Yes, as mentioned by Fairydustpuppy in a post below, even if the scene was never filmed, just a voice over before the final dialogue, to explain how YH got her tail and come back alive after 300 years would have done the job. It would have no doubt in people's mind that it is indeed happy ending.

No, I must be honest, I did not watch Love and Redemption. But I do know that it is a very good drama, and it is also a Youku production, jointly produced with some other companies. Immortal Samsara is also another up and coming Youku production.

TLB has a mean score of 8.7. TBW is really as good as TLB, so when the others are here, we will really need them to push it up.

I doubt it will have significant negative effect. In an entire drama of 42 episodes, they missed out maybe 3-5 minutes to make it perfect?? Most people will bear that in mind and view this drama fairly.

And all the indices are showing that the great majority of people in China are of the opinion that this is a great drama. That is why so many people are watching is. That is why the Ji Yunhe character has been rated the most popular drama character of the 1st quarter of 2022 in China.
