You want angry sang woon, i actually wanted evil sang woon 🤭🤭 like can you imagine if both kwon nara and…
I honestly thought she would be playing the antagonist along with lee joon when the first trailer came out :P i thought it would be interesting to see someone who looks as sweet and innocent as her playing a baddie but oh well this is nice too. Though im still on board the hwal sol ship and it's unlikely to change at this point
You know ive noticed something (don't take this the wrong way) but you seem to have a habit of putting "the other…
I think pretty much everyone knew that Sang woon was not the one who killed hwal's family. But that's not the point here. After all until it was revealed within the show, this was just a speculation. You can't fault people for having a different prediction or for thinking differently about a character. The point that im trying to make here is that you seem to be putting down the PEOPLE that make comments different from your own, not their opinions. Like for example in the last 2 lines of your comment you mention 'haters'. Look no actor is safe from criticism. Even actors like gong yoo, won bin, bae doona and jun ji jyun regularly get criticized by some. I personally think lee jin wook is an amazing actor but i would never call those who criticize him 'haters' because this is all subjective. Unless people start engaging in name calling or commenting on the way someone looks, its all healthy criticism. Then you comment things like "where are the people who called sang woon dumb". Again, people are talking about the show. No one is attacking anyone here in the comment section so there's no need to get upset over it. Lastly i am by no means calling you rude. You are very civil and i enjoy reading your comments because it gives me a completely different perspective on the show. I just think certain things can be said in a better way since it comes across the wrong way sometimes and feels like less of a difference in opinion and more of a personal attack.
I am quite pissed that no one cares about sang un, like she literally has her neck bruised so bad and no one asked…
You want angry sang woon, i actually wanted evil sang woon 🤭🤭 like can you imagine if both kwon nara and lee joon had been the evil squad? Now that would have been a deadly but beautiful combination Editing to add that this is obviously not how the show will go, I'm just saying that this was what i had wanted when i saw the trailers and when the show had just started
Loved episode 8 so much..The starting scene of Sangwoon hugging Hwal brought me back to the time when he was choking…
You know ive noticed something (don't take this the wrong way) but you seem to have a habit of putting "the other couple shippers" down. It's perfectly fine for people to ship who so ever they want right? I don't see why you are taking it so personally? We hwal sol shippers have our reasons and you hwal sang woon shippers have yours. It is possible to co exist no? I wasn't going to say anything but i keep seeing hidden barbs in your comments. You have freedom of speech yes, but it would be nice of you if you didn't say something like "its just the fans of the actress playing SFL" (just an example from your many comments). At the end of the day it is just a drama. And it is very likely the sang woon will be the female lead, we hwal sol shippers know that and have prepared ourselves for it. But whatever we say whether it be kwon nara's acting (which is fine in my opinion) or the chemistry, it's about the drama. We are not targeting you in anyway. So why do you feel the need to throw barbs at us? Lets just enjoy the show
I never watched 24, but wasn't the concept that the entire season was happening in one single day? :D
24 was one of a kind! I remember i would be watching it with my family and all of us would be on the edge, biting our nails because every freaking episode ended on the mother of all cliffhangers. It went down in terms of quality eventually course because any show that is stretched beyond capacity will obviously end up going in circles but the first 4 seasons were epic
I read that somewhat Netflix is reluctant to make a season 3 but honestly at this point they'll probably kill…
Why are they reluctant though? Given how korean shows have been the rage last year, i would think they would want to renew their successful shows. I mean sweet home has been renewed, squid game will also likely have another season so why not Kingdom? And no i dont think having another season will mean quality goes down or that they'll kill off characters randomly. The ending of season 2 and the special episode both showed us that the makers have storyline in mind and i for one think it could be incredible
Exactly, even they had whatever history but he doesn't remember all those, on top of that for 600 years he has…
If this show is pre produced (which i think it is) it is highly unlikely the makers will listen to what the fans want. Case in point: start up and true beauty (i havent watched these shows but i hear that SLS was pretty severe among the viewers). Even if this wasn't pre produced it would still be unlikely that the script would change due to fans. I remember when the show born again was airing, everyone was shipping the female lead with lee soo hyuk's character. But jang ki yong was the main lead and despite sooooo many people being absolutely convinced that lee soo hyuk's character would be the one to end up with the FL, it didn't happen. I remember how disappointed i was when the writer of the show was changed midway and it became obvious that the new writer was going for an ending with jang ki yong's character getting the girl. The point is lets just hope the script originally has a hwal sol ending because if not, i doubt they'll listen to fans. They usually never do which isn't a bad thing always since sometimes fans make unreasonable demands but then there are times when it wouldn't hurt to listen to them either. Lets see how it goes because at the end of the day, while romance may be a major part of the show, that's all there is to it. I personally do ship hwal and sol. As some sang woon and hwal shippers keep implying, no i didnt start this show because im a fan of gong seong yeon, nor was i a fan of kwon nara. I had seen both of them in one show each and i came to watch this for lee jin wook. I came into this show with an open mind and found myself shipping hwal and sol. It has nothing to do with who is playing sol/si ho and everything to do with the character and her dynamic with hwal.
hi guys, any drama recommendation with a a psychopath yet attractive villain like Ok Eul Tae?
I second Voice 1, and while you're at it watch voice 2 as well. The villain is attractive and psychotic but a little more restrained and...sophisticated in his killings compared to the one in voice 1. Other than that: Liar Game (korean version) The uncanny counter Train Bad guys s1 (all of the protagonists would be the villains in another show but not in this one. Watch it, it's a really good show) Hometown (not to be confused with Hometown cha cha cha. The villain is sooooo terrifying yet so charming! His voice alone is scary) My name (havent watched it nor do i plan to but alot of people are raving about the villains in this one so maybe) Flower of evil (it's on my to watch list and i hear the villain is very good looking) Missing you (this isn't a favourite and i actually dropped it buuuut the only reason i would recommend it is for the villain. Be warned though the actor playing male lead has been accused of sexual assault by multiple people) Less than evil Money game (he's not psychotic and is more grey than evil. But he's definitely the antagonist for most of the show. You'll go from hating him in one moment to shipping him with the female lead the next 😅) Strangers from hell (lee dong wook, who woulda thunk it?)
She makes it very clear throughout the series that she doesn't want to be one. I know they had to get together…
Yeah you are right it really isnt that far off. The king should have just let her be. I absolutely hate it when one person in a relationship makes a sacrifice and pushes the other one away but in this case, I'd rather the king pushed her away and let her be free. How different their stories might have been.
He's such a charismatic actor. Villain, hero or supporting role, this man always pulls you in with his acting. He really needs more leading roles in action thrillers.
Given the success of squid game, I wish this show had been a netflix original too. And had it been released this year, people would have appreciated it more. It absolutely kills me to see this brilliant show being ignored. I first watched it back in 2019. Then rewatched it last year. I still felt the same emotions I did as when i first saw it. This was THAT good.
I havent watched the drama (not my preferred genre) but because I'm a fan of lee se young and think junho is an emerging talent, i watched the clips that people posted on Instagram. And from all of those clips all i was able to deduce was how much happier deok im would have been had she never become the consort. Sure she loved the king, but we humans often can't have everything we love and look, we still live on. But since this is based on actual history obviously they had to stick with events that happened.
