facial expressions. The 2ML love triangle seems to be created just for kicks, and his punching moments did not need to be justified by his mother or FL as a way to let out his anger. Toxic. The baby that can’t do anything for herself had no right to be on a national team if she can’t take care of herself. ugh. Felt a hot mess. Skipped the last few episodes just to bring it to an end.
Script, execution is a mess. Numbers are pulled out of a hat. There is no way on this planet the mother is 80. The mL is a manchild the entire time. The seconds and third couples are more interesting and the FL just is a doormat the whole time. Its extremely forgettable. A filler drama at best sadly.
Ending was crap. Considering the massive lack of skinship and any kissing, they managed to pull off quite the chemistry. age doesn’t matter. But for crying out loud if actors can’t handle it, please stop casting them as romance show leads. There are other actors who will do this. Give them something else. ugh. Ending is so badly written, literally no one likes it. These writers absolutely suck.
As a fan of Long Ballard I have desperately wanted to see ZLS & LYN back together in a historical because we just didn’t get enough of their love story in that show. 🤩This show started out amazing and started to drag with the never ending issues at Clear Mind. Ending was not to my liking but hey I’m entitled to my own opinion. Seems plenty folks loved it. Probably won’t watch again but an ok watch.
Heavy on the violence. Plenty o’ blood. Masses amount of corruption which Korea does so well, you’re convinced this is a real reflection lol. It’s a true R rated for sure, so be warned. Plot was very lacking though sadly. I gave it a 5 because I’m not really a fan of so much gore. But main actors did a decent enough job in the action department.
Jin Woo is the KING of this show. I stayed for him, and skipped gazillions. This was way too long. There’s nothing beautiful about any love until you get to 98/100 ep. Sad. Whoever titled this needs their head examined. Now I am off to watch a nice no stress drama after this toxic mess of a series🤣🤣
