And Chang An in Bloody Romance was also similar to A'Sun in TLB. He did not mind to let Yanmei shine. He just wanted to make sure she is always safe, just like our A'Sun always wanted CG to be safe, and would not mind letting her shine brighter than him. A'Sun was her shadow, always protecting her. It does remind me of Bloody Romance. Qu Chu Xiao did so well as Li Yi Tong's shadow and the producer and director for TLB thought he would be great as A'Sun

I think in general, we need not worry at all. Reba did well. I remember someone posted some comments here, when TLB was stil being aired in China. And she topped the ranking list, beating out even male actors who are extremely popular in China.
This is quite interesting, because the Chinese viewers seem to be able to separate the two: The drama itself, and Reba's performance as Li Changge. It is as if they are saying, if I do not like the animation used, I will blame the director/Producer. They are responsible and the viewers will rate the drama down. Yet, they can tell that Reba did a very good job portraying Li Changge, and she will still rank top.
So, we need not worry about Reba's future. Portraying Li Changge raised her profile as an actress, her future will shine so bright. We can already tell by some of the roles she is getting in her next two historical dramas.
