The last rescue scene in episode 22 where they delivered the baby from the mother who just died is so touching and poignant. It's like saying that despite all the sufferings, deaths and damages caused by the earthquake, there is hope brought about by this new life. And I feel it's indirectly saying there is definitely hope for SY and XQ!

P.S. So glad that iQIYI leaked episode 23, and thanks to those who shared it here. At least I can watch one more episode today (was quite busy yesterday so I only watched ep 22).

She is also in "Oh My General" as Liu Xi Yin, the cousin of the FL General Ye Zhao (played by Sandra Ma). That's her first drama. Check it out if you have time, I highly recommend it :).

Well said! You explained it very clearly. And I agree with your other comment that there are some thoughts and reasonings in novels (generally speaking, bec. I haven't read the novel for this) that are sometimes hard to translate into drama unless there is a narrator. So drama adaptations in most cases are not 100% the same as the novels they are based on.

Yes I love her response too! 😆 The blind date was telling her that his mother likes her and wants her to marry into his family and "enjoy" life, and also that their qualifications match. I was like, "Really, saying that on your first date/meeting?"

Good turning point in episode 16! I like the idea that they're getting to know each other again, and in a way, the scene where they shook hands and said "Nice meeting you" symbolizes it. The demo scene towards the end is funny, such as the medical team's (all girls) eagerness to "try" the step that XQ did 😄.

Same sentiment! There is great character development here, which makes the story build-up even more exciting.

I'm liking and enjoying this drama a lot :)! It's a story of second chance romance that gradually builds up, such that I'm anticipating and excited for the character development and progress of the story. I can already see the chemistry between YY and WCR. And I have to say this: love the drunken confession scene in ep 10! IMO, Wang Chu Ran was able to show all the angst, frustrations and pain that she had bottled up inside. I actually rewatched that scene before starting on ep 11. Looking forward to eps 13 and 14 later! That's the downside of watching a drama that is airing/not completely released - it's a waiting game, and I can only binge-watch a few episodes at a time (but this can also be good because it's like a control when I have other things to do) 😄.
