What gets me, is that certain fans/viewers, constantly try to make comparisons to current shows, or even older series (TharnType), in some effort to make a "point" for why they're really, really bent out of shape over the many critical comments/reviews for the other series.
They've bought their baggage to the following other series threads over the past couple of days:

It doesn't make sense to me, but they need to lash out.
"I've heard others say the story is not plausible. How could Nuea like Toh?"
I think the other big "issue" the naysayers had about the topic of this series, besides Toh's "stalking", was the initial posts from viewers, in utter disbelief, that "someone like Toh, could EVER attract, or be viewed as attractive, by someone, as hot as Nuea!"
Basically, the couldn't comprehend that someone as effeminate, odd, clumsy, insecure, and strange as Toh, should be able to be the pursued one in a BL series, because he WAS the one that Nuea went after. Not the other way around.
Nuea was the one, that made himself available to Toh. He was the one, that set everything in motion, for them to interact with one another. If Nuea hadn't done that, would Sky, Tor, and even Intouch have had the opportunity to also get the chance to get to know Jao, Som, and Daisy?! Have them get to know them?!
That those "misfits" were all viewed as the persons of affections, by the hot guys, will always make me thankful, that I got over my own initial hangups. I wasn't really bothered by Toh's behavior, because frankly, this behavior is rampant in all types of fandoms, including BL fandom. Toh wasn't collecting, hoarding those items, nor stalking Nuea to gain his interest, to get him to notice him, or even become a part of his life. He just wanted to have a momento, so that he could have something that reminded him, of what made him happy.
My initial feeling, was that this series was going to be "pastel colored BL fluff for the young ones". That it wouldn't appeal to me, and I was totally wrong. I used to call it a guilty pleasure, but now it has become one of my favorite BLs of 2022, and frankly a series that I will rewatch repeatedly in the years to come.

I can say that times, throughout an episode, I have moments, in which I mentally say, "shut off your brain", but I'm charmed by this series. I want Faiyen, Manni, and Dermdem to get their hearts desire, which is a future with Evan, Jin, and Meow.
Damnit!! That was really good. I don’t know what it is, but South Korea knows how to capture the pure beauty in their shots. The cinematography was excellent in this series.
