Trailer #4https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4747570209623302#&videoThis new trailer really got the atmosphere of first…
All the 3 new trailers are good. They confirmed at least one important element. The quality of the CGI is good. So, all our fears from the 1st trailer can now be put to rest. Also, all the voice dubbing, very high quality, reflecting the exact emotions the actos/actresses wanted to convey. All the dubbing done professionally in a studio, so no external noise, and more consistent in quality, compared to dramas that use part dubbing and part original actors/actresses' voices.
Everything thus far comes across as high budget; nothing looks cheap. Not the CGI; not the costumes; not the sound recording; the music, etc.
We wait for the detailed airing schedule. And maybe the MV of the opening OST?

The happy moments in this trailer is the same as some of the posters shown yesterday. Indeed, these were moments before the storm hit. Princess Shunde's voice dubber does not sound too evil. Wish it can be even more evil. But perhaps that is what her character is like, in the novel. Does not speak like a shrieking evil step mother in a Disney movie, but a cool, calculative and supremely confident evil woman.
Thanks! I saw this when you posted about the TBW issue yesterday. She looks the part and so gorgeous. They have…
Yet to download the app onto my phone. I actually prefer watching with the computer screen or TV. So, I will try to load the app onto the TV later on. Watching on the phone can be a pain. The screen is just too small!
And yes, like you, I would much prefer a legal drama to rom-com. I did not watch Reba's earlier rom-com like Pretty Li Huizen or Sweet Dreams. Only followed her to YAMG because of TLB. But I consider YAMG to be more of a serious drama. The amount of comedy isn't substantial at all, and even when there, the type of comedy is more subtle and refined.

Just wonder if it is reflection of their society? Lots of corruption and crime around and they are very open about acknowledging it and trying to fight it? While the Chinese try not to highlight or amplify the existence such negative news in their society?
Hong Kong produces lots of courtroom and police type of modern dramas, but the production is really bad. Watched them years ago, but these days, ever Chinese production of historical became world class, I have stopped watching any HK dramas.
So interesting that the UK drama involving violence is called Happy Valley. Did they do that, because justice is brought to bear on those who are violent?

I don't really watch those kdramas. Was just curious just how popular this genre is, so I used the search algorithm in MDL to search. Was really surprised that there are about 20 such dramas in Kdramaland over the past 5 years! I doubt there is even 5 such dramas in Cdramaland.
And we are to talk about western legal dramas, my goodness! Endless! The Law and Order series was one of the longest running series in the US. The spinoff, Law and Order SVU, if I am not wrong, it is still running. But Law and Order SVU is more police focused than courtroom focused. The original Law and Order series has more legal and courtroom stuff.
How do you downlod yoku outside china? I can press youku.com but there is no english translation for the website?
Wait for 17 March. Come back to this page. There should be a section above with the title "Where to watch The Blue Whisper". You should see the Youku icon. As well as other platforms. I think if you just click on the Youku icon, it should provide with you with instruction how to subcribe and watch it.
Maybe for part 1 they intend to make it romcom, but part 2 i s where the heaver scenes are.
I did not read the novel. So, going to watch the drama based entirely what will be shown. But, given what we saw in TLB and Eternal Love of Dream, both of which were directed by this same director, Director Chu, humour should be minimal. There was hardly any humour in ELOD. There was practically zero humour in the source material of TLB, but a very small amount of humour was injected into the drama.
In a few days, we will see Part 1 of TBW. Personally, I do not expect to see much humour. But, from the trailer and some of the recently released stills, it does seem that Yunhe and Changyi will have some happy times together. They went shopping at a night market, almost like a modern couple would go shopping at a mall. They watched fireworks together. They ate candies together.
Yes, only viewers in China who watch on Youku's app will count toward viewership. We need not worry. Reba and…
It should be a good drama. 2nd trailer points to high quality CGI, great acting by the cast, great dubbing by the voice actors. This drama should do very well in China and overseas.
