You can go ahead and quote, i doubt you'll find any comment targeting you guys for shipping SW and hwal. You'll only find comments talking about the characters and the romance. We haven't taken offence to you shipping a different couple. We take offence to you for attacking US for shipping a different couple. Our comments on the show and characters do not address you in anyway. We don't say stuff like "you hwal sangwoon shippers etc etc." Even now my comments are addressing you and @Dreamy because i have no issue with the rest of the hwal sang woon shippers
Serious question though: how is calling the romance forced personally offensive to you and @Dreamy?

I absolutely loved season 1, didn't even notice that the writer changed after a certain point because i was just so engrossed.
I enjoyed how the show would make you haaate the villains with a passion, would make your blood boil to the point you'd want to reach into the screen and beat them up, but then kim doki would punish them and it would be soooo satisfying to see. Because the show would bring you to the point where you'd want no mercy for the bad guys and kim doki would give no mercy. Reminded me of another show, bad guys.
I am looking forward to the second season and i hope they keep the tone they had for season 1 in this as well. I dont want unnecessary comedy, the amount in season 1 was just right.
With regards to romance, i personally have nothing against it but i don't think it should be overt since that would take away the tone of the show. Plus it would be kind misplaced. I don't mind subtle romance, like in ghost detective, train, voice 2 and 3, happiness, Liar game etc.
You know the kind that is there but doesnt need to be defined or shoved into your face? That's what i would like.
As for who it should be between, i would like it if it was between kim do ki and go eun. Their chemistry was cute and i especially liked it in the latter half. Hana....is a difficult character to warm up to. I seem to have this problem with almost every character esom plays. I don't know why cuz its not like she is a bad actor. But in this show she was particularly unbearable. I guess it was her character. I truly didn't see the point of her character and the show could have easily been just a great without her as well. But that's just me and my opinion. Im sure many people must have liked her too and must have seen something that i didn't

No matter what ship sails, i like the show. The shipping is just an added bonus. I won't let is destroy my enjoyment of the show regardless of who ends up with who. Had it bothered me to that extent, i would have stopped the show a long time ago

We talk about how hwal sol have amazing chemistry and how the romance feels forced. You guys counter with:
"you people are haters"
"You are fixated"
"Its just some fans of the 2fl"
"Some people here don't even want to give the main couple a chance"
"Hwal sol shippers are more vocal because they are insecure".
Do you see the difference? We talk about the drama, the characters and the actors. You talk about US. Like talk about your ship all you want, why do you keep addressing us? What have we done to offend YOU?

Also hwal and sol kinda remind me of grim reaper and sunny from Goblin

I agree with what you see. Somewhere between guilt and duty, there lies a deeper love. Not all kinds of love are the same. His love for sol is a different kind. Its a love of a shared and remembered past. A love of a man and woman who were wed. A quiet kind of love. A love that people who have read regency era books might understand. Or those who live where arranged marriages are the norm. While with sang woon i can see the makers are going for a more of a intense borne out of hate love

Firstly, "romance is forced" is an opinion we hwal sol shippers have and major reason for not shipping hwal and sang woon. This statement has no hateful sentiment behind it nor is it a personal attack toward anyone. Its fine if you don't think so, we got nothing against it. Especially since our ship wont even sail most likely. We have said that a 1000 times. Is it a crime to say we don't like the romantic angle the show is going for?
Secondly: most of the comments talking about hwal falling for the one who killed his family were waaaaaay in the beginning. For past few weeks literally everyone has been agreeing with each other that there is probably more to it. Also why do you keep forgetting that until things are revealed within the show, people can have different predictions? This theory was confirmed only last week. If people didnt see it coming before that can you fault them? Its a show where anything can happen!
Thirdly @Dreamy clearly addressed those who had "closed their hearts to the romance" and "hated the romance". Who do you think it means if not us who don't like the main romance? Again, is it a crime to like something other than what you like? Please don't force us all into one circle. Continue your shipping and we will continue ours. Lets all be respectful to each other and not fight over a freaking show

People have their own reasons for liking one ship over the other. It is also their free will to like no ship at all and prefer no romance at all. That is THEIR perspective. Wanting the FL and ML to have their happy ending together is YOUR wish and liking them together is YOUR perspective. Its a free world, everyone can criticize an actor as long as it is the acting they are talking about and not the personal attacks. My point is that no one from among the hwal sol shippers or the no romance crowd attack you in any way or accuse you of hating. Why do you feel the need to attack or accuse people in general simply for liking or wanting something different from you? Ship you favourite couple all you want, no body cares. But stop with the unnecessary barbs. If people had been against kwon nara to begin with, they wouldn't have started the show. I see no comment saying what you are implying. All i see is people saying that they prefer the 2FL's acting. If that is hating according to you then so be it

I really don't get your last paragraph? Most of us hwal sol shippers have repeatedly said we know our ship likely won't even sail? We've even said our reasons for shipping? There's really no "fixation" or "hating". It's just a difference in perspective.

Yes. Every single main character would have been a villain in any other show :P it has two seasons but season 2 has a completely different cast. I loved season 1, season 2 not so much. Its also an older show but still very good.

Exactly, i never started the show thinking I'd be shipping the male lead with the SFL

But I mean....its not entirely impossible given we still don't know who the baby's father is? Like why make her pregnant at all if its not relevant to the plot so might as well be your theory :P

That was what I thought the premise would be when the first few trailers came out :P

Considering this show has been penned by the duo that was behind one of my all time favourite shows, The Guest, i have high expectations. The highlight of the guest was not unpredictable or complicated plots, it was the way every person's story touched you and of course the chemistry between the 3 mains.
So far im still aboard the hwal sol ship. I don't know if it's because gong seong yoon is the better actress or if it's because they showed hwal sol's shared past first with only hints of hwal and sang woon's shared but regardless of reason, i am shipping them. Is it likely that the ship will sail? Nope not really. And i think it wont hurt if the ship doesn't sail because im mentally prepared for it.
However I'm keeping an open mind and who knows maybe the makers will convince me to ship sang woon and hwal.
The show is intriguing, has an awesome villain and keeps you wanting more. I would definitely recommend it. And i also recommend everyone to watch the guest while waiting for the new episodes
