Viewership of all weekend dramas dropped, not just bulgasal's. Probably due to the awards being aired (kbs, mbc…
I meant the episodes airing on Saturday for all weekend drama saw a drop in viewership due to the red sleeve's finale being pushed to saturday because of the award shows being aired on friday. See originally red sleeve was supposed to follow schedule with episodes 16 airing on friday and 17 on saturday, both at 10p.m. However because of the awards, both episodes aired on saturday from 9.30 pm onwards (sorry the miscommunication was my fault). Bulgasal airs at 9 and snowdrop at 10.30. So it was likely due to red sleeve's finale that all saturday episodes saw a drop. Snowdrop was at 1.9 and bulgasal was at 3.2. Sunday episodes showed a rise in ratings for both. So it was the much anticipated finale of the red sleeve which was the factor here. Next week's ratings will likely show a rise for both shows.
I'm feeling more chemistry and tension with ml and 2fl. Hopefully the sisters relationship won't be severed by…

i haven't watched this season yet but i want to ask what illness does kang woo have??and did he do anything wrong…
Yeah i thought you might have but wanted to let you know on the off chance that you hadn't. Also i don't necessarily agree with the diagnosis of ASPD. Im a doctor, and though im not a psychiatrist, i do know a little about the subject from what i learnt in med school. I think do kang woo was having side effects from repressing his memories and from taking medication that wasn't meant for him. See not a lot of people know this but visual hallucinations are actually more likely to be due to medication related side effects rather than mental illness. So i think that do kang woo was having his memory come back in explosive flashes, confused his repressed memory and responses to bleeding ears to be as a result of ASPD and was taking medication. The hallucinations were likely due to the medicine and not worsening condition. But while watching shows i tell myself to just sit back and enjoy and put the 'doctor' away :P
you cant possibly think of how frustrated i am with this drama. the only reason i am still here is because of…
Yeah jo in sung was a major factor there, i completely agree And yeah now that you mention it i think you're right about her doing well as a blind character because her eyes are cold and blank. But despite that, i still wouldn't call her acting in TWTWB mediocre. For example the emotional scenes especially after she found out the truth about her brother, the anger and bitterness was well acted (in my opinion of course). Even mediocre actors like her are capable of putting out one or two performances that are pretty good especially when they have career spanning more than 2 decades.

Well i think she did a good job of in her portrayal of a blind, depressed, suicidal woman. Especially the blind part. I feel like that drama was when song hye kyo peaked. Now is it getting redundant? Yes it is. But that doesn't mean she didn't do well. Also recall, that winter the wind blows was before this drama and encounter. So her cold, aloof character portrayal has been redundant since AFTER that winter the wind blows. I think maybe because she was praised for her performance then, she decided to play safe and stick to characters with similar traits? I dunno.
I know I'm saturating the comment section at this point, but I've been rewatching some of my favourite thrillers…
One of the characters gets shot in the head and it's a clear head shot unlike do kang woo's and he still survives! Another man is strangled with a fish wire and also survives So why can't it be possible here? It wouldn't be the first time a character was presumed dead only to be brought back. Its not even illogical for him to be brought back. It was his death that was actually illogical. After giving us all the hope that do kang woo isnt a lost cause, that a cure is possible, they just kill him? Im not buying it.
I know I'm saturating the comment section at this point, but I've been rewatching some of my favourite thrillers (because this year's thrillers were kinda disappointing, weren't as dark as the ones released from 2017-2019, exceptions being hellbound, hometown and happiness) So anyway i was rewatching tell me what you saw and (marking the rest as spoiler)
In kdrama it's a common trope to have an issue come up and have the main couple break up for quiet self reflection. With…
I remember voice season 2 episode 10 had similar situation where the male lead grabs the female lead and makes her his hostage (he was pointing a gun at her) but then he whispers that he's only pretending. The female lead didn't know he was pretending until he told her. So not exactly a true hostage situation but close enough. If you are talking about shows where the male lead points a weapon at the female lead, there are plenty of those.
Remember that he's innocent unless he's proven guilty & as far as I remember the case is closed, no further news…
You should keep up with the case if it bothered you that much. He was found innocent by the court. Not only did he willingly give over his phone and other devices, also stated that he would cooperate with the investigation within a few days of being accused. Instead of settling with the accuser as most korean actors do after being accused, he counter sued. The woman was found guilty and served time in jail. There have been many actors that have been accused in recent years and despite reaching court settlements or being cleared, their cases have been shady enough for the public to still eye them with suspicion (examples being park yoo chun and park shi hoo). Reason being that his case was very straightforward and crystal clear. Plus the police investigations revealed that everything was fabricated.
8.1 rating, seriously? Am legit doubting the taste of the people who purposely rated this drama down.2021 is not…
2021 was a strange year for me. Shows that i enjoyed (like the thriller, hometown) didnt get the attention of the masses while Shows that were meh for me ended up being big hits. This is particularly strange because this was the year of action thrillers which is my preferred genre.
Wow, from your list I think I only watched Kairos, dropped Memories of Alhambra, and is Liar Game the K or J drama?…
Liar game has two verisons, i have only seen the korean version and i liked it a lot. The japanese version has more seasons though. I have seen may 3 or 4 cdramas and i usually fast forward them :P i think the only cdrama i truly enjoyed watching was flourish in time. To be honest i too almost dropped memories of alhambra at one point but im glad I didn't because it got pretty good. There was a reason for all that build up. But then again i know many people that didnt really like it.
