Seriously, it was creepy to see Jae Eon in the morning in her aunt's house, helping her like they are acquaintances…
did we get his side? we didn't. don't run with this bs narrative of 'oh he's just misunderstood' w/o anything to base it on. coz his behavior is exactly not that. and ML knew it was her. coz he knew the name of the statue and when he was apparently 'falling in love at first sight', he heard the ex call FL's name out loud. and read any of my other comments. my main problem with this series is the FL.
yeah apparently majority of users don't find that to be a problem. it blows my mind how many are willing to romanticize…
yes. the 'development' is the main problem with this series. there is none. FL's issues run deep. from her family to her 2 relationships. makers didn't even bother with giving ML a proper background let alone introspect on his emotional issues. we get to watch them stare at each other blankly till the sun sets but there's no time to expound on any of the aforementioned parts. no idea how people can label this as realistic and then turn around and say that 'romance fixes all the problems in a person'. realistically, there's no growing together here. its a cycle of emotional abuse. apparently some people don't even see much of a problem that FL has on emotional level. there's one user below who said that she only got a confidence problem. and she'll be fine with the him this time around coz she has gained that.
Did he fell in love with her while looking at her naked-on-fours sculpture? 🤪 that was purely disturbing! And…
yeah apparently majority of users don't find that to be a problem. it blows my mind how many are willing to romanticize the ending even after watching that. there's no love here. never was. at the very best its obsession.
this one has a popular cast like the other series you mentioned. that alone makes it a guaranteed 7 or 8 on this…
I mean its a different value or definition of entertainment for everyone. and I don't mind that. everyone has their own freedom to rate whatever they want. but rating should be encompass other aspects like acting, writing, direction etcetra. it should go beyond enjoyability. rating smth on the basis of enjoyability results in an 'all style' series like this getting higher ratings. it makes no sense for this series to be rated equal to 'Stranger' and 'Beyond Evil'. latter two are distinctly better than this series all across the board. its not even a competition.
Seriously, it was creepy to see Jae Eon in the morning in her aunt's house, helping her like they are acquaintances…
lol when they pulled this 'love at first sight' card, I facepalmed myself in Picard style. ending is horseshit. no matter how many people here wanna romanticize it. or spin it as realistic. like you have to accept every asshole coz apparently its 'love'. moving on is never on the table. and FL is once again a fucking joke in another korean series romance. nothing new here :/
Wtf? Why this has high ratings? Didn't writing of this drama really sucked bad ? This year so many dramas have…
this one has a popular cast like the other series you mentioned. that alone makes it a guaranteed 7 or 8 on this website even if their performance deserves it or not. for korean series, 'all style and no substance' keeps the very large majority of MDL audience happy :/

yeah. that's what it is. always entering her personal space to assert himself giving half smirks when girl feels uncomfortable. stalking her. this is not even the worst of it. you remember where he apparently fell in 'love' with her. when she was watching her bent over statue in the art museum. people want to paint his behavior with a broad stroke. the guy moped around for a couple of eps and everyone said aww. he's hurt. he's just immature. what a load of bs.
plot is ridiculously shallow. this is worth 90 min movie or 2-3 eps not 10+ hrs series. director did its best to make it watchable. pacing is atrocious. acting is mid at best. it is noticeably bad in second half by both leads. problem with stretching out. flaws becomes more and more visible. I said this before many times, that ending will make or break this series. not worth the time.
istg korean writers just can't write FLs. her development is horrendous considering the amount of screentime devoted to her. her family and mother part was never delved into. there was no introspection into first relationship and very little into second one. 10+ hrs and they couldn't properly develop 2 main leads of the series *smh*
people keep saying this is different. this is realistic. you know what else is more realistic? MOVING ON. coz not every relationship will work out in your life.
that is not the point. and she knows its her fault. she didn't even blamed the guy when they fought in the rain. she literally said she hated herself for wanting to give him a chance after everything. her sense of self worth/confidence/esteem is all shot. there's no loving yourself when all of that lies at the bottom of the toilet. she is turning into an emotionally dependent person which was supposed to be addressed as her moving on alone to Paris or smth.
ig you must've missed the part where she repeatedly cried and blamed herself for being in this pathetic relationship. confidence is not the only problem here. series hints at the gamut of issues that stems from her childhood and mother but never addressed them. just like there's little to no introspection about either of her relationships :/
there's no correct definition for that. all I can say is that there's no loving anyone if you can't love yourself. and in this series it is pretty damn evident that FL doesn't :/
Ah they pretty much messed up the ending, atleast for me it didn't really work out. What I wanted most from this…
yes. it wasn't addressed. just that main baddies are dead so audience claps. commentary about their fictional society is very half assed and poorly shown :/
