I checked. Not sure if we are looking at the same award. The one by Sohu, Top CPs of the year, 1st was Dilraba and Yang Yang; 2nd Lareina Song and Wang Anyu (To Fly with you); 3rd ZLS and Liuyunig (TLB); 4th Rattan couple; 5th One and Only couple.

I think most people who compared YAMG with Love020 mainly compare the chemistry, do they behave like a couple in love, since this is basically a romance drama. And Dilraba and Yang Yang have won a number of awards based on their amazing chemistry in this drama. So, you are right, the chemistry in this drama is indeed better.

They did not experience any hiccup, because even after marriage, each of them was able to give the other party space, space to pursue each other's career and dream.

In a way, it is a very modern concept, where, after marriage, the wife needs not give up her career. QJJ continued in her acting career, until they have launched the satellite into space. That was YuTu's dream, so they did not want to start a family immediately. But, we can be sure, if the story had continue, they would soon be focusing on baby making.

No, I have not heard of that rumour. Where did you hear it from? Twitter? I thought the actress who acted as the FL in Doulou Continent did a very decent job. Why would they want to replace her?

I agree with you. It would be waste of pairing Reba with XZ in a drama. If any pairing, should be a brand new drama, not a sequel. And historical drama, not modern drama. XZ has better visuals in a historical drama and likely better track record in historical dramas.

Interestingly, do you know which couple came in 2nd? You will be surprised! Then again, maybe not.

I did not watch love020. But people who have watched both love020 and You are my glory said this is definitely better.

Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre was very well received in China. Lots of views. The ML did very well. There are two FLs. Both the ladies acted very well.

I watched it 2-3 times. That was back in 2019. That year, not a single Dilraba drama, so I just watched something else 2-3 times to past time.

I just recall. Dilraba had a drama in 2018 called Flame's Daughter, and there, she could also fight. Not sure if you watched that one. That too, I watched at least 3 times.

You can try Remembrance of Things Past. It has more work life issues, and less romance, but there is still romance in it. And more sorrow than YAMG. This drama was very well received in China.

Another modern drama is My Fated Boy. Romance between an older woman and younger guy, and some work life issues.

No. I am not a novel reader. I like to watch dramas without reading the source material. Like the drama to tell me the entire story.

Chinese New Year is next week. By now, Dilraba could have flown home to Xinjiang, to be with her parents; or her parents flown to Shanghai to be with her. Most likely, she will not be making any major decisions at this moment. And whatever we get on social media will just be unconfirmed news.

May have to wait till mid-Feb to get any official update.

I see. If that is the case, and they own the rights to Ball Lightning, no wonder Reba is not keen in doing that drama. What if midst filming, they decided to cut budget or something? Will be highly risky.
