They were not digital effects. Neither were they 'real' palaces. This series was filmed at Hengdian world studios in China, the largest film studio in the world. So, many of the 'places' we see in the drama were just production sets made to look like the real stuff.

Awesome is the right word. Many of us have a very narrow spectrum of the kind of dramas we will watch. Her spectrum is quite broad. So, the chances are high she will pick up lots of useful stuff from the other pages.

Lots of people write negative stuff about Dilraba all the time. The more successful she is, the more those kind of stuff will appear. Just ignore them. She is doing great and will get even better as time goes on. Her best years are still ahead.

That is so so true!! Everything about TLB is inch perfect. From our two leads, to the script, to the directing, acting, OSTs, BGM, the whole package. Nothing comes close at the moment.

I felt like this is a 'filler' episode. Nothing significant happened. It is just used to link E8 and E10. I do find it strange that our Li Changge will be walking in the woods in the middle of nowhere and she would somehow bumped into Ashile Sun. By now, AS already know her identity as the Princess of Tang.

Nothing major happened in this episode. Li Changge left Yozhou and reached Shuozhou. She'er people trying to capture Ashile Sun. I am fine with the title you title you chose, as Hao Du and Wu Shuyu is still trying to find Changge, and now, they discovered that Leyan is also lost.

Sure!! If you are a romantic at heart, I assure you, you will love TLB. The romance here in of a different type from that you see in a rom-com. When you do watch TLB, you might agree with me

If you have performance background, you will love TLB even more. The acting by the various actors and actreses is superb!! Especially Dilraba, who is the main protaganist, and Wu Lei, the first male lead.

Right after this short and sweet conversation, the director will quickly asked them to talk serious busines, not wanting a serious drama to digress to become a rom-com.

Changge will start talking about her plan to save the Eagles Division. At this point, we do not know it yet. But, in the same episode, in that conversation between Mujin and Ashile Sun, we will know that it is indeed her idea to fake the death of the Eagles' Division and Ashile Sun

Yup. Totally undiplomatic. Guy who tells a girl that on the first date will never get a second. And poor Changge; she got to deflect and blame it on Zhen Zhu.

This is a serious drama, yet the director and his team are ever so ready to add light hearted and sweet moments like this

I had the same reaction. And they used the song sung by Rosy, which was so appropriate. It was also the first time Changge wore perfume, just like what a modern high school girl would do on her first date, to charm her beau. She was still rather shy, this being their first date, and would recoil her hands and look away from him. It is such a sweet scene.

I love that episode so much! The English subs said she was dating him. And when they met the following night, it was one of the cutest scenes in the drama.

About a year from now

Yes! You are so right and so observant!! She always wants to take the lead. You know what? After she has charmed him and completely wrapped him around her little fingers, she will be leading him. And she will do it so skillfully, he will not even realise that.

The Long Ballad is serious drama, sprinkled with humour here and there. If you have yet to start, you should. You will be charmed. But do be warned. After watching this, you might find rom-coms unpalatable thereafter

Oh, do not need to worry about the drama having 49 episodes. Things move along quite nicely. There are very little repetitive stuff. When you are done watching all 49 episodes, and if this drama suits your taste, you may well wish that there are more episodes.

Oh, because you said she let him take her wherever he wants, which is also what happened at the running scene. You can see that that he is taking the lead and she is just following. All the way to that wine shop. I thought you were referring to that.

But I also like the scene where they drank wine together. The conversation they had while drinking the wine is totally sweet!
