I get that certain viewers/fans are upset that their fictional bubble has been burst, by a shot of harmful reality, but it should never, ever negate what people have experienced in their real lives. I don't understand why this particular actor, thought that his former remarks, would never, ever be found out. Especially since he's in a successful BL series.
His past remarks were always going to be found out. Once BOC knew about it, his management should have taken the proactive approach, in discussing his postings, before the series aired.

I haven't read the book, so I'm not exactly sure, when Togawa realized that his admiration for Nozue turned towards love, but he's spent years nursing his crush on him.
