Ive actually been wanting to watch it for a loooong time cuz lee joongi is one of my favourite actors. But i cant seem to get beyond the first episode. Its still on my to watch list though so definitely going to get to it

Naahhh, i absolutely steer clear of rom coms. This one caught my interest because of how uplifting the dialogues are and it kinda reminded me of my mister (in a small way). I can't seem to explain it very well, but basically even though this has funny moments, it is at core a deep and thought provoking story which is why i would watch this
I tend to watch dark intense stuff. Mostly thrillers (voice, kingdom, kairos, hometown, stranger, signal, tunnel, liar game hellbound, train, save me, you know, stuff like that). So i don't see myself watching a business proposal. I saw clips on Instagram and it's definitely not my kinda show :P but thankyou for the recommendation :)

This show is far from my usually kdrama genre but the clips on instagram and fmvs on youtube have intrigued me. I have a feeling that i will love this show (provided it ends well).
I know sad endings are usually not a deal breaker for most. Many people can simply overlook a sad ending if the rest of the show is amazing....but I've had enough sadness in my life. Im at a particularly low point in my life and i just want to smile while watching this show

Yeah as long as the main cast is still there, im happy. And i doubt they'll cast someone else as the same character. They'll probably just write her out

Esom has reportedly stepped down from the project. It's for the best. No one liked her character so i don't think people are going to be upset over it

Kinda glad since i couldn't warm up to Hana's character at all

I think it's a good decision. Her character wasn't exactly well liked by viewers and didn't bring anything substantial to the plot.
I do hope they keep the rest of the main cast though.

Overrated...i wonder what truly defines overrated. Someone who isnt worth the accolades and awards? We dont decide that. Overrated isnt restricted to just popularity or pretty face. When you say overrated, you are talking about their entire career. Yeah some people may be average actors and it is possible that people gravitated towards them because of their looks or because they were a part of a popular drama but when you say overrated, you are basically reducing a person's worth. You are saying that they are not worth the ratings they get, which is not right at all. There are some things that can be justified with "my opinion i have a right" but does it truly have to be said in that manner?
Take for example song hye kyo since she seems to be everyone's punching bag after her divorce, sure you can say that recently she has been taking on characters that are at core similar. But can we reduce her her career spanning some 15+ years to one word? Overrated? Same goes for park shin hye who has been working since she was a child, sometimes playing characters that are naive and sometimes playing badass characters.
IU is someone who came from a poor background and worked extremely hard to get to where she is. Her acting in scarlet heart was bashed again and again and she was called the reason for why it flopped in korea (at that time). Imagine these people reading such things, seeing their hard work being ignored. Again, is overrated something you can reduce a person to simply because their recent projects lacked or because you dont like them? You can say that you find so and so's acting terrible because that atleast criticizes but doesnt insult. Overrated is just an insult saying that these people who have been working so hard for so long don't deserve any of the praise and accolades.
It is distasteful and something that should end by now. Its 2022. We really need to bring people up or give constructive criticism rather than reduce them to one word.
And yes i did read the word overhyped in your description but your title has overrated in it. That is why I said overhyped is somewhat better.

This poll....should not exist. Its one thing to talk about dramas, a whole other thing when you are talking about actors and actresses. It's just wrong because everyone works hard to get where they are. Overhyped would be a better word but overrated is just plain mean

You really dont get the point do you? You attacked someone's personal drama choice simply because they hated a show you liked. That's not very mature. A better way would be to ask them why they hated it. Or even to ignore the comment all together. If you think goblin is trash, go write that on goblin's mdl page. People are certainly allowed to dislike things, but there's way to go about it. OP was wrong for calling this show 'trash' but you were even more wrong for attacking their personal choice

Yeah but like i said, how does it make you any different from the original comment? Now you may think goblin is semi trash but there are many others (like me) who loved it (and not blindly, we have our reasons). OP called this show semi trash even though many love it. You could have responded in a different manner no? Why bring another show, even if you hate it, into this? You dont have to bring up something by trashing something else

Overrated is very much an insult to the character. It also is an insult to those who like her. You can criticize the character aaaalll you want but calling someone overrated isnt criticism. It's just being mean

I actually like this show but....why bring goblin into this? Like rating goblin high makes someone lesser than others. You did exactly the original commenter did. I like shows like voice, kingdom, signal but I also like goblin. That's the beauty of variation. A show that you thought was terrible does not have to be universally accepted as terrible. So get over yourselves

I mean maybe for you she's overrated? People are liking her so let them, you could simply say you didn't like her as much. I don't get why you had to throw in the word overrated. Like people are just blindly liking her or something

Considering this was by the makers of the guest, im kinda disappointed by how it ended. The finale of the guest is one my of top favourites and I was expecting something that epic. Maybe the writers need to stick to horror and thriller and stay away from love stories. The guest had no romance and yet the three main characters had this amazing chemistry.
I definitely came to this show because of Lee jin wook but even more than that, it was because of who was writing the script. But this show had its plus points too. However, I was prepared to have something that would be even better than the guest. But it wasn't. It wasn't anyone's fault, i was just hoping for a somewhat different storyline.
Now that this drama is done, i wonder whether lee jin wook will be returning to sweet home season 2 or even hopefully voice season 5? 🤔 ive seen this man die in way too many shows now 🤣

You shouldn't avoid everything by them. They are a talented duo, this drama just wasn't it because it is supposed to have a bit of a love story (which i feel like they need to work on and till then stick to thrillers/horror). Try the guest. That is a better example of how talented they are

Not alone, it's just that ever since the drama made it clear that the OTP is hwal and sangwoon, we just got less vocal about our preferred ship since there's no point

No offence but out of all the dramas you listed, goblin is the only that would be 9/10. The rest would be a 7 or 7.5 (especially bride of habaek, doom at your service and tale of the nine tailed)
