Did you hear this from somewhere?

All those re-watching of TLB is going to affect you. You will likely find many other dramas too shallow. Or you will probably not like the usual tropes used (like misunderstanding between ML and FL, due most often to lack of communication between them)

TLB is just a rare gem of a drama

I am told that in the manhua, her character died rather early. Here in the drama, the screenwriters really gave her an extended role. She died only near the very end. So, she was in many many scenes. Many more than in the manhua. So, they really needed a good actress. She did a very good job

Yes, indeed that is the one with Yang Yang. Lusi must really prove her acting skills. Her diehard fans will still love it, regardless of her performance. I am a neutral who really wish for her to do well. That one should be out by around August of next year, as they are still filming it right now

The music worked like magic in many of those scenes. Especially they dropped those lyrics by the side. So in sync with the scene. Just build up all those emotions in us, when we watch

Really? Which episode was this? I must have missed it or watched and could not remember, or was it in animation?

I find the plot too repetitive. She keeps getting bullied again and again. Read some comments in their comments section which seem to suggest the screenwriter uses lots of misunderstanding betwee ML and FL.

That is another thing I do not like in a drama. Here in TLB, there is little to no misunderstanding between AS and Changge because of their constant communication with each other

Yes, many show use misunderstanding between the leads as part of the storyline. And they will drag and drag till it becomes so boring and even irritating. In TLB, no such thing. Our CG and AS are always so open and trusting. They communicate constantly.

Very much so. Lots of materials can be used as a spinoff. And that new drama will surely have many viewers. All those watched TLB will surely flock there.

If the manhua author can settle her dispute with her former studio or agency, we can have Season 2. And we can then have many scenes which tell us what happened to the lives of these wonderful people. Who knows. One day Yuan may end to be the next Changge, just as fearless, smart, skillful in so many areas. And our Yuan Niang can visit Changge at the grasslands and show her how much she has grown. And they can go on an adventure together

It is alright. Like you said. Better late than never. That is the wonderful thing about this forum. We are always very open. We welcome new people. Even if you bring up a topic that been discussed earlier, no one will blame you.

And new people always bring new perspectives, which help to look at all those episodes with deeper appreciation.

This is one reason why this forum is still going strong. It may well end as being the forum with the greatest number of comments.

People here are simply on fire for TLB

So part from Rom Coms, dramas that have strong FL are also going to be hard to watch. I don't know how many other genres will be affected. If we are determined to watch any drama at all, may just have to lower our bar and say we are never to going another TLB or another Changge. Or else, lots of dramas out there will become unwatchable.

A drama like TLB, the plot is more complex than many dramas out there. Very likely parents will want to accompany their children in the viewing, in case there are certain scenes they do not understand. And, in the process, as what Serenity said, parents will then have to play a role to educate their kids. All those killings on the battlefield, parents will have to explain that is what people during those times do, when they fight in a war, if they have 15 year old kids watching this.

I read a comment here somewhere, that person said she watched this drama together with her young daughter.

If there is a best award for best written drama, and best director, or overall best picture, like the academy award for best picture, I think TLB will win it. It is just that good!

Indeed. Yet, she had no choice. The Eagles division was just too strong. If they fight on, more ordinary citizens will die. Sacrificing her life to save the citizens was worth it. Nevermind even if they do not understand what she did, and think that she betrayed them

At this point, she does not know yet. But AS was never going to kill her. His feeling for her already too embedded in his heart. All his troops did know either. Just him. It would be the start of his journey, to protect her at every turn of event that may put her in danger.

I didn't read the manhua. Is that what she did? Have those bales filed with barb wires and have those bales projected at the horses, they will stop suddently to eat, throw the Ashile troops off their horses and then those horses' mouths will be so filed with so much barb wires, they will be in pain, cannot open them and just die of pain and hunger?

If so, I am glad they did not show those scenes. It would have been truly barbaric. So I am glad we got the version of CG that we did in the drama. Sufficiently smart. And more humane than the manhua version.

Nothing! Nothing can compared to TLB. Especially our CG.

I watched one drama that says strong FL. And then what happened? First episode, she got slapped by her father, the ML and his friends pushed her around, even female relatives her age mocked her. And I thought to myself. Is that strong FL? And I thought what would our Changge have done?

She would have dodged the father's slap and grabbed hold of his hand. When the ML tries to bully her, she would have kicked his sensitive part (really hard). All those female relatives, she would have given them a big piece of her mind. Of course, things will change later. I am sure this particular FL will get stronger.

But Changge sets the bar so high, another drama that says strong FL, we are always gonna compare her with CG. And it will be so difficult to see how that FL can match our CG. We are always to say, "Is that what you call strong FL?"
