NAGISA-SAN DESERVE THE WHOLE WORLD.
If you want a quirky yet matured drama, this is for you. If you are someone who doesn't like outside of the box tropes when it comes to romance, this is a skip for you (or maybe just skip the last 2 episodes of the drama.)I love how wholesome the whole drama is. From relationships, to problem solving, to work related situations. This is why I get sucked up to JDramas. They know how to approach hard concepts and turn them into digestible scenes and scenarios. This one particularly gave some scenes that deals with misunderstandings both new and old. Some were too long that both parties got awkward about it and just decided to stop trying to amend the situation but with certain help from the people around them, they were able to come to a closure and made up with each other. Another one was a fairly new misunderstanding where one immediately addressed it to the other to clarify things and set a certain closure; bringing their relationship closer and stronger than ever.
The relationship between Mei and Nagisa seemed rather weird considering their ages but with proper approach and certain mindfulness, it is inevitable that the two will end up liking each other and going for the home run. This drama did not focus on the romantic side of love, rather, focused on the need of both parties into consideration. Nagisa became a lonely single man who's already done with his prime year while Mei is staring out with hers but needs a lot of encouragement and guidance for her life and career advancements. Knowing both fill in on each other's needs and flaws, it was given that they would be a match.
I am glad that this drama was not closed off to the possibilities of such trope couple. Not all young women who goes for older men are after their money or no choice at all. This drama shows that some just have their own ways in approaching love, relationships, and marriage. Seeing how they did a 4 day trial marriage gave a lot of realization for both parties as well. Just like in marriage, not everyday is a happy, lovey-dovey day. Some days, you just put up with everything until the day ends. What's important is that someone you chose to marry will be there with you through and through.
I also love how this drama shows that there are no genders when it comes to work. You can do anything as long as you set your mind into it. Seeing how Mei is a career driven woman while Nagisa is a soft hearted home maker is a quite refreshing and unique take especially in this patriarchal society.
Overall, this drama is going on to my favorites' list. This is a must watch one too knowing this can open your perspective to other points of views within our society. Not all can be what they seem according to how you see it. It is important to open one to other possibilities and to keep an open mind about other people's situations and needs.

Totally unexpected!!!
I came here after Michieda-kun's movie with Riko-chan called "Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight" thinking that they had such good chemistry from the movie that they would surely have more chemistry on this one. I went into this drama blindly only to realize that this was released a year before the movie and that this was not a typical heterosexual love story that I was looking forward to. I would say that isn't the unexpected part. The unexpected part for me was I was seriously rooting for both artists' characters to end up together but then fell in love with the story and loved the main leads instead.Don't get me wrong. I am not against any LGBTQ++ relationship but as I fell deeply in love with the movie mentioned, I can't help but want more of their interaction and to see Michieda-kun in his other works too and surely I say, this one did not disappoint. In fact, I wanted more of this that I am highly considering watching the Thai adaptation of this.
So first things first. I loved how this drama is so light that I never felt any disgust in the way they expressed their feelings for one another. Again, don't get me wrong. I am not anti-homo here but there are dramas that made me want to skip some parts of their BL scenes since I don't see the relevance of it being shown on screens (I guess this shows how people differ in their opinions but this is mine). I also love how the people around them didn't discriminate or judge them that much. Yes, there were people who took it a bit weird but when they expressed how much they wanted to be together and how much they liked each other, it goes to show how people can be more open and understanding such retrospect and will change their perspective to meet eye-to-eye with the people involved.
I am also fond of every characters' quirks and way of relaying their feelings. The chemistry of the male leads is one of the things that made me love this drama. They are the complete polar opposites and the way they show and cope with themselves throughout their whole outing phase gave me a reality check on how people like them in our society feels their vulnerability and their confusion when it comes to dealing and accepting who and what their true feelings are. I also love how supportive the new generation of this age had become when it comes to such topics. Truly, man kind has a way of evolving that no other species could surpass.
Another thing to take note of is Aoki and Hashimoto's unbounded friendship. Like I mentioned above, I was rooting for them. I sincerely wanted them to be the end game but I was also rooting for Aoki ending up with Ida. I love how their friendship pushes each other to be more matured and honest with themselves. Every interaction they had on the screen was so funny and relatable that I wished I had those moments in real life too. Meanwhile, there is Aida whom I absolutely found compelling. I like how he handled his ways all while helping his dear friend out. He is an easy going guy and if I were to be his friend, I would love him too even if he is a bit dense.
Overall, this drama surprised me. I've watched so many BL dramas before and believe me when I say that the wholesomeness of this drama will surely make you crave for more. I totally recommend this for those who are new into watching and venturing other "not so norm" dramas with outside of the box thinking. I will probably rewatch this from time to time just to quench my desires of wanting more from this drama.

The love that was loved and protected by everyone around them.
I sort of feel that I am too late in watching this movie and that I hate myself for not knowing about it until now but... here goesImagine waking up in a state of confusion because yesterday you were caught in an accident trying to save a kid, only to read on your head bed a sign that says "I have anterograde amnesia. You don't remember anything from yesterday when you wake up the next day. Please don't forget to read your diary." This i how our main female protagonist always have her mornings. Relearning everything from a book of memories she wrote from yesterday and reliving it as best as she could to move on with this day ahead. Having this condition sure is not all breezy. In fact, it takes a lot of effort, time, and support from everyone around you to actually go on by the day only to have them erased from you while you sleep. Every memory, every feeling, and everything are all a big blur that is familiar and yet still unknown to one. Alas, despite of all these, Hino Maori never gave up. She even went out on her day and live it to the fullest with the help of everyone who surrounds her which includes her best friend, Wataya Izumi, and our main male lead, Kamiya Tooru.
The bond that was shown and acted out throughout the whole movie was as genuine as they all can be with one another, having their characters come to life as if they are their own characters. I know this is how I was initially captivated. The resounding art of one artist in showcasing their roles to give life to one of the most touching and yet tragic story that a lover could possibly experience; being forgotten again and again and again.
Kamiya Tooru, a young lad that is not so brightly seen by their common peers and often associated with the gloomy ones from the rest, approached the quiet and stunning girl that everyone was too cautious to ruin. Her elegance stands out and yet he came with an empty declaration of love in order to try and save his friend from being destructively harassed by the many. With his gentleness, Maori could not have helped but try to welcome him with a smile and a response that left everyone, including the young lad, surprised.
Wataya Izami, a loyal confidantn to Maori, dedicated herself into helping her best friend live her everyday life as lively as she can, even if the cost of it was her pain and becoming utterly a walking diary that records every moment and minute of her life.
The three of them are entangled to a moment of their youth that will forever change each others' lives.
I would not go as much of a detail in what the rest of the story became but instead I will share my experience of pain, guilt, and joy when I was watching this movie. I was so invested with the characters' dynamics and how their story became to be so lighthearted and yet so heavy without leaving a trace of the main context of their overall friendships. I could hardly think that a friend would be so loyal to one to the point of sacrificing herself and her friend's memories in other to save on from the suffering that they were experiencing. This movie shows how love in different forms can be so crucial to one who badly needs it in order to keep going and keep on trying. The love of the one who gave her memories, the love of the one who kept those memories, and the love of those who supported all their loves and memories are greatly shown and well executed in this movies.
This being produced to give life to the book "Konya, Sekai Kara Kono Koi ga Kietemo , SekaKoi; Tonight, Even if This Love Disappears From the World" by Ichijo Misaki, I can't help wonder what I would be feeling if I had the chance to read it for myself. This movie gave me so much emotions and pain that I could only imagine would be 10 times more if I were to read the book.
In all aspects, this movie is a true gem to be seen and to be lavishly regarded. The acting was cleanly executed, the music and songs used were carefully selected and made to support the mood and the feeling of the whole movie, the overall cinematography truly captivated the japanese mellow theme that I personally love, and lastly, the story and the script was well-written and artistically directed to give it an overall satisfying plot that keeps the whole movie grounded together that will leave you with a wholly empty space for it to sink into and make a mark within.

Not amusing enough
I don't know much about Korean horror culture but if I were to compare this one to most of the horror movies I have encountered, this one is not amusing enough for me.The story is fine and somewhat typical of a horror one but the acting is on point. Although the suspense is there, it lacks enough built up and ending factor overall.
It's a great way to kill time, if I do say so myself, but not enough to have me craving for more and remembering it when the dark comes about.

The Devil will go through lengths to have it his way
This drama is such a thrill for me. I went through all the way to the 15th Episode and still have no clue as to what Judge Kang wants and main objective, although I do have a clear sense of he is really after. It confuses me on to why he was overly obsessed to have Judge Kim's support. It must be because he highly resembles Kang's adoptive older brother and was trying to live his revengeful phase in the best case as he can by making it look like his "brother" supports him through it.I honestly love how this drama unfolds and how the cinematography and the acting goes hand-in-hand. I want to say so many things about this drama but I refrained from doing so because I want others to try and watch it for themselves. I was confused throughout all of it but I do feel the sentiments of pain and anger throughout their lines and conversations. The real essence of a devil is greatly depicted and acted out by actor Ji Sung. I never knew I would love him more than Park Jinyoung (who is the original reason why I watched this) after all of it. As confusing as it is, I know why it was purposely done so. Just like the devil, it confuses and manipulates. It is the main epitome of its existence, thus this is a great way to show how he would be if he was to be a human.
The mere fact that the supporting characters are as evil as they are ought to be, it gave a greater stage for the main devil to shine and to have his works prevail above all malice. What I can't relate to is the obsession of Jung Seon-A for Judge Kang. I understand that they are somehow the same and relate to each other in means of upbringing and attitude but to instantly rise up to power and toy with everyone else just to get one man's attention is a bit too much for me. Knowing that her past isn't that great to begin with and her sudden powerplay was utterly conniving just don't add up for me and doesn't make much sense. I guess that's how it is in a dystopian setting... anything is possible as long as they have a reason.
Overall, this was a great watch and it got my brain to think so many speculations as I could. I also had some doubts and thoughts about all of it and somehow it all just comes down to one reason: Revenge and perhaps great satisfaction or regret.

Partners in DEFEATING crime
The chemistry of every actor here are so good that I wanted more episodes from this. The bubbly attitude of Haneo mixes well with Ishiko's strict and by the book principles. I can't believe that they pulled off such a great combination and emits the vibe that their respective characters should be emitting.
I love how this drama focused more on the cases and not the drama and the relationships around them. There were instances that they needed to focus on the said elements in order to pull off a digestible narrative for the viewers to take in but it was not that prolonged and overbearing.
I honestly want to give this a 10 but like I said, I wanted more of this and I really hope that they make a 2nd season of it.
I want to see more of the dynamics of the duo and the relationship between Ishiko and Oba to the full extent.
I don't want to spoil too much about the story since it is an experience that I believe every viewer of this should tackle on their own. I focused more on the chemistry of the actors because it was enough for me to finish the whole series in a breeze. They were fun and super relatable to watch out for.

Childhood Movie Wonder
I remember this being the first ever project I watched starring Yamazaki Kento. I knew this from a manga and knowing the overall plot of a typical high school manga romcom, forced to live together, frenemy to a crush, fall in love, and ultimately have a relationship as a happy ending, this movie made it to my "top list of movies" during my childhood tween days.its not much of a drama and plot but it still holds a significant part of my heart because it allowed me to enjoy live actions of manga and animes without being too judgmental towards the acting cast.
I will still rewatch this if I have some time to kill and maybe reminisce about my hopes and dreams during the time I was in my imagination stages.

Enlightening and fun exploration
When I first encountered this drama, I wasn't expecting much out of it. The trailer and the description didn't get me interested and I watched this one out of boredom and to kill time that I had. Nonetheless, this one is a gem in the rough for me. I never thought that I would love this to an extent.First of all, the topic about sex, sexuality, and beyond romances are quite messy and embarrassing. It has became a norm that such conversations are treated with malice, somehow sacred, and been shoved into the a treasure chest that ends up sinking into the depths of the ocean. With the growing curiosity of young adults these days, it is crucial to let them be brave enough to come forward and not be ashamed of opening such topics to older adults for them to be properly guided and safely seek out the truth within. The fact that the main leads of this drama are not scared enough to talk about things in a diner (a public place) is a great visualization of how common and open these topics should be in the first place.
The visualization and concepts used for this drama are also jaw-dropping. I never expected them to tackle masturbation for women. It has become a common knowledge that the act is usually done by men but sort of unexpected for women. I love how they showed here that both genders have needs and that they are associated to health. They also showed how women tends to be more indulged into the pleasure of it than men does, which is quite refreshing to see, knowing how people tend to box genders with proper conduct and manners. Masturbation is not a bad thing at all, and it is clearly shown here in a digestible manner.
They also tackled a situation where a young adult became pregnant before graduating. The fears, worries, and discrimination that teenage pregnancy experiences were clearly shown here as well. It is quite heartbreaking that this happens a lot within our society and it is often depicted as a major disappointment. Yet this was only a result of misguided and strict approach towards explorations of sex and sexuality. It is great to also know that there are a lot of ways in how to deal with the situation without degrading the young parents who made a mistake.
I don't know much about the other sexuality types but they had some conversations about them in here too. I went along and enjoyed how they explored the topics of LGBT+++ communities and how they differ to one another. I think I might indulge myself about them some other time as I find them quite interesting too. I did come across before an Asexual spectrum term "Demisexual and Demiromantic" as some of my friends defined this to be my closest sexuality. I am not too sure and I didn't really dive into it about it that much yet but I might try to learn about it soon.
Overall, this drama gave me a refreshing food for thought about commonly unapproached and unexplored topic, sex and sexuality. This drama shows how progressive the minds of people are and how they are not afraid to question the norms and societal standards anymore. I really love this and would recommend this to young people who are afraid to ask initially, to somehow give them a boost and let them be curious while they still want and can.

Good start, So-So ending
I have watched a lot of "start-up companies" dramas and this one fits the category of it but with more mess all over the whole plot. Two best friends creating games for everyone to enjoy collaborating with a local small gem company passed down for generation to fulfill each needs of recovery, healing, and restart.I absolutely love the plot but somehow it was all over the place that it got me tired into figuring out why everything was so hard in the first place. Although, I do understand that not everyone can move forward as easy as others but this drama shows how a good support system can make a huge difference in every phase of our lives.
I love how the ending came about that the enemy became a friend and they all retrieve the secret of Atom's success. I am glad that I watched this drama but somehow, it did not do any much of an impact for me as some JDoramas does.

A different kind of approach to romance and relationships
This drama is not focused on the romantic ending of the main character but rather, focused on every kind of relationship (romantic or not) the main character have with other people. From having some sparks with a new person only to find out that everything was only according to your imagination because you assumed that everything they do or think concerns you, to getting back together with someone you thought was only a one time thing and then ended up talking about marriage before ultimately ending it all together, to jumping back to a long term ex and finding out that they just got out of another long term relationship and only entertained you again to not feel lonely, and lastly, ultimately ending up with a realization that the person you utterly pronounced as someone you will never ever end up with unexpectedly became someone who you can no longer live without whether as good friends or forever lovers.
Murai-kun really did go through a lot of rollercoaster of feelings because of all the relationships he has had. Seeing not only the romantic relationships are being highlighted, the drama shows a versatile way of dealing and showing how we too can experience daily relationships such as friendships, families, and romanticness. A lot of these relationships gave me an unexpected turn to myself where I tend to question and think of the situations the characters were in as if I were in their shoes. Through this drama, I also had the chance to have multiple realizations about some people's approach and perspective when i comes to dealing with their own situations and messes.
I sort of understand the opposites' perspective too. Through the side story of Mami and her husband, Genki, at first I didn'ty like how Mami didn't just come clean with Genki in the first place and led on ultimately leading them both to almost collapse individually upon filing for divorce and then ended up staying together doing something more of the hassles of "unmarried but living together" but happily. I really felt like they could've have had a better option with their relationship given that they were already married and Genki was ready to fly to the moon and back for Mami. If Mami only was patient with Genki by coming clean and making him understand her point to view a bit more, maybe they wouldn't have had to get divorced and do more than the bare minimum for all the requirements of the society. Although I do understand Mami's point of view and desire to go against the normal societal rules, I wish she would have just talked properly with Genki about it before she went out and acted like a complete brat about it. I may say that with this side story, women are starting to question and live outside of the societal rules that the patriarchs established to be the "norm". Having yourself as an equal individual in a relationship is a refreshing approach in starting to deal with and fighting this "norm" we are all used to be in.
Among Mukai-kun's relationships, I regretted not seeing a huge and obvious progress with Sakaido-san. I really loved them from the beginning. I was expecting them to go steady with each other but the drama ended with an open ending where they only declared to one another that they want to see each other face-to-face, vaguely implying that they are seeing each other on a different light all while keeping their closeness as friends still a priority (or so I think). I want to see them beyond friendship and more of a lover trope. But ALAS! I know some of us also have those kinds of people in our lives where we leave it up to fate and destiny but still value the friendship no matter what happens.
A lot more happened to this drama than I could ever imagine and could ever speak of here. Overall, this drama approached the unspoken thoughts and desires of people about the societal norm about relationships into a manageable and digestible way that even an average person like me could comprehend and linger thoughts of even after watching this.

This is a Recap with a glimpse of their marriage life.
This is a whole series recap with bits of how their married life is going so far. Not all is fond of the couple's relationship, considering that Nagisa is too motherly and both didn't even held hands nor had any fluttering moments like a kiss or some sort but I think that is the essence of this wholesome drama. No matter how they make love or turn out for the future, that is up to them to do so. I guess the "more than 20 years gap" between them is a bit too much. I loved the series for how they ended up with, choosing someone who they need in the life instead of going for the luxury of it. But I guess this trope is a bit too far off for a lot of people.
Overall, it is nice to see the couple strive to be better for each other everyday.

Almost didn’t finish it
I got bored after the 5th episode. I didn’t think I would have finished it but I still did for the sake of it.The cinematography was on point and everything was good except for the main characters’ whole point of their relationship. They know from the start that they were never to be together but I guess that’s the whole point of the story… accepting and growing towards freedom.
For me it was good enough for me to finish it but boring enough to not car no matter what happens to the ending. I would say the Korean version of this got me more emotionally invested. This felt like it got toned down story wise.
Nevertheless, it was a good watch but won’t be suggesting to have a rewatch. I watched this only for the male lead actor tbh. 🤣

Cutie Side Characters
This is a good way to let every fan of the parent drama to fully grasp what was happening with the lesser minor characters of the background. They may not be as relevant as the main ones but they nailed their story and their acting so much that I couldn't help but finish everything.I love this and I hope anyone who reads this would try to watch these mini episodes too.
Takahashi Fumiya is a bonus point for his good and handsome looks with his killer acting skills.

"You will never be alone... You have your own." - Koko
Finishing this drama was a breeze and I can't believe I am finally saying this but... I DON'T HATE OR DISLIKE ANYONE FROM THIS DRAMA. All characters are lovable and they all ended up filling my heart to the brim. Yes, they made mistakes. Yes, they had so many misunderstandings. Yes, they are all struggling and are tired with their lives. Yes, they have secrets and all of that. BUT... they would face everything, every situation, every emotion, every conversation, head on!The maturity that these characters have and some, went through, is TOP NOTCH. From heir background stories, to their current situations, to their relations with each other, everything is well played and well acted. The narration that the writer did for every situation that every individual character had was well executed.
I may say, not everything we want may go or turn out to be our way but by the end of the day, we must accept what we have as a result of our hard work and determine and sleep with our hearts full of satisfactions and no regrets. This is exactly what I think this drama is all about and the way they showed it through this drama is quite refreshing for me especially I have watched a lot of dramas where the characters tend to spiral down to the worse situations between each other just because of a simple misunderstanding or what not. This show really gave me a glimpse of how people with an accepting mindset react, think, feel, and face what is needed to be faced.
You. You make a difference no matter how small you see yourself to be and what really matters are the people who will accept you for who you are and know exactly how to love you without having yourself be stressed and strained in proving your worth to them.
Overall, this drama is a GEM. I highly recommend this one for those who wants a simple and light hearted drama for the day.

Great start, Tiring Ending.
Starting this drama gave me a sense of nostalgia that I have been missing from new dramas but it lasted too soon. Having the familiar roller coaster ride of a typical budding relationship (the struggles of admitting one's feelings, getting caught up with love triangles all while managing to go through the hardships of the relationship itself, and overall circle of friends interaction with the whole thing) is good for a storyline but having it get repeated again and again but different situation with different new characters can lead the viewer get tired of the whole series.Given the situation Nao and Hisashi were in, I sort of understand how the story managed to establish the connection of both characters to push the story forward. Although given that they are still highschoolers and gaining their respective guardians permission to continue their set up of living is also a good plus.
I must say, I stayed throughout the whole series to see their relationship bloom and hoped that they would come out of it stronger than ever but... I WAS UTTERLY BETRAYED. Why? Simply because the Hisashi did not learn anything from the past situations they went through. After all the dramas and heartbreaks both acquired, he stayed nonchalant and unbothered with only a slight chance of giving Nao the lesser bare minimum of butterflies she needs that makes her stay in the relationship (WHICH DISAPPOINTED ME SO MUCH).
Nao, I understand that she is hopelessly in love with Hisashi, kept on accepting and tolerating everything and just get over all the heartaches and pain she went through after Hisashi gives her somewhat a vague and every so lightly LOVEBOMBING; like, why would you stay in a relationship that would have you go asking and doubting yourself whether you deserve it or not. She is plainly (and utterly painful, if I may say) a "PERFECT HEROINE" that knows no limits as to how they see everyone, especially Hisashi, in good light which ticks me a lot since in reality, no one will ever be that extensive in continually giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.
And then there's the "Newly Married Couple", Hisashi's brother and Yuri. I can't with them at all. I understand that they are still new to the whole "marriage" thing but one knows how to keep things between each other with certain boundaries all while getting to have a good pep talk from people you truly trust but these two (specifically Yuri), kept bothering high school kids with their problems and having them solve their problems for them most of the time. Yuri is aware of the younger brother's feelings and yet kept forcing Hisashi to come back home to her and her husband which doesnt make sense given that being new to the married life will make you want to spend more time with the person you actually married ALONE. I understand that they are worried about Hisashi but he did say and showed they that he can handle things on his own and he is old enough to be able to keep a certain distance from them to give them space. I wont be talking about the older brother since his story is pretty much a good cause of a misunderstanding, having him want to think first before going about consulting everyone. His only mistake would be consulting someone he shouldn't have approached, being his ex.
I like other characters in the story, though. Their circle of friends are so patient and so understanding to the leads that it saddens me how they were not highlighted that much. Issei and Daichi truly deserved better. Daichi is good big brother and I can sense that he could be a good boyfriend too, only if he went for someone that is more mature and has a good head on her shoulders. Issei, on the other hand, did have someone chase after him but due to his nature of priorities, I understand why he couldn't commit to knowing that person (especially that person did go overly aggressive in approaching him, which lead to him being scared than being touched). I also like how he did try to acknowledge and entertain his feelings for Nao but didn't continue in the end and just settled to keep things the way they are. He was matured enough to duel Hisashi about it but accepted defeat. I wish both character would be given a better ending and love story of their own.
OVERALL, this drama is good if you want to keep things light but I wouldn't recommend it for the plot. I am all for the go during the earlier episodes but I was just keeping myself from punching a wall for the rest of the series since they just continued having problems that are the same with the previous ones they already had. The worse part of it all is that the main characters don't even show much of a character development from all of it. It was a good run but won't be rewatching this.
I am still trying to convince myself to watch the 2nd season at this point, but we'll see.
